She was born November 27, 1929 in Mifflintown to the late Arthur D. and Mildred (Grose) Shearer. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Paul Shearer.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Herbert Loucks,; son, David Jay Loucks; brother, Samuel A. Shearer of Essex Junction, Vermont and sister, Mary Schubert of Camp Hill.
She was retired from Kinney Shoe Corporation, Camp Hill and was an active member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisberry.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at her church with The Rev. Timothy L. Hoffman, her Pastor officiating. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Fairview Twp.
A viewing will be from 1-1:45pm at the church.

George F. Lynn
Born Oct. 12, 1921, in Hawstone, he was the son of the late Chalmer H. Lynn and Willa E. (Dobson) Lynn. His loving wife, Helen Virginia (Pugh) Lynn, since 1943, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">died Dec. 24, 1994.
Surviving are: a son, Neil F. Lynn and wife, Elizabeth, North East, MD, where George made his home for the last two years due to failing health. Also surviving are two sisters, Mary C. (Lynn) Hartley, Ohesson Manor, Lewistown and Bertha L. (Lynn) Dell, 1286 Back Maitland Rd., Lewistown; eight nieces, seven nephews; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He graduated from Hershey Industrial School in 1939, he worked for Glen L. Martins before going into the infantry during World War II. He was wounded in Germany and received the Purple Heart.
His funeral service will be at noon Thursday at Lassahn Funeral Home, 7401 Bel-Air Road, Overtea, MD.
A viewing will be from 11 a.m. until the service time Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation and Burial will be later at the convenience of the family.
Anna M. Maben
Born Aug. 7, 1917, in Lumber City, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Ferguson) Specht. Her husband, Ross L. Surviving are: two daughters, Anna Wagner, Lewistown, and Mrs. Walter (Beverly) Pearson, Mifflintown; a foster son, Dennis Weyant, Yeagertown; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was a Production employee at American Viscose Corp., and later at Avtex Fibers, Lewistown, with 35 years of service, retiring in 1979.
She attended Pleasant Acres Assembly of God Church, Lewistown. She was a member of Granville Volunteer Fire Company Women's Auxiliary, the Pensioneer's Club and Avisco 25 Year Club.
Her funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Juniata Memorial Park Chapel, with Rev. Harold N. Imes officiating. There will be no public viewing.
Hoenstine Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements.

George C. Mackey
Born June 12, 1920, in Wilmington, DE, he was a son of the late, Joseph O. and Anna (Cooper) Mackey. His wife, Martha T. (Thomson) Mackey, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">died May 1995. He had been married for 51 years.
Surviving are: two daughters, Judith Mackey Cook, Aldan, and Susan T. Simpson, Newtown Square. Also surviving are his fiance, Dolores Belderes, his grandchildren, George Armington, Lance Simpson, Jared Armington, Chase Armington, Amie Simpson, and many nieces and nephews.
He was an associate at Mackey Drug Store, Newtown Square, for 40 years.
He attended the College of the Pharmacy for 2 years. He was a charter member of Newtown Square Rotary Club since 1949. He graduated from Lower Merion High School in 1938.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, at Spruce Street Baptist Church, Newtown Square, with Rev. Roland Buccialia officiating. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the church.

Albert W. Magill Sr.

Alice A. Marden
Born Sept. 16, 1924, in Meeker County, MN, a daughter of the late David A. and V. Belle (Klizack) Cloonen.
She attended Bloomsburg University.
During World War II, she was employed as a machinist at an aircraft plant in Milwaukee, WI.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Lewisburg.
She was also a former member of the Union County Board of Assistance.
Her interests include reading, following politics, and collecting antiques.
Surviving are the following children, Bruce J. Marden, and Bonnie S. Mauldin, both of Harrisburg, Jonathan P. Marden, Bradford, NH, and Joleone K. Kinney, Walnutport; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church, Lewisburg.

Charles R. Markel
Born April 30, 1936, in Lewisburg, he was a son of the late Elwood and Carrie (Renn) Markel. His wife, Wanda L. (Lightfoot) Markel, who he married April 30, 1959, survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Richard L. Markel, Enola, and Ronald E. Markel, Mechanicsville, MD; an aunt, Mildred Markel, Shamokin Dam; a cousin, Rudy Markel, Port Trevorton; four grandchildren, Travis, Carrie, Kayla and Amber; a step-granddaughter, Katie; and a great-grandchild.
He was employed by Central Penn Wilbert Vault Co. for over 45 years, retiring October 20, 2002.
He was a life member of City Hook and Ladder and Yeagertown fire companies, and a member of Lewistown Moose Lodge #143, Eagles Lodge, Burnham, and Atkinson's Mills Sportsmen Club.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with Major Eddie Purvis officiating. Interment will be in Lind Memorial Cemetery.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Elizabeth J. Marks
Born March 1, 1923, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Cora (Mertz) Glant. Her husband, Wallace A. Marks, whom she married in 1950, survives.
Also surviving are: two sons, Rodney L. Marks Sr., Reedsville, and Keith L. Marks, 525 E. Walnut St., Lewistown; and five grandchildren.

Forrest John Marks
Born April 21, 1947, he was a son of the late, Marshall Marks and June Z. Fields.
Surviving are: three sisters, Marsha B. Hammon, Orbisonia, Mrs. Deborah Brower and husband Tim, and Mrs. Regina G. Gillam and husband Harry, all of Lewistown.
His memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Cooks, Cemetery, Cooks.
David G. Martin
Born Dec. 9, 1946, in Clay Township, Lancaster County, he was a son of Martha B. (Good) Martin, Manheim and the late Edwin W. His wife, Sara J. Gehman, whom he married June 10, 1967, survives at home.
Also surviving are: two daughters, Lucille L. and Joleen F. Martin, both of Potters Mills; a sister, Mary Ellen Burkholder, Spring Mills; three brothers, Marlin G. Martin, Fredericksburg, Mervin G. Martin, Pelham, GA and Samuel R. Martin, Bethel.

He attended First Baptist Church, Bellefonte and was a member of the Ag Forum and Holstein Club of Centre County.
He had a deep interest in genealogy and Mennonite history.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Bellefonte, 539 Jacksonville Rd., with Rev. Ron Berrus officiating. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery, Zion.
A visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the church.

Ira W. Martin
Born Aug. 19, 1922, in Armagh Township, he was a son of the late William and Catherine (Bargo) Martin. His wife, Marie E.
