She was the wife of Arthur E. Hoffman. They were married 54 years in October.

Born in Cairo, Illinois she was the daughter of the late Louis Edward & Ruby Louise (Zimmerman) Veneziani.

At one time she was employed by the National Sugar Refinery in Queens, New York.

She was a graduate of Adelphia College in Long Island and a past officer of Kappa Kappa Gamma.

She was a member of the Board of Freedom Foundation of Valley Forge and she was a volunteer for both the American Red Cross and Birthright. She was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Quakertown.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Arthur and a daughter Lou-Ellen Renshaw. Eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Julia-Ann Strobel.

A mass will be held on Monday, January 9, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Isidore's Catholic Church 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown. Call Monday 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.

She was an assembler for the former Philco Ford Co. in Lansdale before her retirement.

Born in Obelisk, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Ganovsky) Ochotny.

She was a former member of the Little Zion Lutheran Church in Telford.

She was also a member of the U.A.W.

She is survived by two daughters Judith E. Smith and husband Robert of Allentown and Kathleen D. Grafton of Quakertown, two sons Howard E. Brandis, Jr. and wife Rosemarie of Quakertown and Phillip J. Brandis and wife Rosemary of Kansas City, MO. A brother Joseph of Ambler and sister Anna Howe of Lansdale. Ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Helen Gebert, one great grandchild and long time companion Jesse Zumstein.

Services will be held on Wednesday January 11, at 1:00 p.m. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, Pa. 18951. Call on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mildred A. Benner
Mildred A. Benner, 94, of 22 S. She was the wife of the late C. Stanley Benner.

Born in Center Valley, PA she was the daughter of the late Ralph & Bessie (Slifer) Weaver.

Mrs. Benner is survived by two sons Larry S. of Quakertown and Richard of Morgan City, LA. Three granddaughters, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Two sisters Lorraine Heckler and Arlene Matzo both of Quakertown.

Paul R. He was a meat cutter for the former B & O Food Market and the former Cassel's Markets both of Quakertown before retiring.

He was a former member of the Grundsow Lodge in Milford Square.

He was a member of the Christ Independent Bible Church in Perkasie.

Paul enjoyed woodworking and gardening.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters Patricia A. wife of Niel McKnight and Beatrice M. wife of Felix Buehner, Jr. both of Perkasie. A sister Ruth Weaver of Quakertown. Six grandchildren Barbara Kreisler, James McKnight, Donald McKnight, Bryan Moyer, Amy Moyer, and Timothy Moyer. Three Great grandchildren Donald McKnight, Jr., Elizabeth Kreisler and Emily Kreisler.

Services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Independent Bible Church, 1830 Ridge Rd. Perkasie Pa. Call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown is in charge of arrangements.

He was an avid NASCAR and Oakland Raiders Fan.

In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers Kevin P. and his wife Debbie and Barry J. and a sister Vicki wife of Terry Batcsics all of Quakertown. Maternal grandmother Margie Seaman of Coopersburg. Three nephews Jamie, Cody, and Eric. Three nieces Erica, Lynnsey, and Taylor. His godparents Richard and Joan Koenig of Coopersburg.

Services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call 9:30-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.

Rev. Ruth P. Born in Buffalo, New York she was the daughter of the late John Robert & Bertha (Gaiewski) Wood.

She was a retired teacher for the PA School for the Deaf in Philadelphia.

She was also a Reverend and member of St. Johns Church of Faith in Allentown and a member of the World Wide Evangelicazation Crusade. She was on the staff of Houghton College in New York, and a captain in the Civil Air Patrol Public Affairs

In addition to her companion she is survived by a daughter Judith S. wife of Jeffrey L. Hocker of Quakertown. A grandchild Dorian S. Custodia and his wife Rebecca. Four great grandchildren Julian, Tonja, Carlina, and Wanda.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.

Betty B. She is survived by two sons Paul R. Sell and his wife Donna of Hellertown, Barry J. Delikat and his wife Linda of Perkasie. Two daughters Joanne E. wife of Edward Leber of Quakertown and Susan D. wife of Timothy Sawtelle of Lake Harmony, Pa. Two brothers Paul Nice and William Nice. Three sisters Mary B. Levy, Ella Schaffer, and Tuddy Janiszewski. 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a grandchild.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Thursday 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.

Survived by a son Charles and his wife Rosalinda. A sister Kathryn Fox. 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Ellen R. Crist
Ellen R. She enjoyed fishing, baking, and playing Bingo.

She is survived by her children Esther Klotz, John Crist, Betty French, Dolores Frei, Linda Kalmar, Dorothy Soderback, and Kathleen Fox. Two sisters Lizzy Stuber and Mary Frank. 32 grandchildren, 94 great grandchildren, and 47 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Shirley Vargo a grandchild and a great grandchild.

Services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Springfield Church of the Brethren 920 E. Passer Rd., Coopersburg, PA 18036. Call 9:00-11:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.

A mass will be held on Wednesday May 24, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Isidore's Catholic Church 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown, Pa. 18951. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday evening May 23, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, Pa. 18951 and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the church.

Dorothy A. Benner
Dorothy A. She was a seamstress for various clothing mills in the upper Bucks County area before her retirement.

Born in Geryville she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Bessie (Rothrock) Wimmer.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church Ridge Valley.

She is survived by a daughter Barbara A. wife of Lester F. Althouse, Jr. of Fogelsville and a son Harold W. of Mehoopany, Pa. A sister Edith Mumbauer of East Greenville. Three grandchildren Harold J. and his wife Nicole A. of Quakertown, Brenda of Alameda, CA. and Stephen Althouse of Fogelsville. Two great grandchildren Colby and Parker.

Services will be held on Wednesday May 31, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church Ridge Valley, 1207 Allentown Rd. Sellersville Pa. 18960 Call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Helen T. Brown
Helen T. Brown went home to be with her Lord on June 1, 2006 surrounded by her family and close friends.

In her early 20's she went to Florida where she met her beloved husband Oliver C. Brown who preceded her in death on October 14, 1985. After living in Florida first in Hialeah then in Sebastian for over 60 years. Helen known as "Teta" came north to be near her sister Katie Myers of Quakertown.

Teta lived with her niece for the last seven years where she shared her life experiences with children of all ages.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, especially Pretty, Charlie, and Suzie.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ric Baxter and the Hospice nurses of St. Luke's Hospice.

Services will be private. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers a mass cards and prayers are appreciated.

Charlotte Mae Trumbauer

She was the wife of the late Elmer J. Trumbauer, Jr.

Born in Warminster, she was the daughter of the late Harold & Charlotte (Hacker) Rosenberger.

Charlotte was recognized for her extensive involvement in organizing and participating in the volunteer program of the former Quakertown Community Hospital. Prior to obtaining her BS in teaching from Kutztown University, Charlotte worked in several one room school houses. She later retired form the Quakertown Community School District after teaching for 36 years and enjoyed many years traveling abroad.

She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Quakertown.

Surviving are a son Wayne J. and his wife Linda of Allentown; a daughter Marlene E. Hengey of Quakertown and her husband Richard; a sister Mary Weber of Florida; three grandchildren - Sarah, Lisa, and Brian; two great grandchildren - Stephanie and Ariel.

Services will be held on Friday, July 7, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Friday 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.

Richard B. Bryan
Richard B. Born in Doylestown he was the son of the late Warren & Rachel (Buehrle) Bryan.

He retired from the United States Postal Service after working as a mail carrier for the Quakertown Branch. After his retirement he worked for the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Quakertown for many years.

He was a member of Trinity Great Swamp U.C.C. in Spinnerstown.

Dick was a proud Veteran serving during WW II.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons Larry and his wife Rosemary of Mansfield, PA and Gordon and his wife Diane of Milford Square. A brother Robert of Trumbauersville. Four grandchildren Amy, Laurie, Sarah, and Emily.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.
