He was 84 years old. Piet was born August 12, 1919 in Wormerveer, Holland, son of the late Laurentius Verburgt and the late Cornelia Verburgt (nee - DeGoijer).
He is the beloved husband of Carmela J. Verburgt; father of Peter Verburgt; grandfather of Anne Christine Verburgt; brother of Johanna Jansen.
Piet served in the Royal Dutch Navy Submarine Service before emigrating to the United States in 1943.
He met his wife in December 1943 shortly after his submarine arrived in Philadelphia. Piet was a twenty-five year employee of Sandmeyer Steel Company.
Relatives and friends were invited to call Tuesday, January 13, 2004, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. and to his memorial mass at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 236 East Main Street, Maple Shade. Interment was private.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Maple Shade First Aid, 44 South Maple Avenue, Maple Shade, NJ 08052.
Joseph Hoenisch

He was 92 years old. Joseph was born August 19, 1909 in Filipowaer, Austria-Hungary, son of the late Valentin Hönisch and the late Magdalena Hönisch (nee - Leh).
He is the beloved husband of Theresia Hoenisch ( nee - Leinbeck ); Father of Renate Brenner and Stefan Hoenisch; Brother of Hans Hoenisch. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and his eleven great grandchildren.
Joseph was born and raised in Austria-Hungary and emigrated to the United States in 1952. He worked as a punch press operator for Laneko Manufacturing Company during his working career in the United States. He and his wife were long time residents of Alcott Street in the Lawndale section of Philadelphia and were members of the St. William Roman Catholic Church.

David Tarnef

He was 78 years old. David was born January 12, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Harry Tarnef and the late Rebecca Tarnef (nee - Kushner).
He is the beloved husband of the late Joanne Tarnef; brother of Joseph Tarnef.
David was born, raised and educated in Philadelphia. He served in the United States Army during World War II in the American and Asiatic Pacific Theaters, reaching the rank of Sergeant. After the war he worked in the garment industry as a cutter and was retired for a number of years. He was formerly of the 1200 block of Englewood Street in Philadelphia.
Relatives and friends were invited to his graveside service Monday, October 18, 2004, at 12:00 Noon at Hillside Cemetery, 2156 Susquehanna Road, Roslyn, PA.

She is the beloved mother of Robert Lanetti and his wife Diane, Jack Lanetti and his wife Janet, Michael Lanetti, Eileen Sattelmyer and her husband Robert and Donald Pettit. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Mary worked as a rental agent for the Petoni Apartments from 1965 until 1973.
Relatives and friends were invited to call Monday, October 14, 2002, from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge and Tuesday, October 15, 2002, from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home. Relatives and friends were invited to her funeral mass Tuesday, October 15, 2002, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem followed the funeral mass.

Marie was born and raised in Philadelphia and attended Kensington High School. She worked for many years as an office clerk for Strawbridge and Clothier Department Store.
Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing Friday, October 15, 2004, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. and to her funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel of the Philadelphia Protestant Home, 6500 Tabor Road, Philadelphia. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Stenton Avenue & Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting followed the funeral service.

Carl was born and raised in Philadelphia and attended Dobbins Technical High School and Palmer Business School. He served in the United States Navy during World War Two. He was a commercial artist and was in the Art Department of the Petrie Stores, Inc. during his working career.
Services and interment will be private at the family's request.

Joseph was a Corporal in the United States Army during World War II. He served in the 216th Anti Aircraft Artillery, Gun Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division. He also served in the 644th Tank Destroyer Battalion, 8th Infantry Division. He fought in Normandy, Northern France, the Rhieneland and the Ardennes. His decorations included a Purple Heart with 1 Cluster for injuries sustained in France in August of 1944 and in Germany in March of 1945, as well as an EAME Theater Service Medal with 5 Bronze stars.
Relatives and friends were invited to his Funeral Mass Thursday, October 18, 2001, at 10:30 A.M. at Presentation B. V. M. Church, 100 Old Soldiers Road, Cheltenham. Relatives and friends were invited to call Thursday, October 18, 2001, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M.at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 6902 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham followed the Funeral Mass.
