Dwight was a graduate of Quakertown Community High School, Bucks County Community College and Mississippi College with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in social work. He was a social worker in the Boston, MA area for many years and recently retired from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Newtons in Newton Centre, MA where a celebration of Dwight's life was held on Friday, October 26th. Interment will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Union Cemetery, Trumbauersville. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.
Claude M. Barnes
Born in Telford he was the son of the late Claude and Florence (Hendricks) Barnes.
He was a machinist for the US Gauge Ametek Division in Sellersville before his retirement in 1989. He was a member of St. Michaels Lutheran Church in Sellersville.
Claude was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the Sellersville American Legion and VFW.
He is survived by a son Claude R. and his wife Susan of Haycock Township, four daughters, Linda C. wife of Joseph Herr of Northampton, Darlene K. wife of Frank Scholes of Quakertown, Cecilia M. wife of Robert Barlow of Canton and Tina M. wife of Andrew Young of Haycock Township. A sister Elaine Ewashko of Quakertown. Eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Monday October 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michaels Lutheran Church 25 E. Church Rd. Sellersville, PA 18960. No calling hours.
Memorial contributions can be made to a Hospice Association of ones choice.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 West Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
J. Elbert Stump
Born in Bedminster Twp., he was the son of the late Edgar and Katie (Hessler) Stump.
He retired in 1984 as a PA licensed blaster. Prior to that he was a self-employed carpenter. He was also a part-time farmer.
He was a member of the Bux-Mont Two Cylinder Tractor Club of Blooming Glen and a member of the Tylersport and Dublin Grundsow Lodges. Elbert was also a past member of the Rough and Tumble Historical Society in Kinzers, PA.
He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Sellersville and a former member of St. Peters Tohickon U.C.C. in Perkasie.
He is survived by two sons Harold E. and his wife Joan of Telford, Steve and his wife Lois of Palmyra, PA. Three daughters Shirley Evans and her husband Barry of Harleysville, Rev. Dorothy E. Shelly and her husband Bruce of Telford, and Kathy Moyer and her husband Ronald of Aberdeen, MD. A sister Betty Tarantino of Red Hill. Nine grandchildren Wayne Stump, Debra Stott, Donna Shelly, Karen Barbrow, Andrew Stump, Brian Stump, Justin Moyer, Thomas Moyer, and Ashley Moyer. Three great grandchildren Amanda Stump, Hannah Stump, and Kennedy Shelly. He was predeceased by a brother Edgar Durrell Stump and a sister Elsie Barthlomew.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 1:30 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Friday evening 7:00-8:30 P.M. and Saturday 12:30-1:30 P.M. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Foudation 150 Monument Rd., Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
Pauline L. Hillegas
She retired from Allegany Ribbon Mill in Quakertown.
She is survived by a son Erwin C. Hillegas, Jr. and his wife Beverly of Sellersville. Two grandchildren Christy and Nicole. Four great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Aubree, Taylor, and Tyler. She was predeceased by a daughter Shirley Mae Hillegas.
Services will be held on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Monday 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to a charity of one's choice.
Victoria A. Kosh
Born in Quakertown she was the daughter of Delora (Triboletti) Zagorny of Quakertown and the late Michael J. Zagorny.
She was last employed as an office manager for a physicians office.
Victoria enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends and enjoyed her family especially her grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by two sons James M., Jr. and his wife Michele of Quakertown and Jeffery M. and his wife Kristi of Pottstown. Three grandchildren Eric, Alexis, Sophia.
A mass will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Agnes Catholic Church 445 N. Main St. Sellerville. Call Tuesday 9:00-10:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorials in the form of Mass Cards would be appreciated.
D. Joyce Vey Albeser
Born in Blue Bell she was the daughter of the late Cresson and Dorothy (Metz) Zimmerman.
Before her retirement she was the Executive Secretary for the Bucks County Republican Committee serving for over 20 years.
She was also active with the Republican Party serving as Committee Women.
Joyce enjoyed traveling throughout the US and abroad. She also enjoyed gardening and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons J. Chris Vey and his wife Delia and Jeffrey A. Vey and his wife Linda, both of Milford Township. A brother Robert Zimmerman of Conshohocken and a sister Betty Collier of Ft. Myers, FL. Five grandchildren Greg, Keith, Carla, Jessica and Julia. She was predeceased by three sisters and a brother.
Services will be held on Wednesday November 7, at 11:00 a.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
Betty S. Kline
Born in Pennsburg, she was the daughter of the late Lydia Kneule.
Prior to her retirement, Betty began working for the former Bell Telephone and later as a credit manager for Sears and the former W.T. Grants in Quakertown.
Her quiet times were spent doing jigsaw puzzles and playing board games with her family.
She will forever be remembered as a dedicated, loving, wife and mother.
Betty was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Quakertown.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Earl, Jr., Phoenixville, and his fiancée Cheryl Desmond; a daughter Susan Meas and her husband Daniel, New Albany, and a grandson, Derek.
Services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Wednesday 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.

John F. Holzerman
Born in Coopersburg, he was the son of the late Frederick & Leila (Rosenberger) Holzerman.
Prior to his retirement, John was employed by Turbo Machine Co. in Lansdale and the Neptune Pump Co. in Montgomeryville. John served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was member of the Sellersville VFW Forrest Lodge Post 245. He was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansdale.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters - Kathleen A. Fenimore of Lansdale and Nancy E. Reinford and her husband William of Telford; four brothers - Kenneth, Charles, Robert, and Donald; two sisters - Catherine Holzerman and Ruth Maher; and three grandchildren - Stephanie Bryan, Kimberly Bryan, and Jessica Bryan. He was predeceased by two brothers, William and James, and a sister Joanne Hunsicker.
Services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call Friday 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.

James D. Stayer
Born in Sellersville he was the son of the late James & Alma (George) Stayer.
He was employed by KwikGoal of Quakertown.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons Kevin and his wife Jane of Jamison, Todd and his wife Krista of Coopersburg, and Greg and his wife Karen of Sellersville. A brother Jerrold W. and his wife Diane of Coopersburg. He was poppy to five grandchildren Allen, Robin, Shelby, Taylor, and Gavin. Nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday evening November 15, 2007 at 7:30 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Thursday 6:00-7:30 P.M. in the funeral home.
Kenneth R. Blackburn
Born in Philadelphia he was the son of Kenneth & Sandra L. (Glazier) Blackburn of Quakertown.
He was a cook for Applebee's Restaurant in Montgomeryville, PA.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister Paige Fairly of Quakertown. His Fiancee Katherine E. Chromiak of Philadelphia. He was predeceased by a sister Erin Danica and a brother Todd A.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. There will be no calling hours.
The family requests that everyone please dress casual.
Harry W. Engelman
Born in Milford Twp., he was the son of the late Wilson P. & Elva (Moose) Engelman.
He was a self-employed dairy farmer retiring in 1982 as proprietor of the Engelman Dairy Farm. Prior to farming he worked for Wambold & Sons and H. B. Shelly.
Harry was a former director of the Farm Bureau of Bucks County and active in several other farming organizations including the grange. He was a member of the Grundsow Lodge #4 and also received an award for voting in every election for 50 years. He was a member of West Swamp Mennonite Church in Quakertown where he was a church trustee for many years.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Elaine G. Propst and her husband C. Leon of Quakertown, Kenneth W. and his wife Janet of Milford Twp. Sister Florence E. Schlicher of Zionsville, and two brothers Sam of Mesa, AZ and Robert of Palmyra, PA. Six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Wilson H.
Services will be held on Monday, November 19, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in West Swamp Mennonite Church 2501 Allentown Rd. Quakertown. Call Sunday evening 7:00-8:30 P. M. at the church and Monday 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.

Donald F. Szlachta
He was employed by Leeds & Northrup in North Wales before his retirement.
Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Henry and Frances (Kurys) Szlachta.
Donald was a member of the NRA. He also enjoyed and had a fond appreciation of Folk Music.
He is survived by his children Chris and his wife Pauline of Center Valley, Jennifer wife of Walter Bevilacqua of Jim Thorpe and Benjamin and his wife Kristin of Albrightsville. A brother Richard and his wife Fran of Wyndmoor and a sister Lorraine wife of Frank Buck of Warminster. Five grandchildren and one due in April. A sister in law Janet of Southampton. He was predeceased by a brother Dennis.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday November 20, at 12:00 p.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
The family request that memorial contributions in Donald's name be made to Godfrey Daniels, 7 East 4th St. Bethlehem PA 18015.
Helga T. Myers
Born in Baltimore Maryland she was the daughter of the late William & Anna-Leisa (Alt) Thomsen.
She is survived by two sons Paul F. of Hellertown and John M. of Wilkes Barre. A daughter Vickie M. Fulmer of Richlandtown. A sister Ann Miller of Baltimore, Maryland. 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.
