Born July 23, 1915, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of th late George H. and Orpha (Mather) Lewis. Her husband, Robert K. Surviving are: three children, Sarah A. "Sally" Metz, State College, Robert K. "Buck" Metz Jr. and his wife, Sandra S. Metz, Belleville, and John H. Metz and wife Marsha K. Metz, Belleville; six grandchildren, Adam, David, Julie, Martha, and Mike Metz, and Rebecca Dippery; and six great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Lewistown, with Father Ronald Lynch and Deacon Dolores Calhoun officiating. Interment will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Belleville.

Clayton L. Miller
Born May 16, 1916, in Allenport, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Elizabeth (Headings) Miller. Miller, Chambersburg; Mrs. Richard (Mildred) Mayhue, Tyrone; Mrs. Edward (Darlene) Kauffman, RD2 Lewistown; Mrs. Emory (Carol) Covert, Rockhill; Clarence E. Miller, Shirleysburg; Wilda J. Miller, Belleville; and Patty L. Miller, RD1 Mapleton; siblings Chester Miller, Belleville; Leona Taylor, Joseph Miller, both of RD1 Mt. Union; and Mrs. George (Juliet) Culp, Roaring Springs; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

He worked as an auto mechanic at Knepp's Garage before retiring in 1978. He had also been employed by Warrior's Ridge Orchard, Harbison-Walker Refractories in Mt. Union, and the Pennsylvania Railroad.
He was a Protestant by faith.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, September 8, 2003, at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mt. Union, with Pastor Crist Mentzer and Pastor Gordon Ross officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

Dr. Corinne Hess Miller
Born March 17, 1911, in Bloomsburg, the 7th of 9 children born to Clark and Anna Hess.
She graduated from Bloomsburg State College and Palmer College of Chiropractic.
She had a successful practice in Lewistown for 40 years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend.
Surviving are: a daughter, Sharon Foye and her husband George; a grandson, Sean Volland; and a granddaughter, Dana Volland.
Graveside services will be at Hidley Cemetery, Bloomsburg.
Esther G. Miller
Born Jan. 13, 1915, in Mattawana, she was a daughter of the late Grant and Rebecca (Heaster) Boaz. Her husband, Paul E. Surviving are: children, Martha Musser, State College, Stanley E. Miller and wife Caroline, Mt. Union, Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Waite, RD Three Springs, Mrs. Lewis (Betty) Waite, Newton Hamilton, and Donald P. Miller and wife Roseanna, Dry Run; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mt. Union, with Rev. Dan Long officiating. Interment will be in Newton Hamilton Memorial Cemetery.

Kenneth T. Miller
LaVerne E. Miller
LaVerne was born at the family farm in Milanville, PA on Feb. 28, 1909, to Robert Charles and Rose Mae (Connor) Lovelass. She graduated from Damascus High School in 1929 and Elizabethtown College in 1933 with a BS Degree in Secondary Education.
She married William H. Miller on May 20, 1934, beginning her lifelong career as homemaker and Mother. Together the two embraced the lifelong challenge of instilling family values and love to their family. She resided in Honesdale, Beach Lake and Milford, PA for many years before moving to Lewistown, PA, in 1991 to be with her daughter Carol and family.
She was active in the United Methodist Church of Milford for 30 years, 16 of which she served as Treasurer of the United Methodist Women's Association. At the time of her death, she was a member of the Evangel Baptist Church in Lewistown.

LaVerne was a wonderful role model and inspiration to many during her lifetime, including her survivors - a daughter and son-in-law, Carol M. and Ronald A. Moon of Lewistown, PA; a son, William C. Miller of Stuart, FL; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert W. and Brigitte E. Miller of Polson, MT; a son Gary D. Miller of Englewood, FL; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and a niece and husband, Marilyn E. and Richard L. Rodenburg of Denver, CO.
Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at the Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2003, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Darrell Wireman officiating. Interment will be in Milford Cemetery, Milford, PA, on Friday, April 18, 2003 at 11 a.m.
The Family will provide flowers and suggests memorials be made to the Evangel Baptist Church, 375 W. 5th Street, Lewistown, PA 17044 or to Hospice: The Bridge, 400 Highland Ave., Lewistown, PA 17044.
Mae M. Miller
Born Aug.21, 1920, in Winfield, she was a daughter of the late Russell E. and Bertha V. (Klingler) Reichley. Her husband, Albert K. Malinda Y. Miller
Born Jan. 5, 1919, in New Wilmington, she was a daughter of the late Yost D. and Amanda D. (Byler) Mast. Her husband, Joseph D. Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant View Amish Mennonite Church, Belleville, with Bishop David J. Peachey, and Ministers Jesse Lee Spicher and David Byler officiating. Interment will be in Allensville Amish Mennonite Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Ralph E. 'Mooney' Miller
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" (Bard) Miller.
Also surviving are: two sons, Alan and Ralph Miller.
His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Robert D. Health Funeral Home, Mt. Union. Interment will be in the Newton Hamilton Cemetery.
Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until the service Saturday. There will be a Masonic memorial service at 6:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Raymond I. Miller
Born Dec. 12, 1918, in Reedsville, he was a son of the late James and Maude (Fultz) Miller. His wife, Priscilla Mae (Freed) Miller, whom he married on Aug. 10, 1941, survives.
Also surviving are eight children, Mrs. Larry (Sandy) Carolus, Lewistown, Patricia Sweeney and fiance, Ron Thumma, Carlisle, Larry Miller and wife, Roxanne, Milroy, Mrs. Danny (Margaret) Miller, Lewistown, Jane Yetter and fiance, Paul Danfelt, Huntingdon, Mrs. Larry (Bonny) Huffman, Lewistown, Jeffrey Ray Miller, Lewistown, and Joseph Kim Miller and wife, Cynthia, Lewistown; two sisters, Helen Woods, Lewistown, and Jenny Murphy, Carlisle; 26 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Robert P. Miller
Born May 31, 1927, in Mattawana, he was a son of the late Clarence and Della (Miller) Miller. His wife, Mildred E. (Youtzy) Miller, whom he married March 30, 1951, survives.
Also surviving are: two daughters, Carolyn Harlon, and Mrs. Brian (Cindy) Yoder, both of Lewistown; brothers, Lloyd, Merle, and Lester Miller, all of Lewistown RD; a sister Esther McCalips, Ferguson Valley; four grandchildren, Lisa Treaster, Shannon Yetter, Caleb Yoder, and Joshua Yoder; a step-grandson, Todd Harlon; and a great-grandson, Kaden Yetter.

He was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was a member of the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren who loved his family and friends and was an avid hunter and woodworker.
His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren with Rev. Donald E. Peters, Jr., and Rev. Ralph Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Pine Glen Cemetery.

Robert R. Miller
Born Feb. 24, 1937, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Malcolm and Lois (Powell) Miller. His wife, Mary (Mansell) Miller, whom he married May 7, 1955, survives.
Also surviving are: two children, Rhonda Miller, S. Wayne St., Lewistown and Mrs. Robert (Terri) Pearce, Peachwood Ave., Lewistown; two sisters, Patricia Rose, Pleasant Gap and Deloris Miller, Harrisburg; and a grandson, Damian Pearce, NY.
He was a draftsman at Standard Steel for 13 years. He did drafting and documentation at Echo for 13 years.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family with Thomas Gross officiating. Interment will be in St. Mark's Episcopal Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
Barr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
