Born Nov. 14, 1933, in Orbisonia, Pa., he was the son of the late Ralph J. and Gladys L. Secrist Yingling.
He was employed as a council representative for Western Pennsylvania Regional District Council of Carpenters Union Local 616 of Chambersburg, Pa.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Waterfall, Pa., and was Sunday School superintendent.
He was past master of Cromwell Lodge 572 F & AM of Orbisonia.
He served on Southern Huntingdon County School Board for 12 years.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda M. Drenning, whom he married
July 4, 1958; three children, Bryan Yingling and Tonya Gutshall, both of Three Springs, and Sonja Parkinson of Jeannette, Pa.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at M. R. Brown Funeral Home in Hustontown, Pa. Burial will be in Center Cemetery in Hustontown.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m., with a Masonic memorial service by Cromwell Lodge 572 F & AM at 8:30 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Home Nursing Agency, Hospice Program, 777 Bryant St., Huntingdon, PA 16652.
Walter M. Breon Sr.

Born Feb. 16, 1932, in Huntingdon, Pa., he was the son of the late Homer and Mildred Davies Breon.
He was a self-employed painter and carpenter. He had been employed by Grove Worldwide in Shady Grove, Pa., and B and B Roofing in Chambersburg.
A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW of Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife, Betty A. Lehman Breon, whom he married
Oct. 20, 1990; three daughters, Joanne L. Reed of Gettysburg, Pa., Deborah I. Nitz and Teresa M. Eastman, both of Michigan; four sons, Kenneth E. Breon and Rodney L. Breon, both of Michigan, Phillip A. Breon and John Breon, both of Chambersburg; a stepson, Victor E. Blaye of Chambersburg; a sister, Ann Myers of Chambersburg; a brother, Paul Breon of Huntingdon County, Pa.; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Walter M. Breon Jr., six sisters; and two brothers.
Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road in Chambersburg. The Rev. Ronald E. Dull will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg with military services by Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 452 E. King St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
Garnet V. Shrout
MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Garnet V. Born Jan. 20, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Roxie Overfield Peterson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Shrout, in 1996.
She was a homemaker.
Private burial will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Highview Memorial Gardens in Fallston, Md.
There will be no viewing.
Arrangements are by Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
William C. Barnhart

Born April 6, 1918, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Leslie L. and Iva Belle Barthalow Barnhart.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Pheil Barnhart, in 1969.
He was a 1939 graduate of Chambersburg High School.
He retired after 23 years of service with the former Pet-Ritz Inc. in Chambersburg.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
He was a member of King Street United Brethren Church in Chambersburg.
He was a member of Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW of Chambersburg, Marine Corps League of Chambersburg, Hume-McNeal-Byers Amvets Post 224 of Chambersburg and Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 842 of Chambersburg.
He is survived by his second wife, Martha Toms Barnhart, whom he married
June 5, 1978; a stepson, Jeffrey K. Myers of Chambersburg; two sisters, Gladys Stuff of Denver and Emily Luenow of Spokane, Wash.; a brother, Thomas Barnhart of Fayetteville, Pa.; two step-granddaughters; a step-grandson; two step-great-granddaughters; and a step-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, four brothers and a step-granddaughter.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road in Chambersburg. The Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery in Chambersburg, with military graveside services conducted by members of Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
Charles S. Sweigert
ST. THOMAS, Pa. - Charles S. "Bim" Sweigert, 76, of P.O. Born July 13, 1923, in Upton, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry L. and Alma Hughes Sweigert.
Early in his life he worked for Sniders Elevator, Williamson, and then he worked for T.B. Woods in the janitorial staff until his retirement in 1985. He later worked for Wheelock Poultry Farms until about 1995.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, St. Thomas.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Seylar Sweigert, whom he married
May 12, 1945; a daughter, Carol J. Seville of St. Thomas; a son, Roger L. Sweigert of Hagerstown; three sisters, Kathrine Bowers and Alma Graham, both of Chambersburg, Pa., and Mable Doyle of Greencastle, Pa.; a brother, Henry Sweigert of Marion, Pa.; six grandchildren and a step-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Inc., 6492 Lincoln Way West, St. Thomas. The Revs. Robert Dean Morrison and Charles Price will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday 30 minutes prior to the services at the funeral home, which will be open one hour prior to the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201, or to Trinity United Church of Christ, 7169 Lincoln Way West, St. Thomas, PA 17252.
Olive S. Bingaman

Born March 10, 1913, in Antrim Township, Franklin County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Cyrus L. and Cora E. Seiders Sites.

In her earlier life, she worked at the former Greencastle Canning Factory and then retired from Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, having worked in the cafeteria and food service area.
She attended Ebenezer "Guitners" United Brethren Church near Greencastle.
She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy A. Greene of Gettysburg, Pa.; two sisters, Lydia Gearhart of St. Thomas, Pa., and Pearl Myers of Greencastle; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Lee Bingaman, a daughter, Patricia J. Bitner; three brothers, Henry J. Sites, Albert Sites and Noble Sites; four sisters, Ethel Clever, Margaret Witmer, Evelyn Ditzler and infant sister, Janet Sites.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle. The Rev. Richard Mose will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to American Heart Association, 225 E. King St., Chambersburg, PA 17201 or to American Diabetes Association, in care of Joan Goetz, 219 W. Second St., Waynesboro, PA 17268.
