He was 79 years old. Calvin was born September 7, 1924 in Ardsley, Pennsylvania, son of the late Herman W. Schenkel and Florence Schenkel (nee - Kraft).
He is the devoted father of Calvin Schenkel of Willow Grove; grandfather of Raven Fleps of California; brother of Nancy Norton of Willow Grove and the late Werner and Ernast Schenkel and Florence Lambert
Calvin was a W.W.II Veteran - U.S.Army. He retired from the Abington School District.
Services and interment were private at the family’s request.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

She is the beloved wife of the late Alfred P. Hornung; mother of Thomas C. Uhlein; aunt of Joseph E. Uhlein, May Jacob and Joan McCormick; also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Marie was a member of St. William’s Senior Citizens and Lawncrest Golden Age.
Relatives and friends were invited to call Tuesday, October 29, 2002, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 6902 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia. Relatives and friends were invited to her funeral mass Tuesday, October 29, 2002, at 10:30 A.M. at St. William’s R. C. Church, 6200 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham followed the funeral mass.

She is the beloved wife of the late James C. Amos; mother of Nancy Tonnesen and her husband Edward, Susan O’Donnell and her husband James, James C. Amos and his wife Diane and the late Carol Snyder. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren and by her nineteen great grandchildren.
Betty was born in Palmyra, New Jersey and was raised in Philadelphia, graduating from William Penn High School. She is formerly of the 6400 block of North 11th Street in Philadelphia where she lived for sixty six years.
Relatives and friends were invited to call Thursday, October 24, 2002, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 6902 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia and Friday, October 25, 2002, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home. Relatives and friends were invited to her funeral service Friday, October 25, 2002, at 10:30 A.M. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 6301 Crescentville Road, Philadelphia. Interment at Lawnview Cemetery in Rockledge followed the funeral service.

She was born and raised in Philadelphia and graduated from St. Basil's Academy. She attended New York University, Temple University, the University of Maryland and Gwynedd Mercy College. Halyna was a mortgage administrator for GMAC Commercial Mortgage Company during her working career.

Relatives and friends were invited to her Devine Liturgy Saturday, October 27, 2001, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Interment at Oakland Cemetery in Philadelphia followed the Funeral Service.

Robert E. Tropea
Robert E. He is the former husband of Mary Bonder Tropea; Father of Deanna Tropea (Tremer) and Lorraine Hahn and her husband Alfred; Grandfather of Lisa Verani, Jeffrey Hahn, Jennifer Linwood and Shana Perry. He is also survived by his seven great grandchildren.
Robert was born and raised in Philadelphia, graduating from the Philadelphia Normal School, attending Temple University and receiving his Masters Degree from the University Of Pennsylvania. He was an elementary school teacher in the Philadelphia Public School system, taught Spanish at Olney High School and was a principal at the Read School, the Watson Comly School, the Jacobs School and the Shawmont School. He wrote and produced numerous plays for children during his professional career. He retired as a teacher and administrator in 1976. He was a member of the Sons of Italy Lodge.

Bruce was a Technical Writer for Fischer and Porter for 28 years retiring in 1985. He was a Machinists Mate Second Class on the USS Cascade in the US Navy During World War II serving in the Pacific Theater. He enjoyed working with his hands, making furniture and helping with family construction projects.

Baca of Jacksonville, FL, Cyndi Clark of Dallas, TX, Adam S. and Evan J. Clark both of Hatboro. She is the Great-Aunt of Christian A. and Kevin E. Baca also of Jacksonville, FL.
Judy had been employed by NMS and was a graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School and Mansfield State College. She was a resident of Warminster for 21 years and was formerly of Horsham. Judy was a compassionate soul who loved animals. Besides caring for her own pets, she would befriend strays in the neighborhood, leaving out food and water, caring for them as if they were her own. Judy was an active member of Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church. She was a past member of the New Coalition, a youth singing group of the church, who recently held a reunion that she attended and thoroughly enjoyed.

He worked for A.T.& T. for 35 years, retiring in 1983 when he started his own company, A.W.V. Associates, that he ran until 1993. Mr. Vander Leeuw was a member of the William L. Elkins Lodge No. 271 F.& A.M.
