Born in Milford Twsp., he was the son of the late Frank S. & Sallie R. (Rosenberger) Ackerman.
He and his wife owned and operated the former Ackerman's Self Service Grocery in Trumbauersville before retiring.
He was a charter member of the Trumbauersville Lions Club and a lifelong Philadelphia Phillies fan.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Spinnerstown.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons Ralph George Ackerman and his wife Miriam (Mim) of Bethel, PA and Robert Stephen Ackerman and his wife Mary of Quakertown. A brother Leroy Ackerman and his wife Dorothy of Gilbertsville. A sister Naomi wife of Daniel Gohlke of Newark, Delaware. Two grandchildren Jesse Ackerman and his wife Karen of Kintnersville, PA and Barry J. Ackerman and his wife Kelly of Womelsdorf, PA. A great granddaughter Kayla Ackerman. He was predeceased by a brother Lloyd Ackerman.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 1:30 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Thursday 12:30-1:30 P.M. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church P.O. Box 129, Spinnerstown, PA 18968.
Hattie H. Christman
She was a seamstress for the former Shoemakers Clothing Factory before her retirement.
Born in Spinnerstown she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sallie (Hendricks) Christman.
She was a member of the Quakertown United Methodist Church. Hattie was also a member of the United Methodist Women and a former Sunday school teacher.
There are no immediate survivors.
Services will be held on Wednesday August 10, at 11:00 a.m. at the Quakertown United Methodist Church 1875 Friar Rd. Quakertown, Pa. 18951. Call on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Barbara J. Brauer
She was the Vice President of C&R Electric Inc. in Quakertown.
Born in Abington she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Doris (Sanderson) Weber.
Barbara was a member of the Keelersville Club Ladies Auxiliary and the Ottsville Fire Department Auxiliary.
On October 5, 1995 she donated a kidney to her son Roger.
In addition to her husband Charlie she is survived by her son Roger Bahnck, Jr. and his wife Tara of Ottsville. Two brothers Joseph Weber and his wife Alberta of Fruitland Park, Fl. and Walter Weber and his wife Sandy of Kintnersville. A sister Mary Anne Hoffman and her husband Eugene of Coopersburg. Two grandchildren Tanner Roger Bahnck and Tori Lynn Bahnck. Two nephews Justin and Brandon Weber. She was predeceased by a daughter Lori Anne Bahnck and a nephew David Weber.
Services will be held on Tuesday August 9, at 2:30 p.m. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, Pa. 18951. Call on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Joseph F. "Joe" Berkelback, Jr.
Born in Philadelphia he was the son of Gladys A. (Leary) of Tylersport and the late Joseph F. He worked in the stock room at Penn Engineering Motion Technologies in Harleysville.
He was a Philadelphia Teams Sports Enthusiast and enjoyed body building and weight training. He also played ice hockey and street hockey.
In addition to his mother he is survived by a daughter Britney Jo of Trumbauersville. Three sisters Linda L. wife of Karl Croissette of Perkasie, Gladys A. Petrello of Quakertown and Katherine wife of Craig Berrier of Alburtis. A loving friend Linda Graf of Sellersville. Two nephews, six nieces, and three great nieces.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at 2:30 P.M. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Saturday 1:00-2:30 P.M. in the funeral home.

Jeffrey P. Cordas
Born in Quakertown he was the son of Betty Cordas Kurtz and the late Peter D. Cordas, Sr.
He owned and operated Shining Creations Jewelry.
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Zion Hill.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by a daughter Marcia Cordas of Center Valley. A sister Eva Civitella of Hellertown. Nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Peter.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses 2360 Trolley Bridge Rd., Zion Hill, PA. There will be no calling hours.

Paul Armstrong, Sr.
Born in Scranton he was the son of the late John & Catherine (Kane) Armstrong.
He was a printer for Prudential Insurance Co. in Fort Washington before retiring.
He was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Quakertown.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Paul Jr., and his wife Kathy of Hatboro. Two daughters Margaret Ann wife of Thomas Direnzo of Oreland, PA and Mary Catherine Webber of Allentown. A sister Catherine Redensky of Scranton. Seven grandchildren Melissa, Tara, Keith, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Colleen & Luke. One great grandchild Markell. He was predeceased by four brothers Albert, Martin, John, Thomas and two sisters Marian Thomas & Ann O'Neil.
A mass will be held on Friday, October 14, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Isidore's Catholic Church (new church) 2545 West Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call Friday 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.

Walter V. Albrecht
Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Walter V. & Dorothy (O'Connor) Albrecht.
He retired in 1992 from General Electric as a credit manager after 35 years of service.
He was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Quakertown.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons Vic and his wife Patsy, Michael and his wife Kelli, and a daughter Kathy. Five grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews.
A mass will be held on Monday, October 31, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Isidore's Catholic Church 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown. Call 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.

Martha Afflerbach
Born in Trumbauersville, PA she was the daughter of the late Wallace & Lillie (Rotenberger) Jones.
She was a sewing machine operator before retiring.
She was a member of Christ Church of the United Church of Christ in Trumbauersville where she was a former member of the Women's Guild.
She was a member of the Quakertown Senior Center and a former member of the West End Fire Co. Auxiliary.
She is survived by a daughter Lorraine Faye wife of Leon P. Suida of Quakertown. Two grandchildren Scott Suida and his wife Stephanie and Cindy Suida. Two great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call 9:00-10:00 A.M. in the funeral home.

Walter O. Afflerbach
He was a retired truck driver.
Born in Richlandtown he was the son of the late Amandus and Ellamanda (Bleam) Afflerbach.
In addition to his wife he is survived by four daughters, Louise Teta, Ellen Long, Karen Nichols and Diane Mathis. A sister Virginia Deboer 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Harold W.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Andrew E. Cicon
Born in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Edward & Helen (Stofko) Cicon.
He worked for the former Bethlehem Steel and was a self employed farmer and also drove bus for the Southern Lehigh School District.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Limeport where he was a member of the Holy Name Society.
Andrew was also a member of the Lehigh Valley Dairy Farmers Association.
He is survived by two daughters Connie M. wife of Robert Wieder of Nazareth and Susan C. wife of J. William Yanish of Scottsdale Arizona. A brother Stephen Cicon, Sr. and a sister Helen Wiersch both of Coopersburg. Three grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son John, two brothers Charles and William and a sister Mary Haase.
A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Limeport. Call Wednesday evening 7:00-8:30 P.M. and Thursday morning 8:30-9:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown.

Helen K. DeReiter
Born in Souderton she was the daughter of the late John H. & Mary R. (Shaner) Esser.
She was of Protestant Faith.
She is survived by a son John and his wife Sandra of Sellersville and a daughter Loretta wife of Richard B. Bryan of Quakertown. A granddaughter Cheryl Blackway and her husband Bradley of Warminster.

William A. Adamczyk
Born in Quakertown he was the son of Rachel L. (Hinkle) Adamczyk of Villas, NJ and the late George A. Adamczyk.
He was a service technician for UGI in Allentown. Prior to that he was in various business ventures including owning Country Beverage in Barto.
He enjoyed working out and was a member of Golds Gym in Allentown. He also formerly competed in weight lifting events.
In addition to his mother he is survived by two sons Bart and Shaun C. both of Quakertown. Two brothers George F. of Whitehall and Blake of Bernville. Two sisters Michele J. of Philadelphia and Lauren Longacre of Phoenixville.
Services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call 1:00-2:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
Joan T. Beatty
Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Howard "Pete" & Helen (Donner) Beatty.
She is survived by a cousin William Piorun and his wife Robin of Kintnersville.
