FORT LOUDON, Pa. - Charles W. "Bill" Murray, 70, of 2921 Path Valley Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, May 7, 2000, in Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, Pa., of a heart attack.
Born July 5, 1929, in Fort Loudon, he was the son of the late Charles and Emma Yeager Murray.
He was a 30-year employee of the former H.J. Heinz Co. of Chambersburg. For 22 years he was employed as a carpenter by Sunny Hill Properties.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ of Fort Loudon.
He was a member and past officer of Wesley Yeager American Legion Post 606 of Fort Loudon.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Carlin Murray, whom he married
Oct. 20, 1951; two daughters, Cathy J. Pyle of Greencastle, Pa., and Janice A. Gipe of Spring Run, Pa.; a son, Steven W. Murray of St. Thomas, Pa.; two sisters, Pauline Hammond of Fannettsburg, Pa., and Patsy Cline of Chambersburg; three brothers, Garnet Yeager of Norristown, Pa., George Murray of Chambersburg and Fred Murray of St. Thomas; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; a great-granddaughter and two step-great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by twin sons; a sister and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Park Ave., Mercersburg. The Rev. Rick E. Hostetter will officiate. Burial will be in Stenger Hill Cemetery, Fort Loudon.
There will be no viewing.
Theodore A. Kokoski
MANCHESTER, Pa. - Theodore A. Kokoski, 69, of Manchester, and formerly of Harrisburg, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at his home.
Born Sept. 21, 1930, in Cambria County, Pa., he was the son of the late John and Rose Kordish Kokoski.
He was a self-employed mason for over 30 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II and the Korean War. He received a Korean Service Medal with five Bronze Stars, United Nations Service Medal and a Purple Heart.
He was a member of Holy Infant Catholic Church, York Haven, Pa.
He was a member of the 82nd Airborne Association in Mechanicsburg, Pa., James A. Danner VFW Post 537, Etters, Pa., American Legion in Steelton, Pa., and the Dixie Troop.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Enrico Kokoski; two sons, Theodore A. Kokoski II of Thurmont, Md., and Duane A. Kokoski of Finksburg, Md.; five stepsons, David A. Enrico and Renato D. Enrico, both of Lemoyne, Pa., Michael W. Enrico of Harrisburg, Paul M. Enrico of West Fairview, Pa., and Anthony R. Enrico of Camp Hill, Pa.; four daughters, M. Kathleen Burkett and Kimberly A. Hege, both of Hagerstown, Carol L. Sunkel of Camp Hill and Constance A. Boswell of Chambersburg, Pa.; two brothers, John Kokoski of Ebensburg, Pa., and James Koski of Charles Town, W.Va.; five sisters, Sophie Povecke and Anna Mae Tontala, Both of North Tonawanda, N.Y., Victoria Fye of Johnstown, Pa., Frances Polchito of Ebensburg, and Virginia Penrod of Mercersburg, Pa.; 23 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael A. Kokoski.
Funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Infant Catholic Church, 15 Lanvale St., York Haven. The Rev. Clarence A. Olszewski will be celebrant. Burial will be in Fort Indiantown Gap Cemetery. Military honors will be performed by the 82nd Airborne Association of Mechanicsburg.
Viewing will be held Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Diehl Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Inc., 87 S. Main St., Mount Wolf, Pa.

William A. Nenninger

Born Nov. 16, 1934, in Mowersville, Pa., he was the son of the late Clarence and Clara Doyle Nenninger.

He was retired from the former A&P Supermarket, Baltimore region, as a manager after 29 years of service.
He was a member of Ridge Church of the Brethren, Shippensburg, Pa.
He was a charter member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 842, Chambersburg.
He is survived by a son, Mark A. Nenninger of Mount Air, Md.; two sisters, Mae Holtry and Rose Mary Tritt, both of Shippensburg; two brothers, Harry C. Nenninger and Clarence Nenninger, both of Shippensburg; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, George L. Nenninger.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Harold A. Yeager will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Born April 20, 1966, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of John E. and Betty Atherton Houpt of Mercersburg, Pa.
He was a self-employed carpenter; and was working for Ardelle Martin Carpenters.
He was a member of Lemasters United Methodist Church, Lemasters, Pa., sang in the church choir and was a substitute adult and children's Sunday school teacher.
He was active in St. Thomas Sports Association and helped coach baseball.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Katherine Rotz Houpt; two sons, Johanthon Rion Houpt and Juston Lee Houpt, both at home; aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, 47 N. Park Ave., Mercersburg. The Rev. William R. Bair will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
There will be no viewing.

Robert W. Martin
QUINCY, Pa. - Robert W. Martin, 82, of 8548 Anthony Highway, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Monday, May 8, 2000, at Waynesboro (Pa.) Hospital.
Born March 25, 1918, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Samuel F. and Anna Lillian Showe Martin.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Reichard Martin, in 1996. They were married
in July 1946.
He worked at Frick Co. in Waynesboro and at Dolan and Haase Ford Motor dealerships. He then worked at government installations, Site A near Greencastle, Pa. and Site R near Fort Ritchey.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, and was stationed at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked. He served in the Pacific Theater.
He earned his GED from Waynesboro schools.
He was a member of Solomon's (Grindstone Hill) Evangelical Lutheran Church near Chambersburg, Pa.
He was a member of Acacia Masonic Lodge 586 F & AM of Waynesboro; Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Temple of Harrisburg, Pa.; and Joe Stickell American Legion Post of Waynesboro.
He is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Annette Halliburton of Quincy and Deborah Roberta Martin Kistler of St. James; a sister, June Vantz of Hancock; three grandchildren; nieces; nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Martin.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Solomon's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4856 Wayne Road in Chambersburg. The Rev. Michael Allwein will officiate. Burial will be in Grindstone Hill Cemetery, with military honors by Chambersburg VFW Post 1599 Honor Guard.
There will be no public viewing; however, the family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St. in Greencastle. Acacia Masonic Lodge 586 F & AM of Waynesboro will hold a Masonic service at 8:30 p.m.
