CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - William H. Kaye, 53, of 329 Ragged Edge Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Monday, May 1, 2000, at Penn Hall Nursing Home.
Born March 10, 1947, in Detroit, he was the son of Herbert R. Kaye of Chambersburg and the late Doris Naugle Kaye.
He was a 1965 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School; a 1969 graduate of Penn State University; and a 1972 graduate of American University Law School.
From 1972 to 1987 he was in private law practice at Lee and Kaye. He served as assistant public defender. From 1987 until his retirement in 1999, he was a judge in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas.
He was a member and former trustee of Presbyterian Church of Falling Spring and trustee of Rocky Spring Presbyterian Church.
He was a member of the Franklin County Bar Association; Pennsylvania Bar Association; American Bar Association; American Judiciary Society; and Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges, where he was past president of Juvenile Court Division.
He was a member of George Washington Lodge 143 Free and Accepted Masons; Chambersburg Lions Club; C.V. Torch Club; Kittochtinny Historical Society; Izaak Walton League; B.P.O.E. 600; Franklin County Farm Bureau; Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce; Fulton County Chamber of Commerce; Penn State Alumni Association; Franklin County Penn State Club; Chambersburg Area Council for the Arts; patron of Chambersburg Community Theatre; and director of Chambersburg Area Advanced Life Support Inc. (Medic I).
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Victoria Kendig Kaye; two sons, David Kaye of Chambersburg and Scott Stolte of Winchester, Va.; two sisters, Lorri Kaye and Christine Sweeney, both of Chambersburg; and a grandson.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Presbyterian Church of Falling Spring. The Revs. William H. Harter and Linda B. Harter will officiate.
Private burial will be in the church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., where members of George Washington Lodge 143 F &AM will conduct a Masonic service at 8 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Family Life Center of the Presbyterian Church of Falling Spring, 221 N. Main St., Chambersburg, PA 17201; or Rocky Spring Presbyterian Church.
Gwenlan I. Stull

Born May 7, 1933, in Mercersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Violet Bricker Dorty.
She was a laborer for Heisey's Orchard. Later, she worked for G.C. Murphy Co. as a clerk. She then worked for Guilford Convalasarium as an aid.
She was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Chambersburg.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Stull Sr., whom she married
Dec. 16, 1951; a daughter, Lori A. McClure of Shippensburg, Pa.; two sons, Paul F. Stull and Kelly A. Stull, both of Chambersburg; three sisters, Lavonnie Bonebrake of Greencastle, Pa., Dolly Kendall and Lois McClure, both of Chambersburg; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Zeis.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Grace Brethren Church, 315 Edwards Ave. in Chambersburg. The Rev. Earl Summers will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Ave. in Chambersburg, which will open at 2 p.m. Visitation also will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the church.
Rosetta C. McMullen
DRY RUN, Pa. - Rosetta C. Born March 19, 1905, in Willow Hill, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William and Anna Hite Worley.
She was a 1923 graduate of Fannett Township High School.
She was a seamstress at Stanley Clothing Co. in Chambersburg, Pa., for 14 years.
She was a member of Upper Path Valley United Presbyterian Church in Spring Run, Pa.
She was a member of Fannet-Metal Fire and Ambulance Co. and American Legion McCartney Auxiliary Post 232, both of Dry Run.
She is survived by a daughter, Cree Shoemaker of Spring Run; a son, Carl McMullen of Fannettsburg, Pa.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jack E. McMullen; three brothers, William Worley Jr., Ira Worley and Thomas Worley; and a grandson.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at John L. Agett Funeral Home, 18875 Main St. in Dry Run. The Rev. Ted Hale will officiate. Burial will be in Upper Path Valley Cemetery in Fannett Township, Pa.
Visitation will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sandra J. Becvar
QUINCY, Pa. - Sandra J. She was employed by Kentco in Sterling, Va., as a research analyst from 1997-99.
She was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C.
She is survived by a daughter, Theresa L. Burris of Orlando, Fla.; a son, Scott L. Becvar of Chambersburg, Pa.; a brother, Robert Zahnzinger of Phenix City, Ala.; four grandchildren; a great-grandson; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte E. Davies; and a brother, Gilbert Knutson.
Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro. The Rev. Richard A. Randall will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in Quincy.
The family will receive friends Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

James W. Plyler

He was a 1954 graduate of Chambersburg High School.
He retired in 1982 from Mack Trucks in Hagerstown as a machine operator. He owned and operated Jim's TV Service from his home.
He was a Protestant.
He was a member of New Franklin Fire Co. of New Franklin, Pa.; and Chambersburg Fire Police.
He is survived by his wife, Elisabeth Ann Lesher Plyler, whom he married
June 26, 1955; three sons, Randy J. Plyler of Fayetteville, Pa., Rick L. Plyler of Chambersburg and Roger W. Plyler of St. Thomas, Pa.; a stepsister, Paulette Lockbaum of Chambersburg; a stepbrother, Dennis Simpson of Seattle, Wash.; his stepmother, Betty J. Swan Plyler of Chambersburg; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; seven step-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road in Chambersburg. The Rev. Arthur Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday at 10:30 a.m.
