Born Oct. 12, 1928, in Rouzerville, she was the daughter of the late Walter N. and Ann R. Rodgers Rowe.

Oct. 2, 1944.
She attended Washington Township schools.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Rouzerville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Lou Wetzel and Donna Bennett, both of Rouzerville, and Barbara Bennett of Waynesboro; four sons, David C. Green Jr. and James R. Green, both of Rouzerville, Michael L. Green and John L. Green, both of Waynesboro; two sisters, Dorcas Branco of Philadelphia and Virginia Wishard of Waynesboro; one brother, Robert Rowe of Waynesboro; 23 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lucy E. Daywalt; and a brother, Raymond R. Rowe.
Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Revs. Joel F. Naugle, Jeffrey S. Swanger and William Parks will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ralph C. Truax
CRYSTAL SPRING, Pa. - Ralph Charles Truax, 62, of 177 Secrest Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, May 23, 2000, at his home.
Born Sept. 3, 1937, in Gem, Pa., he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Catlett Truax.
He retired from Bob Kerns and T.H. Compton as a truck driver after 28 years; and he and Doris Truax managed The Dutch Haus Restaurant in Crystal Spring for 9 years.
He was a Protestant.
He is survived by a close friend, Doris Truax of Crystal Spring; a son, Melvin Truax of Fort Littleton, Pa.; a stepdaughter, Michelle Lynn Douglas of Johnstown, Pa.; a stepson, James Walter Truax of Warfordsburg, Pa.; two brothers, Harold Truax and George Truax, both of Warfordsburg; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Sipes Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Pa. Pastor Lowell Bard will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Needmore, Pa.
Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
John L. Rotz
FORT LOUDON, Pa. - John L. Rotz, 57, of 7620 Path Valley Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Monday, May 22, 2000, at Harrisburg General Hospital.
Born Oct. 30, 1942, in Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph L. and Pauline Nelling Rotz.
He attended James Buchanon High School.
He was the maintenance supervisor for Bartlett Tree Experts.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Fort Loudon.
He was a member of Fort Loudon American Legion; Fort Loudon Men of the Mountain; Chambersburg Elks Club; Mercersburg Moose Club; and Mercersburg VFW.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Robinson Rotz, whom he married
in 1967; a daughter, Brooke Ann Piper of Shade Gap, Pa.; a son, Jody M. Rotz of Fort Loudon; a sister, Barbara Hurst of Fort Loudon; and four brothers, Joseph Rotz, Richard Rotz, Willliam Rotz and Carl Rotz, all of Fort Loudon.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Snider and Ruth Rotz.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home in St. Thomas. The Rev. Barron Barley will officiate. Burial will be in Stenger Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, which will open Friday at 2 p.m.
C. Gladys Gilbert
GREENCASTLE, Pa. - C. Gladys Johns Gilbert, of 14 Antrim Way Apartments and formerly of 436 W. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis A. Gilbert, in 1991. They were married
April 12, 1941.
She attended Waynesboro schools.
She worked as a seamstress for area clothing manufacturing companies. She retired in 1979.
She attended Antrim Assembly of God Church in Greencastle.
She is survived by three daughters, Gwendolyn McReynolds of Virginia Beach, Va., Joyce Bonnett of Panama City Beach, Fla. and Karen Taylor of Greencastle; three sisters, Janet Helfrick of Maryland, Jean Smith of Stuart, Fla. and Dorothy Loy of Spartanburg, S.C.; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon L. Cover; three sisters, Doris C. Thompson, Gwendolyn McBride and Betty Spong; a brother, Richard Johns; and two grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro. The Rev. Rodger D. Berkey will officiate. The Rev. Croft M. Pentz will be the signer. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Nancy L. Weaver

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Weaver, in 1996.
She was a 1959 graduate of Chambersburg High School.
She worked at the Chambersburg Country Club for 10 years. She was employed as a driver by the Franklin County Transportation Authority in Chambersburg, and worked as a sales representative for Avon.
She attended First United Methodist Church in Chambersburg.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Kimberly S. Lindsey of Fayetteville; a son, Richard C. Weaver of Chambersburg; and three grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road in Chambersburg. The Rev. Donald C. Nolder will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery in Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
