Born June 10, 1969 in Lewistown, he was a son of Thomas C. Benfer Sr., Lewistown and Diane L. Jones, Milroy.
Also surviving are: sisters, Barbara Caruso, St. Lucie, FL and Holly Benfer, Heather Benfer and Denise Sherlock, all of Lewistown; and a brother, Ray A. Hannon, Lewistown.
He was a plumber by trade.
A memorial service was held Wednesday at the All County Funeral Home and Crematory, Stuart, FL.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Joseph Marlin Kilmer
MCLEAN, VA - Joseph Marlin Kilmer, 86, of 7008 Tyndale St., McLean, VA and formerly of Port Royal, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">died at 4 a.m. Thursday, March 25, 2004 at Fairfax Hospital, Fairfax, VA.
Born May 31, 1917 in Turbett Township, Juniata County, he was a son of the late Charles Victor and Ruth Parthena (Weaver) Kilmer. His wife, Hermia Jean (Zimmerman) Kilmer, of 7008 Tyndale St., McLean, VA, survives.
Also surviving are: children Joseph Marlin Kilmer Jr. and wife Sally, R.R.2 Port Royal, Donald Stephen Kilmer and wife Pam, Waia’lau, HI, Charles Albert Kilmer, McLean, VA, John William Kilmer and wife Lisa, Kokomo, IN and Mrs. Art (Jeannie Lynne) Shenk, Mrs. Kumu (Donna) Dreier and Mrs. Bennie (Linda) Jones, all of Gaithersburg, MD; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Isabelle) Davis, Lancaster and Mrs. William (Miriam) Flaherty, Mountville; and 16 grandchildren.

He graduated from Port Royal High School in 1937 and attended Maryville College in Tennessee before WWII. He received a B.A. from San Francisco State College in 1952.
He was a veteran of the WWII Pacific Theater and the Korean War. He retired in 1970 as a Lt. Col. after 30 years in the Army.
He divided his retirement years between his home in McLean, VA and the farm where he was raised outside of Port Royal.
He met his future wife, H. Jean Zimmerman from Marshall, NC before WWII at Maryville College and married her in 1946.
He was a member of the Lewinsville Presbyterian Church, McLean, VA.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Rex Funeral Home, 308 Market St., Port Royal with Rev. David A. Cook officiating. Interment will be in New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal. Full military graveside services will be conducted by the Juniata County Veterans Council.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. until the time of service Sunday at the Rex Funeral Home.
Donald L. Dickson

Born May 30, 1927 in Mifflin County, he was a son of the late Elmer M. and Doris E. (Miller) Dickson. Spearing, and her fiance, Jack Steinbach, Muncy; step-daughters Ruth Langstaff, Binghamton, NY and Sue Gearhart, Lewistown; siblings Lillian Cutler and Paul Dickson, both of Lewistown, and Mrs. Russell (Ethel) Specht, McVeytown; grandchildren Derek and Ashley Spearing, Muncy and Anthony D. Zannino and wife Jennifer, Pittsburgh; and six step-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown with Rev. Darvin Donahey officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home.

She is survived by two sisters, Melda Leister, Lewistown and Pauline Trego, William Penn Nursing Home..

She was a member of Samuels UCC Church, RR1 McClure. She retired from the former Kirby Manufacturing in 1975 after 46 years as a seamstress. She enjoyed puzzles, wildlife, embroidery and outdoor work, especially gardening.
Funeral services will be held. 11:00 a.m. Monday at Samuel’s Church.
The family will receive friends in the church from 10:00 a.m. till the time of service. Interment will be in the Samuel’s Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Aurand Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St. Beavertown.
Sadie M. Yocum

Born Oct. 28, 1921 in McClure, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Erma (Kinney) Rheam. Her husband, Walter E. She was the last of her immediate family.

She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Early in life she was a member of the Maple Grove Mennonite Church.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lind Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Gerald A. Krum officiating.

Born Sept. 13, 1929 in Southfork, she was a daughter of the late James and Anna Rose Davison. Her husband, Russ Kranzfelder, survives.
Also surviving are: children Teresa Ann Desiderati, OR, James Desiderati, PA, Betty Lou Richardson, WA, and Lisa Fentnor and James Krenzfelder, both of AZ; siblings Sara Mendler, Lewistown and Bill Davison, DE; and 12 grandchildren.

Clarissa D. (Lepley) Wray
MCCLURE - Clarissa D. She was born on March 3, 1924, a daughter of the late Alvin “Kep” and Viola (Dean) Lepley. In 1943, she married Leroy Wray, who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Gwendolyn M. Sabol, Pottstown; Doris I. Wray, at home, Gordon L. Wray, Douglassville and Ruth Ann Wray, at home; three grandchildren, Barbara, Erica and Jason; four great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Wilbur, and Hayle.
She attended Samuels Church, earlier in life. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, flowers and homemaking.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Aurand Funeral Home 316 W. Market St. Beavertown by Rev. C. Richard Beach. Interment will be in the McClure Union Cemetery.
Friends may call in the funeral home Friday from 4-9 p.m., where the family will be present from 7-9 p.m.

Darl H. Heller
BRADENTON, FL - Darl H. Heller, 77, of 4929 Club View Court East, Bradenton, FL 34203 and 200 N. Born Nov. 6, 1926 in New Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Winn B. and Bernice (Minich) Heller. His wife of 53 years, Patricia A. (McCall) Heller, survives.
Also surviving are: children Mrs. David (Beth) Heller-Crimmins, suburban Philadelphia and Mrs. Charles (Susan) Heller-Rusbasan, Surrey, England; a sister, Joann Baudoux, Mechanicsburg; and four grandchildren, Carol and Philip Crimmins, suburban Philadelphia and Maxine and John Rusbasan, Surrey, England.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII.
He graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, class of 1948.
He was the former owner and operator of Heller’s Funeral Homes in Lewistown and Burnham from 1950-1991 and part owner of the Koch Funeral Home in State College.
He was a member of the Lewistown Presbyterian Church in Lewistown where he served as elder.
He was a board member and former chairman of the board of directors at the Russell National Bank in Lewistown, a member of the Lewistown Country Club; St. Petersburg, PA Masonic Lodge; Jaffa Shrine of Altoona; University Club; Lewistown Lions Club; and the Lewistown Rotary Club.
He was active in the Mifflin/Juniata County United Way.
He was also a board member for the Mifflin County Industrial Development Corporation.
A memorial service will be held in late June of 2004 when Mrs. Heller returns to Lewistown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
