Born in Mount Holly, NJ she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Hazel Naomi (Hudson) Perkins.
She was last employed as a telephone operator for the former Bell Telephone Co. now Verizon.
She was U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Quakertown American Legion Post 242.
Nancy was a member of Christ Church of the United Church of Christ in Trumbauersville.
She is survived by a sister Sandra Raber and husband Larry, four brothers Charles and wife Lou, Samuel and wife Maria, Roland and James and wife Colleen. Two step daughters Barbara and Lisa and two step grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday February 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions can be made to Christ Church of the U.C.C. 101 N. Main St. Trumbauersville, PA 18970.
Maude F. Shearer
Born in Wescosville she was the daughter of the late Morris and Rose (Kuhns) Schmoyer.
From 1964 to 1982 she and her late husband owned and operated the former Linda Lake in Spinnerstown.
She enjoyed playing the lottery and casino bus trips. Maude also enjoyed socializing with friends at the Spinnerstown Hotel.
She was a member of Trinity Great Swamp United Church of Christ, Spinnerstown.
Maude loved her family and especially her grandchildren she also enjoyed cooking for family. She is survived by her children Doris Carber of Colmar, Sandra Bloss of Coopersburg, Peggy Banes of Quakertown, Roy of Zionsville and Todd of Coopersburg. Brother and sister, Lester Schmoyer and Lillian Stott both in Florida. Eleven grandchildren Mike, Mark, Matt, Aaron, Jeremy, Benjamin, Eric, Caitlin, Chase, Shaila and Crystal, Six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Linda Shive.
Services will be held on Wednesday February 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.

James H. Stevens
Born in Ambler he was son of the late Albert and Laura (Volintine) Stevens.
Private graveside services will be held at George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.

Agnes Jones
Survived by daughters Vaughnina McFadden and Celeste Katz, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A mass will be held at St. Isidores Catholic Church at the convenience of the family.

Betty J. Funk
Born in Fountain Hill, she was wife of Clarence L. Funk and the daughter of the late Theodore C. & Ada (Esterly) Strohl.
An avid bird watcher, Betty found peace in watching the birds that she welcomed into her yard. In her earlier years, she enjoyed playing bingo and knitting. Spending time with her family was what she loved most of all. Betty will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons - Robert and his wife Janet of Breinigsville, Theodore and his friend Ruth of Catasaqua, and Richard and his wife Karen of Allentown; a daughter - Beth Cressman and her husband Ron of Allentown; seven grandchildren - Tammie, Misty, Adam, Ashley, Samantha, Mark, and Lindsey; two great grandchildren - Landon and James. She was predeceased by two brothers - Carl and "Buddy" and a sister Marjorie.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.
Everett P. Painter
Born in Kittanning he was the son of the late Grace (Bowser) Wallace.
He was last employed as a machine operator for Teva Pharmaceuticals prior he was a kiln fireman for the former Corson Lime Co. in Plymouth Meeting.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Quakertown Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons Erick S. and William P. and a daughter Nicole L. wife of Steve Frei. A sister Judy wife of Carl Tippmann and two grandchildren Harlie and Shahayla.
Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday February 19, in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Calling hours will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Marion G. Pfleiger
Born in Springtown she was the daughter of the late John & Jennie Knechel.
She was last employed as a cook for Sine's 5 & 10 in Quakertown.
Marion was a member of the Quakertown Senior Center.
She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Perkasie.
She is survived by three sons James H., and his wife Diane, Linford, and Dennis and his wife Linda all of Quakertown. Three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Matthews Lutheran Church (Kellers Church) 3668 Ridge Rd. Perkasie, PA 18944. Call Friday 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.

Mary C. Gartland
Born in Philadelphia the daughter of the late Thomas J. & Bridget Gartland.
She was a lab Technician for the City of Philadelphia before retirement and a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Quakertown.
Survived by a sister Eleanor Cunningham of Philadelphia. Nieces and Nephews.
A mass will be held on March 3, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Isidore's Catholic Church 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown. Call 9:00-10:00 A.M. in the church. Arrangements by C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown.
Lorraine M. Decker
Born in Hosensack, she was the daughter of the late Arthur & Gladys (Hunsberger) Weller.
Prior to her retirement, Lorraine worked for many years as a seamstress for the former Dublin Pants Factory.
She was a member of the 600 club. Lorraine was an avid bowler, active in leagues and tournaments since 1974.
She is survived by two sons Ronald Popowitz and his wife Linda of Richlandtown, and Ray Popowitz and his wife Janet of Coopersburg. Three brothers - Arlie Weller, Jay Weller and Duane Weller; a sister Patricia F. Guerra; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Lorraine was predeceased by a son Roger.
Services will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the funeral home.
Uriah W. Wimmer
Born in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Uriah A. & Mamie M. (Hallman) Wimmer.
Prior to his retirement, Uriah worked as a carpenter for W.M. Moyer & Co. in Quakertown and the former Berger Acoustic in Philadelphia.
Uriah was a lifelong member of the Milford Twp Fish & Game, and also a member of the Mumbauersville Gun Club. Uriah enjoyed hunting, fishing and metal detecting.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five daughters - Nancy Hoppel and her husband Charles of Lehighton, Susan Williams of Pennsburg, Carol Jones and her husband Richard of Green Lane, Karen Greenwald and her husband Larry of East Greenville, and Kathy Zsido of Bethlehem; two brothers Jacob and Larry; five sisters - Virginia, Almeda, Pearl, Mildred, and Aquilla; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. June B. Mang
Born in Mount Holly, NJ she was the daughter of the late Richard H. & Dorothy E. (Matthews) Brown.
She was a secretary for the former Byberry State Hospital, prior to that she was employed at Youth and Development in Bensalem.
She was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Quakertown.
June is survived by two sons Kenneth Powell and his wife Karen of Berkley, CA, and David Powell and his wife Sharon of Southampton. Two daughters Wendy Browne of Trenton, and Patricia Walsh and her husband Martin of Trevose. A brother Richard Brown of Athens, Tennessee. Nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Dorothy Mae.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call 10:30-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.

Anna Cundiff
She was the wife of the late James E. Cundiff. Born in Lansford, Pa she was the daughter of the late John & Anna (Dolinsky) Vavra.
From 1948 until her retirement in 1983 she was head nurse at the former Quakertown Community Hospital, after retiring she continued her nursing career in a volunteer capacity for local Hospice networks.
From 1943-1945 she was a charge nurse for the University of Pennsylvania Hospital.
She was a member of First United Church of Christ in Quakertown where she was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class and also a member of the Care Committee.
Anna was also a member of the Quakertown Senior Center.
She was a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps serving during WW II at Indiantown Gap.
Anna is survived by two daughters Jeanne M. Keller and her husband Thomas of Kintnersville and Linda D. Chabak and her husband Andrew of Quakertown.
A sister Olga Kitchko of Quakertown. Three grandchildren Adam James Keller, Kimberly Ann Chabak, and Kacie Lynn Chabak.
Services will be held on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 12:00 P.M. at First United Church of Christ 4th St. & Park Ave., Quakertown.
Call 11:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. in the church. Arrangements by the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown.

Mary E. Wonsidler
Born in Doylestown she was the daughter of the late Walter & Anna (Bergey) Shelly .
She received her nursing degree from Grand View Hospital School of Nursing and continued as a nurse for Grand View Hospital.
She was a member of the former Bethlehem Steel Club.
Mary was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Telford.
She is survived by two sons Lewis of Hampton, NJ and Robert of Florissant, Missouri. A brother in law David Wonsidler and his wife Elizabeth of Allentown, and a sister in law Esther Munchberg and her husband Edward of Trumbauersville. Three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. in the Chapel at the Lutheran Community of Telford. Call Wednesday 10:00-10:30 A.M. in the chapel. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. Quakertown, Pa., is in charge of the arrangements.
