She was born January 2, 1925, in Bentleyville, a daughter of George and Flora Bentley Gosney.
Mrs. Deems was a 1942 graduate of Bentleyville High School.
She lived in Fredericktown for more than 20 years. More recently, she lived in McKeesport for more than 20 years until her illness.
Mrs. Deems was a homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna Deems Jay of Denbo; seven sons, Donald Deems Jr. of Vestaburg, Darrin Deems of Fredericktown, John Myers of McKeesport, George Myers of Elizabeth, Dale Myers of Yorktown, Texas, William Myers of McKeesport and Wayne Myers of Lawrence; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Deceased are her husbands, Herman Myers and Donald Deems Sr.; and two brothers, Donald and Walter Gosney.
Donald K. Dewey

Donald K. Dewey, 73, of McDonald, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, February 9, 2002, in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.
He was born December 1, 1928, in McDonald, a son of Victor and Virginia Theodore Dewey.
Mr. Dewey was a chef at John J. Kane Regional Hospital, Scott Township, until his retirement in 1985, when he stayed on as a volunteer.
He was active in McDonald Little League.
Mr. Dewey was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church, McDonald.
On August 29, 1959, he married
Joyce Johns, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Deborah Dewey Garcia of Los Angeles, Calif.; a son, Donald J. Dewey of Readding, Calif.; three grandchildren, Micah and Amber Dewey and Devon Dewey-Garcia; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Victor and Emile Dewey.
S. Clarke Gapen

He was born March 2, 1917, in Greene Township, Greene County, a son of George S. and Lillian Barb Gapen.
Mr. Gapen was a 1936 graduate of Cumberland Township High School, Carmichaels. He resided in the Greensboro area all his life, where he operated his family dairy farm.
He was a member of Mapletown United Methodist Church and was a past president of Greene County Farm Bureau.
In 1981, Mr. Gapen served as a worshipful master of Valley Lodge 459, F&AM;, Masontown. He was a past thrice potent master of Uniontown Lodge of Perfection. He was a member of Scottish Rite Bodies in the Valley of Pittsburgh and Syria Temple AAONMS of Pittsburgh.
On December 31, 1943, he married
Henrietta Mavin, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Daniel C. Gapen of Garards Fort and Harley M. Gapen of Greensboro; a brother, John D. Gapen of Waynesburg; a sister, Helen G. Six of Greensboro; four grandchildren, Gregory Daniel, Stephanie C., Harley Joe and Marjorie Lynn Gapen; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, George B. Gapen.
Roger Grimes

He was born December 29, 1952, in Waynesburg, a son of Faye Stockdale Grimes Hunnell of Holbrook and the late Halfred Byron Grimes, who Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died August 16, 1976.
Mr. Grimes resided in Jackson Township all his life.
He was a member of Valley Chapel United Methodist Church, Holbrook, where, at the time of his death, he served as a Sunday school superintendent and a member of the board of trustees.
Mr. Grimes was a member of Waynesburg Masonic Lodge 153 F&AM; and Uniontown Lodge of Perfection 14th Degree Scottish Rite.
He enjoyed the outdoors and, during the Christmas season, loved lighting his property for all his neighbors.
Mr. Grimes was a 1971 graduate of West Greene High School, where he was named Outstanding Athlete of the Year in 1970 and 1971, was named to the All-County Football Team and was an outstanding wrestler. He attended Fairmont (W.Va.) State College.
He was a former employee of T.D. Bross in powerline construction and a former employee of First Colony, where he assisted in silo construction at Emerald Mine and had been employed as a prep plant mechanic and certified electrician by RAG Resources (Cumberland Mine-Kirby) for the past 24 years.
Mr. Grimes was a member of United Mine Workers of America Local 2300 and an honorary member of Cumberland Mine Fire Brigade.
On February 19, 1972, he married
Linda Marie Fonzi, who survives.
In addition to his wife and mother, surviving are a son, Peter Matthew Grimes of Waynesburg; two brothers, H. Terry and Charles L. "Bugsy" Grimes, both of Holbrook; a grandson, Noah Matthew Grimes; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his father, is his step-father, Lewis Hunnell, who Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died September 8, 1985.

Fartro of Canonsburg and Thomas Fartro of Houston; three sisters, Ann Niemiec and Betty Fartro, both of Mt. Lebanon, and Lucille Cannon of Canonsburg; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are four brothers, Rocco, Joseph, Benjamin and Anthony Fartro; and four sisters, Rose Churray, Pauline Churchel and two infant sisters.

Mr. Kulish served with the U.S. Army in Germany.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed in large assembly by Cooper Industries.
He was a lifelong Canonsburg area resident and was Protestant.
Surviving are his wife, Dolores H. Kress Kulish; a son, James M. Kulish, at home; a daughter, Janice L. Yanosky of Washington; two brothers, John Kulish of Phoenix, Ariz., and Steve Kulish of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
John Joseph Kusky
