Born Aug. 5, 1943, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Daniel L. and Anna B. Angle Buchanan.
He was employed as a heavy equipment operator by Miller Excavating in Greencastle for 15 years.
He attended Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship in Hagerstown.
He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 992.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Ann Socks Buchanan, whom he married
Sept. 3, 1971; three sons, Robert C. Socks of Marietta, Ga., Jason A. Buchanan and David A. Buchanan, both of Greencastle; six sisters, E. Geraldine Witter, Thelma L. Buchanan, M. Joan Zeger, J. Aileen Reeder and Nancy A. Ebersole, all of Greencastle, and Phyllis E. Shetter of Chambersburg; two brothers, Harry A. Buchanan of Mercersburg, Pa. and Kenneth L. Buchanan of Greencastle; a grandson; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Valance Buchanan.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St. in Greencastle. Pastor Stephen Wagoner will officiate. Burial will be in Broadfording Cemetery in Cearfoss, Md.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Shelba J. King
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Shelba J. King, 58, of Manorcare Health Services, and formerly of 545 Pensinger Road in Greencastle, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at the nursing home.
Born Sept. 20, 1941, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of Mary L. Carmack Reesor of Greencastle, Pa. and the late Claude W. Reesor Sr.
She was employed as a bartender and cook at Mansion House, and had worked at Foot of the Mountain Restaurant, both in Mercersburg.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her companion, William H. Harris of Greencastle; a daughter, Melissa K. King of Chambersburg; two sons, Harvey R. King Jr. of State Line, Pa. and Gary T. King of Biglerville, Pa.; four stepchildren, Sherry Heinbaugh, Brenda Mellott, Tracey Harris and Bill Harris, all of McConnellsburg, Pa.; two sisters, Shirley R. Simmers and Diane C. Davis, both of Greencastle; a brother, Claude W. Reesor Jr. of Greencastle; three grandchildren; and 10 step-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St. in Greencastle. The Rev. Wilbur Benner will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
There will be no public viewing.

Margaret L. Isenberger
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Margaret "Peg" L. Isenberger, 87, of 344 Horst Ave., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, May 12, 2000, at her home.
Born Jan. 4, 1913, in Marion, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Sarah Etter Harmon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin F. Isenberger, in 1981.
She was a Protestant.
She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis DeBrick of Penn-Mar; two sons, Paul V. Sollenberger of Midlothian, Texas, and Robert O. Sollenberger of Chambersburg; two sisters, Evelyn Eckenrode of Chambersburg and Ethel Sherbin of Huntington Beach, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and eight brothers.
Graveside services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Lincoln Cemetery in Chambersburg. Minister Scott Grove will officiate.
There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave. in Chambersburg.
The family requests the omission of flowers.

Miriam E. Small

Born Feb. 28, 1898, in Franklin County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late George and Dora Weyraugh Gomer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Miller Small, in 1966. They were married
April 22, 1922.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Chambersburg.
She was past matron of Martha Custis Order of the Eastern Star 342 of Chambersburg; past president of American Legion Auxiliary 232 of Dry Run, Pa.; and a member of Detrich-Brechbill American Legion Auxiliary of St. Thomas, Pa.
She is survived by a daughter, Dora K. Small Barnes of St. Thomas; four grandchildren, Linda Hendershot of Mercersburg, Pa., Marianne Barnes Gaal of Menno Haven, and George A. Small and Dennis R. Small, both of Fort Loudon, Pa.; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, three sisters and three brothers.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1811 Lincoln Way East in Chambersburg. The Rev. Stephen W. Hoffman will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery in Chambersburg.
There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends today at 1 p.m. at the church.
The family requests the omission of flowers.

Infant girl
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A funeral service for the infant girl who was found in Chambersburg will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road in Chambersburg. The Rev. Harold E. Yeager will officiate. Burial will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Lincoln Cemetery in Chambersburg.
Memorial donations may be made to Baby Grace Memorial Fund, c/o American Community Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 23, Chambersburg, PA 17201. All funds donated will be used to help prevent incidents like this in the future, according to a press release from the funeral home.
Bruce Kunkleman Jr.
SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Bruce "Dick" Kunkleman Jr., 74, of 722 Brenton St., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, May 14, 2000, at Menno Haven, Chambersburg, Pa.
Born Oct. 15, 1925, in Cleversburg area of Southampton Township, Cumberland County, he was the son of the late Bruce and Dessie E. Russell Kunkleman.
He was a 1943 graduate of Shippensburg High School.
He was the owner of Shippen Cleaners, which he founded in 1954. He and his son, Richard, were partners in Vapor Jet Professional Cleaning Services which started in 1972, and Family Laundry, which was started in 1988.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in World War II in the Pacific Theatre.
He was a member of Cleversburg United Methodist Church.
He was a member of North America Hunting Club, Hub City Club, Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post 223 and Durff-Kuhn VFW Post 6168. Earlier in his life he was a baseball player in the Shippensburg and South Central Pennsylvania area.
He was a member of International Fabricare Institute and received the Wood McLaren Award from TriState Carpet Cleaners Association for outstanding contributions to the carpet and restoration industry.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bernita M. "Bee" Ordway Kunkleman; three daughters, Pamela Negley and Stephanie A. Coldsmith, both of Shippensburg, and Kathy L. Keller of Newberg, Pa.; two sons, Richard B. Kunkleman and Jeffrey B. Kunkleman, both of Shippensburg; two sisters, Virginia Long and Sally Cramer, both of Shippensburg; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Gayman.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg. Dr. Francis H. Norton and the Revs. Gregory A. Rapp and Paul L. Tatum will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Green Township.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
Graveside military services will be conducted by the Shippensburg VFW and American Legion Posts.
