Claysville resident owned Eastham Construction Co.
John S. Eastham, 70, of Claysville, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2003, in Washington Hospital, after being in failing health for the past several years.
He was born November 5, 1932, in Luka, W.Va., a son of William Frederick Eastham and Ada Perrino Eastham Hughes.
Mr. Eastham had resided in South Franklin Township prior to moving to East Finley (Pleasant Grove) in 1960.
He was employed by the former Blacktop Paving Co. for about 20 years. He owned and operated Eastham Construction Co. for 10 years prior to being employed as a superintendent by Frank Irey Construction Co. of Monongahela for about 15 years before his retirement because of ill health.
Mr. Eastham was superintendent of the construction of MGM Studios at Disney World, Orlando, Fla., and Marshall University football stadium in Huntington, W.Va.
He was an avid wrestling fan and youth wrestling coach at East Finley Elementary School for approximately seven years.
Mr. Eastham was an avid cook and enjoyed traveling.
On January 5, 1952, he married
Shirley Ann Crawford, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, John F. Eastham of Claysville and Harry W. Eastham of Washington; two daughters, Joyce A. McConn of West Alexander and Kathy L. Pettit of Washington; a brother, William F. Eastham Jr. of Mt. Vernon, Ill., and Orlando; a sister, Louise Diett of Washington; eight grandchildren, Tracey McConn Miller, Stephanie McConn Summers, Patrick McConn, Carl, Joel and Christina Pettit, John S. Eastham II and Katelynn Eastham; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Lorena Bell and Doris Hughes; and a brother, Frank Eastham.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 1, in Roadside Chapel (Pleasant Grove), with the Rev. Mary Sprowls officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Dialysis Clinics Inc., 280 North Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Funeral Home Inc., Rogersville.
Margaret E. Natale

She was born November 15, 1916, in Elizabeth, a daughter of John and Sarah DeRocco Larcinese.
Mrs. Natale was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg.
In 1987, she retired after working 20 years at Gammons and Ernie's Esquire restaurants, where she was in charge of preparing salads and desserts.
Mrs. Natale was a football and baseball fan.
She loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On June 27, 1934, she married

Surviving are three daughters, Luci Britko of LaGrange, Ky., Joyce Matthews and Janet Pappas, both of Canonsburg; a sister, Mary DeFrank of Canton, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son, John E. Natale; three sisters, Viola Kisselovich, Ann Hafner and Elvie Korona; and two brothers, Phillip and Domenic Larcinese.
William S. Piatt

He was born December 11, 1919, in Fairfield, West Bethlehem Township, a son of William and Ida Grable Piatt.
Mr. Piatt was a 1937 graduate of West Bethlehem Township High School and a 1939 graduate of Penn Commercial Business School, where he received a degree in accounting.
He was employed as a laboratory assistant at B.F. Drakenfeld Co. in Washington for more than 39 years, before retiring in 1985.
Mr. Piatt was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army while stationed in North Africa and Europe.
He was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Washington and had served as its treasurer for many years.
Surviving are a daughter, JoAnn Gourley of Washington; three brothers, Warren Piatt of Washington, Joseph Piatt of Brevard, N.C., and John Piatt of Butler; three grandchildren, Julie Rhine, Tammy Meiers and Thomas R. Gourley III; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Freda Baysinger
Freda Mae Baysinger, 72, of Prosperity, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, November 28, 2002, at her residence following a brief illness.
She was born April 28, 1930, in Greene County, a daughter of John and Lottie Freda Scott Redman.
Mrs. Baysinger was a homemaker and Protestant. She enjoyed flower gardening and cooking.
On February 3, 1946, she married
Lloyd "Red" Baysinger, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Barbara Pabian of Washington and Sandra and Sharon Baysinger, both at home; two sisters, Viola Jane Wise of Cameron, W.Va., and Alice E. Brookover of Moundsville, W.Va.; and a brother, Frank A. Redman of Davenport, Fla.

She was born May 9, 1938, in Finleyville, a daughter of the late Seaman and Rebecca Munzick Snow.
Mrs. Block was a resident of Canonsburg for the past five years and previously lived most of her life in Hill Station, where she was a member of SNPJ Lodge.
She was a homemaker.
On May 4, 1957, she married
David H. Block, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, David J. Block Sr. at home and Dana C. Block of Cecil; a daughter, Carrie Block of Hill Station; three brothers, Donald Snow of McMurray, Ronald Snow of Baysville, N.J., and John Snow of Monongahela; a sister, Mary Salaske of Finleyville; three grandchildren, David J. Jr. and Felisha Block and Kimberly Areford; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Harry Snow; and a sister, Shirley Rice.

Also surviving are a daughter, Elaine Collins of East Rochester, Ohio; a son, Warren B. Bowers of Mt. Morris; five grandchildren, Michelle Pugh, Duane Bowers, Debbie Cheek, Ronald Collins and Jean Mooney; and six great-grandchildren.
