Born in Wescosville he was the son of the late Howard J. & Ida (Ziegler) Dise.
He retired in February of 1994 from the former Pillsbury Co. in East Greenville.
Alfred was a past Vice President of the Macungie Rod & Gun Club and also a member of the Owl's Home in East Greenville and the Grundsow Lodge.
He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Pennsburg.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters Claire J. Hilbert and her husband Mike of Bechtelsville, and Kathleen A. Latshaw and her husband Dennis of Pennsburg. Four grandchildren April, Dennis Jr., Andrew and Chad. Two great grandchildren Caden and Colby.
Services will be held on Tuesday, December 4 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church 81 N. Main St. Pennsburg, Pa 18073. Call Tuesday 9:30-11:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.

Douglas D. Paynkewicz
Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late Paul P. Paynkewicz, Sr. and the late Marlene L. (Farrington) Ford.
He was a truck driver for Fed-Ex Freight Systems, Inc. in Mount Pocono.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
Douglas was a U. S. Navy Veteran and a member of the Navy Reserve Construction Battalion 21 Detachment 42 of the Lehigh Valley. He served in Iraq during Operation Enduring Freedom.
He is survived by a brother Paul P., Jr. and his wife Robin of Quakertown. Three sisters Brenda Roth of Quakertown, Suzette Evans and her husband Ron of LaGrange, GA and Sharon L. Seys of Allentown. A niece Kaila and four nephews Jereme, Aaron, Andrew, and Jacques.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Saturday 9:30-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.

Elizabeth Bednarski
Survived by a daughter Rose Mary Henry of Philadelphia. Predeceased by a son Frank, Jr.

Donald Reichenbach
Born in Richlandtown he was the son of the late Raymond & Margaret (Morgan) Reichenbach.
He and his son Rick owned and operated Don's Auto Service & Son LLC of Quakertown.
For over 30 years Don was the head of the Quakertown High School Football sideline chain crew and enjoyed baseball, last managing the Zion Hill Lutheran Church Softball Team, Don also was active in the Quakertown Fireman's bowling league.
He was a race enthusiast rather it be drag racing at Vargos Farm, helping his son with his car, or fulfilling his lifelong dream of owning his own car and racing at Mahony Valley Speedway in Lehighton. Don also enjoyed the Christmas Season playing Santa Claus for his family and friends for many years.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a former member of the Quakertown American Legion Post #242.
Donald attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Applebachsville.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Rick of Emmaus and a daughter Michelle Rober and her husband Ben of Pennsburg. A brother John and his wife Nancy of Quakertown and a sister Imogene Croman of Quakertown. Two grandsons Garett and Michael. He was predeceased by two brothers Ray and Bob and two sisters Dorothy and Mary.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship 2788 Geryville Pike, Pennsburg, PA 18073. Timothy D. Rothrock
Born in Sauconia, PA he was the son of the late Joel & Rosa (Bright) Rothrock.
He retired in 1981 from Bethlehem Steel.
Timothy attended Mountain View Alliance Church in Jersey Shore, PA.
He is survived by a son David K. and his wife Suzette of Jersey Shore, PA. Two grandchildren David and Tammy wife of Jared Rowling. Four great grandchildren Joshua, Rebecca, Anna, and Andrew.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the Mountain View Alliance Church 1515 Cemetery St., Jersey Shore, Pa 17740. Family will receive and greet family and friends at a reception following the service. Graveside Service and burial will be held on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in Calvary Bible Fellowship Cemetery 6782 N. Main St. Coopersburg, PA 18036.

Andre M. Seys
Born in Sellersville he was the son of Renee (Leman) Seys of Green Lane and the late Michel Seys.
He loved his job at David Brothers Landscaping where he was a mason.
He enjoyed gardening and bicycling
Andre was a member of Green Lane Jehovah Witness Congregation.
In addition to his mother he is survived by a son Jacques A. of Mesa, Arizona. Two daughters Stephanie Canzano of Macungie and Bridgett Canzano of Stewartsville, NJ., and Jacques mother and dear friend Sharon Seys of Allentown. Four grandchildren.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.

Isabelle Bedford
Born on December 26, 1931 in Luzerne County, PA she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Isabelle (Kazokas) Fronczkiewicz.
She was a charter and life-time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of John Rivers VFW Memorial Post 11322. Isabelle was a member of the Hilltown Baptist Church participating in the Ladies Sunday School and a member of the oung at Heart Group.
She was the loving mother of Brian D. and his wife Adrienne, Gary M. and his wife Kathleen, Karen Kidd and her husband Gary, George F., III and his wife Deborah and Bernard C. and his wife Marie. She is also survived by a brother Bernard Fronczkiewicz, Jr. and his wife Mary. And daughter in law Brenda D. 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son David E.
Services will be held on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Hilltown Baptist Church Upper Stump and Church Rds. Hilltown, Pa 18927. Call Friday 9:00-11:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown, PA is in charge of the arrangements.

Martha G. Kring
Born in Johnstown, PA she was the daughter of the late George S. & Hazel (Clark) Kring.
She was a retired elementary school music teacher for the Chestnut Ridge School District in New Paris, PA.
She was the former pianist and choir director for Elton United Methodist Church in Elton, PA. She attended Day Spring Christian Fellowship of Quakertown and formerly attended the Altoona Bible Church.
She is survived by a sister Carol A. Vogt of Sellersville. Two nephews John Korty and Gary Korty, one niece Janet Glowa. Three great nieces Rachel, Meghan, and Sarah Glowa. She was predeceased by a twin sister Marian.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. in the Harris Funeral Home 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Call Friday, December 28, 2007 6:00-8:00 P.M. and Saturday, December 29, 2007 9:00-10:00 A.M. in the Harris Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are being coordinated by the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown.
Darlene T. Conger
Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Dale Schaffer and the late May (Fegley) Yost, and step-daughter of the late Wilson Yost.
She retired in 1991 from Webcraft Technologies in Chalfont where she was a job coordinator. Prior to that she worked for the former Imrod & Renninger Pants Factories.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church Richlandtown where she served on council, was a choir member and also a volunteer coordinator.
Darlene was the former secretary treasurer of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 242. She is survived by two daughters Carol Nase and her husband Michael of Pennsburg, and Christine Ozkowski and her husband Steven of Quakertown. Sisters Roberta McClanahan, Cindy Becker, and Marsha Peterson. Grandchildren Jami, Sheri, Michael and Brooke. Predeceased by a sister Dennette Schaffer.
Services will be held on Friday, December 28 at 10:30 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Friday 9:00-10:30 A.M. in the funeral home.

Edward Patrick O'Brien
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Hugh & Lillian (Hoffman) O'Brien.
A graduate of Drexel University with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Ed was founder and co-owner of Brice Associates, LLC, Engineering Consultants. He was a knight of the third degree with the Knights of Columbus Father Stommel #4545 Council of Ottsville. Ed was an artist who enjoyed painting oil on canvas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army First Cavalry Division during the Vietnam War. Ed was a devout catholic and a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Ottsville. He was a devoted son, father, and grandfather who will forever be remembered for his Irish wit.
He is survived by two daughters - Colleen O'Brien of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Catherine Palumbo and her husband Michael of Allentown, PA; two brothers - John and his wife Trisha, of South Carolina and William and his wife Marie of Virginia; two granddaughters - Sophia Skye and Ava Catherine and many nieces and nephews.
A mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church in Ottsville. A viewing will be held Saturday 9:00-10:30 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of arrangements.

James "Jim" C. Ebbert
Born in Greencastle, PA he was the son of the late Albert E. & Margaret (Shook) Ebbert.
He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Millersville University in May of 1941.
Jim taught in the Quakertown Community Schools from Sept. 1941 to November 1942 and again from November 1945 until Nov. 1946. He left teaching in November 1946 when he purchased the former K & L Company, Inc. and remained there until retiring in December of 1982.
Jim was a director of The Quakertown National Bank from 1962-1995 and of the Quakertown Union Cemetery Company from 1963-1997. He was a board member of the former Quakertown Hospital Association from 1965-1995, treasurer of the Quakertown School Authority from 1966-2002.
He was a member of the Quakertown Lions Club, Quakertown Lodge No. 512 F & A.M., Lehigh Consistory, American Legion Post 242, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 1622 and the Quakertown Chamber of Commerce. Jim also was chairman of Quakertown Centennial Parade Committee, and a member of Quakertown Water Authority.
He was involved in forming Quakertown Little League and was the former secretary of Quakertown Athletic Association as well as the former business manager of Quakertown A. A. Football.
During World War II Jim taught pilots celestial navigation in the Army Air Corp.
He was a member of First United Church of Christ in Quakertown.
He is survived by a sister Louise Little of Gettysburg, PA and a brother, Daniel G. Ebbert of Sinking Spring, PA. He was predeceased by brothers Arthur J. G. Ebbert and Albert S. Ebbert and two sisters Sarah Biesecker and Eleanor Guschel.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in First United Church of Christ 4th St. & Park Ave. Quakertown. There will be no calling hours. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.
