Born in Franconia Twsp, Montgomery County she was the daughter of the late Menno Hackman & Martha (Detweiler) Moyer.
She was a medical lab technician for Chestnut Hill Hospital before retiring.
She taught Sunday School for over 50 years at the former Bethel Evangelical United Brethren Church in Quakertown and was a member of Quakertown United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a sister Mary E. Limons of Center Valley. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters Elsie Rennie, Verna Willauer, Lucille Buzby, and a brother Willard D. Moyer, Sr.
Services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Quakertown United Methodist Church 1875 Freier Rd. Quakertown. Call Wednesday 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.

Raymond H. Benner
Born in Richlandtown on September 25, 1920 he was the son of the late Raymond and Lydian (Huber) Benner.
He was a master plumber in the Quakertown area for many years, and was also employed at Camp Tohikanee and the Quakertown Best Western.
Raymond graduated from Quakertown High School and served in the Civilian Conservation Corps in Virginia. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII serving as a Morse code operator in a patrol unit. He was also an avid fisherman.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Elaine wife of Gary Owens of Allentown and Betty wife of Stephen Power of Comberton, England. A grandson Andrew Power; and a brother Stanley and his wife Rhea of Richlandtown. He was predeceased by a brother Norman and sisters Jennie, Elda and Emma, and step sisters Ann and Blanche.
Services will be private. Cremation services are in the care of the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Belle Haven, 1320 Mill Rd. Quakertown, PA 18951.
Anna Bors
Anna was born in Valmiera, Latvia.
She was a member of the Latvian Lutheran Church of Bucks County and Vicinity, where she was a member of the choir.
Anna also loved to swim at the Quakertown YMCA, where she had many friends. Her daily walks in the neighborhood were a must.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Andris Bors and a daughter Kristine Kelly. Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.

George F. Lang
A retired A T & T technician, he was a U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran of WW II.
George was a 33 year member of AA.
Survived by his children George, Paul, Barbara, and Carolyn. Six grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the funeral home.

R. Vernon Bartholomew
He was a retired custodian for Strayer Middle School in Quakertown. Prior to that he worked for the former Fretz Pants Factory in Pipersville.
He was a life time member of the Quakertown Moose and a U.S. Army Veteran Serving during WW II Vernon was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Perkasie.
He is survived by a son Gene and his wife Beverly of Crystal River, Florida and a daughter Loretta Auckland and her husband John of Arkport, New York. Eight grandchildren Jeanine, Todd, Tal, Ty, Mark, Mary Ann, Melinda, and Michelle. Seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church 100 Old Bethlehem Rd., ( Rte 313 & Branch Rd.) Perkasie, PA 18944. Call 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.

Kenneth R. Ethier
Born in Niagara Falls, N.Y. he was the son of Roger and Lucille (Montpetit) Ethier of Quakertown.
He was last employed as a maintenance man for LEM Products in Doylestown. Prior he worked in the maintenance department of Fasson in Quakertown.
Ken enjoyed working and anything mechanical. He also enjoyed Monster Trucks.
In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by two sons Kerry and Aaron, sisters Joyce, Claudette and Lynette and a brother Richard. He was predeceased by a son Ryan.
Services will be held on Wednesday January 16, at 1:30 p.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to GrandView Hospital, The Lyme Disease Research Assoc. or the American Cancer Society.
Louis Marks, Jr.
Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Louis, Sr. and Helen Mae (Miller) Marks.
He was the owner operator of the Dublin 7-Eleven before retiring. After retiring he was employed as a manager for the Quakertown WaWa and the Quakertown 7-Eleven.
A self taught athlete Louis enjoyed swimming, running and playing golf, tennis and racquetball. He also enjoyed the outdoors, and working.
Louis loved animals and was a contributor of the Humane Society.
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
He was family oriented and enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Bobby, Deborah, Joyce, Michele, Diane, Melinda, and Sherry. A sister Gloria. Nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Christine (Jones) Marks and his brother Robert.
Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call 9:30-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.

Sarah M. Strunk
Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Robert E. & Ruth A. (Shelly) Strunk.
She was a licensed massage therapist.
Sarah is survived by two brothers Rev. Stephen C. and his wife Naomi of Quakertown and Timothy S. and his wife Kathy of Galion, OH. An uncle Raymond Shelly and Aunt Mary Jane Kauffman. Four nephews, six nieces, one great nephew and four great nieces. Her two pet dogs Benny & Gus.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Saucon Mennonite Church 6639 N. Main St. Coopersburg, Pa 18036. There will be no calling hours. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.
Dorothy V. Fisher
Born in Scranton, PA she was the daughter of the late William & Vera (Shimer) Fisher.
She was an office manager for McAdoo & Allen and Quaker Color before retiring.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by a son Christopher of Milford Square, PA two daughters Carolyn Leiby and her husband Martin of Quakertown and Christina Lehnert and her husband Joseph of Coopersburg. A sister Nadia Saulsbury. Five grandchildren Richard, Melissa, Victoria, Joanna, & Adair. Four great grandchildren Marshall, Morgan, Keira, and Dylan. The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Emmaus Moravian Church 146 Main St. at Keystone Ave. Emmaus, PA 18049. There will be no calling hours.
Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown.

Virginia R. Sittler
Born in Quakertown she was the daughter of the late Richard R. & Mamie B. (Roth) Scheetz.
She is survived by a son Frederick J., Jr. and a daughter Donna Yopconka. Two brothers Richard and Charles. Three grandchildren Robert, Melissa, and Adam. She was predeceased by a sister June Lewis and two brothers Kenneth and Henry.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 21, 2008 at 8:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Monday 7:00-8:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
Audrey C. Heller
Born in Windber, PA she was the daughter of the late William J. and Rachel (Mohney) Hall.
She was a member of the First U.C.C. in Quakertown and the Quakertown Sr. Citizens.
Audrey is survived by two grandchildren, Jack Egner of Coopersburg and Barbara Heft of Quakertown, six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Lois Egner.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown.
Julie L. Hartwich
Born in Sellersville she was the daughter of David M. & Donna L. (Boardman) Hartwich of Quakertown.
She was a student at Lock Haven University where she was an elementary special education major, and a member of the Universities New Life. She was also employed at Lowe's in Quakertown.
She was a 2006 graduate of Quakertown High School, she then attended Bucks County Community College for 1 year obtaining a 4.0 grade point average.
Julie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Quakertown where she was a Sunday school teacher and a volunteer.
She had a love and passion for children and animals and became a volunteer for the SPCA in Lock Haven.
In addition to her parents she is survived by a brother Brent M. of Quakertown. Maternal grandfather Harold Boardman of Milford Square. Uncle and Aunt, Gary & Karen Boardman of Coopersburg. Her pets Kayse, Lizzie, Oreo, Lucy . She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Ruth Boardman and her paternal grandparents Roman & Helen Hartwich.
Services will be held on Friday, February 1, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church 19 S. 10th St. Quakertown. Call 12:00-1:00 P.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.

Maurine Lehtonen
Born in Lansing, Michigan she was the daughter of the late Nathanial Greene and Lynelle (Havens) Lehman and the step daughter of the late Erwin Lehman.
She is survived by a daughter Kathy Reddien of Quakertown, a son Gregg Lehtonen and his wife Pat of Park City, Utah. A sister Helen Miller of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Two step brothers James of Michigan, and Robert of Florida. Five grandchildren Matthew and Jeremy Reddien, Kristopher, Brice and Ashley Lehtonen. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Eric and a brother John.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Moravian Hall Square, 175 West North St. Nazareth, PA 18064. There will be no calling hours. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.
