Born in Lewistown, Zelda is the daughter of Edna R. (Mann) Foster, Carlisle, and the late Walter A. Foster. Zelda lived in Lewistown until moving to Harrisburg in 1949.

Bouder and his wife Judy, Liverpool; eight grandchildren, Niki F. Adams, Stephanie Shaefer, Tomi Bouder, Jared Bouder, Daniel Bouder, John Bouder, James Bouder and the late Timothy Bouder; one great-grandson, Bradyne Bouder; and best friend Barb Hall.

She was devoted to her family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held in James F. Stone Funeral Home, Inc., 112 North Harrisburg Street, Steelton, on Wednesday, June 15 at noon. The Rev. Robert T. Gray, Jr. will be officiating.
Interment will follow in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin. Visitation will be Tuesday evening 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Sara Stralo

LEWISTOWN - Sara Stralo, 82, of Carson, California, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">died Thursday, May 26, 2005 of complications after heart surgery. Born July 9, 1922 in San Bernardo, Italy, she was a long time resident of Lewistown, Pa.
She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Soccio of Carson, Ca., son Joseph Soccio of Newark, De. his wife, Ruth and three grandsons, Michael, Phillip and Stephen.
Also surviving are: three sisters, Rose Andrews of Houston, Tx., Mary Bolouski of Factoryville, Pa. and Jane Straley of Berlin, Md..
She was employed at both Sacred Heart Rectory and the Sacred Heart School cafeteria. She is remembered by many for her baking skills and for the many wedding, anniversary and birthday cakes she created while living in Lewistown. She moved to California in 1972, where she worked for the L. A. Unified School District until retirement in 1984
A funeral Mass service was held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2005 in Lomita, Ca.
A. M. Gamby Mortuary in Lomita, CA handled the cremation arrangements.

Mabel S. Wert

Born May 26, 1913 in Walker Township, Juniata Co., she was a daughter of the late Harry O. and Margaret (Leidy) Sieber. Her husband, Gerald B. She is survived by her daughter, Rita Zeigler and husband Wayne, of Millerstown; one grandson Jeff Zeigler; one granddaughter, Rene Aukamp and husband Chris; two great-grandchildren Ryan and Rachel Aukamp; and one brother, Ralph Sieber, of Mifflintown.

Her memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18 at Centre Lutheran Church with Rev. Louise Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.

Terry L. Attivo

Born March 31, 1946 in Lewistown to Hilda (Botteicher) Attivo, of 436 South Grand St., Lewistown and the late Albert V. He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Osborne) Attivo whom he married on July 31, 1969.
Also surviving are two children, Kelly L. Plank and husband Dan, Burnham and Marc V. Attivo and wife Erin, Lebanon; a sister, Mary Ann Shifflet, Harrisburg; and one granddaughter, Brittany Allison.
He graduated in 1964 from Chief Logan High School and from Bloomsburg State University in 1968. He received a Masters in education from Shippensburg University.
He was an elementary school teacher for 25 years at the Mt. Union School District before he retired due to disability and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lewistown.
He was a dedicated teacher, devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a football coach for The Avenue Raiders/Little Mingo's Football team and a Pony League Baseball coach. He was also an avid Steeler and Pirate Fan.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Third and Dorcus streets with the Rev. Bernard Oniwee officiating.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday June 14 at the Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, First Avenue, Burnham.
Interment will be at the Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 3544 North Progress Ave., Suite 202, Harrisburg, Pa. 17110.

Margaret C. Miller

GRANVILLE - Margaret C. Born Feb. 25, 1918, in Pitcairn, Pa., she was the daughter of James and Jean (Barr) Crompton.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Marietta Circle Sunday school for over 50 years.
She enjoyed her church, Penn State Football, and her entire family.
Her funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday May 16 at the Heller-Hoestine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 North Main St. Lewistown with the Rev. Karen McCachren officiating. Her private interment will be at the Mt. Rock Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday May 16 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the First United Methodist Church, 200 East Third St., Lewistown Pa. 17044 or the Alzheimer's Association, 2001 North Front St., Harrisburg 17102.

Betty H. Barton

Born Dec. 4, 1922, Mexico, Juniata County, a daughter of the late Earl F. and Jean M. (McBurney) Hack, Sr. Her husband of 59 years, Robert E. Barton, Sr., whom she married on Feb. 23, 1946, survives.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter, Betty Jean and husband Donald 'Duck' Gilliland, RR 3 Mifflintown, two sons, Robert E. Barton, Jr. and wife Linda, Oakland Mills, Barry L. Barton, RR 2 Mifflintown, and one daughter-in-law, Kathy Barton, Bloomsburg, one brother, Robert G. Hack, RR 3 Mifflintown, one sister, Catherine H. Smith, Mechanicsburg, one granddaughter, her 'pride and joy' Lindsay Barton, two step grandchildren, Dennis Nace, Jr. and Stephanie Maldonado, and two step-great grandchildren, Jason Nace and Jordan Malonado.

She was a 1941 graduate with honors from Juniata Joint High School, Mifflintown.
In earlier life, she and her sister Catherine were well known musical performers, traveling the East Coast as the 'Hack Sisters'. Later she became a homemaker as well as the bookkeeper for Barton's Auto Sales, Oakland MIlls.
She was a lifetime member of the Mexico United Presbyterian Church, where she served as an elder and sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Juniata County Choir, the Juniata County Historical Society, and the American Legion Post #298 Ladies Auxiliary, Mifflintown.
Her main interests were her family and her church. She also enjoyed word-searches and watching game shows.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2005, from the Brown Funeral Homes Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with the Rev. Carol Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Adam's Cemetery RR 4, Mifflintown.
Viewing will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2005 at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Mexico United Presbyterian Church, care of the Building Fund, P.O. Box 387, Port Royal, Pa. 17082.

William C. Stence Sr.

Born May 15, 1949, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Raymond L. 'Birdie' and Elizabeth (Tallon) Stence Yetter, of Lewistown. He is also survived by his stepmother Jane E. (Wilson) Stence, of Reedsville. His wife, Shirley (Haines) Stence, whom he married on Oct. 15, 1970, survives.
Also surviving are his four children, Melissa Hall, Mifflintown, Holly Jo Spittler and her husband Adam, Pine Grove, William C. Stence Jr., Mifflintown, and Kristi Stence, Lewistown, his two siblings, Andrew J. Stence, Lewistown and Betty Lou Burd, Lewistown, and six grandchildren.
He was a 1967 graduate of Lewistown High School, and retired due to disability from Norfolk-Southern Railroad in 2004 after 30 years of service.
He served in the U.S. Navy,1967-1969.
His funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday May 19 at Hoenstine Funeral Home 75 Logan St., Lewistown with the Rev. Leon Clayberger officiating. Interment will be in the Juniata Memorial Park.
Viewing will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday May 18 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 26 North Brown St. Lewistown, Pa. 17044.

Margaret E. Bender

Her husband, Thomas Bender, Sr., who she married in 1946, survives.
She is also survived by 15 children, Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Toler, West Virginia, Thomas Bender, Jr., Lewistown, Donald Bender, Lewistown, Ronald Bender, Mifflintown, Mrs. Michael (Mary) Dippery, Lewistown, Ferris Bender, Lewistown, Mrs. Albert (Deborah) Tipton, Lewistown, Mrs. Lamar (Kathy) Fetterman, Lewistown, Mrs. Carl (Susan) King, Lewistown, Wendy Bender, Lewistown, William Bender, Lewistown, Samuel Bender, Lewistown, Tami Bender, Lewistown, Jeffery Bender, Lewistown, and Mrs. Edward (Pamela) Stimely, McVeytown as well as 26 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are her brother Harry Stone, of California, and sister Shirley Bell, of Carlisle.

She is remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was well known for her good cooking.
She also loved her dogs Pam and Poot.
Her memorial service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2005, at the Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St. Lewistown with Major Herbert Hamilton officiating. Her interment will be at the Juniata Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17.
Memorial contributions can be made to Davita Inc., 611 Electric Ave., Lewistown, Pa. 17044.

William J. Kitting

He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Moyer) Kitting; daughters Theresa Kitting, Lykens, Marcella Roady, Williamstown and Tammy O'Donnell, Harrisburg; a step-son Ralph Moyer, Williamstown; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Esther Packer, Lewistown, and brothers David Kitting and Kenneth Kitting Windber.

Jane E. 'Janie' Druckemiller

She is survived by her husband, Glen A. Druckemiller Sr., whom she married on Nov. 14, 1966, and her step-mother, Ruth Harshbarger.
Also surviving are: three children, Mrs. Nicolas (Angela) Yetter, Mr. Glen A. 'Sam' Druckemiller Jr. and companion Tami L. Wert, and Mrs. John (Jody) Stover, all of New Lancaster Valley; five siblings, Mrs. William (Judy) Corson, David Harshbarger, Christine Spearing, Mrs. Rick (Linda) Yeater, all of Lewistown, and Randy Harshbarger, McVeytown; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

She was a homemaker.

The first woman president of Decatur Fire Co., she was in charge of bingo and was an avid bingo player.
She enjoyed watching her grandchildren show 4-H animals and spending time with family and friends.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Salem United Methodist Church, New Lancaster Valley, with the Rev. Ralph Wilson and Mr. Jeffrey Buch officiating. Interment will be in New Lancaster Valley Cemetery.
Friends and family may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
