Born March 4, 1974, in Chambersburg, he was the son of Dennis E. Hartman of Fayetteville, Pa., and Dana M. Horne Shimer of Hemet, Calif.
He was a 1993 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School, Chambersburg, where he had been a member of the Trojan football team.
He was employed at Knouse Foods, Chambersburg, for six years.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was a member of Burt J. Asper Post 46 American Legion and Landis-McCleaf Detachment Marine Corps League, both of Chambersburg.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Jarrod A. Horne of Hemet; maternal grandmother, Frances Reasner Horne of Fayetteville; paternal grandparents, Rev. Glen E. and Gail Starliper Hartman of Greencastle, Pa.; two aunts; an uncle and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. George S. Mouer Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Margaret L. Fleming

Born in Maugansville, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Lucy Lowery Spickler.
She attended school in Maugansville.
She was a homemaker. She had worked at Moller's Organ Works in Hagerstown.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and had been a member of Broadfording Church and Christ Reformed Church in Hagerstown.
She was a member of St. Paul's Senior Citizen Group. She volunteered with Inglis House.
She is survived by her husband, Albert E. Fleming; one daughter, Alberta J. Bahls of North Haven, Conn.; one son, Terry E. Fleming of Upper Darby, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Arlington Cemetery Chapel, State Road, Drexel Hill, Pa., followed by burial in Arlington Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Arlington Chapel.
Arrangements are by Toppitzer Funeral Home in Drexel Hill.
Martin T. DeShong
HARRISONVILLE, Pa. - Martin T. DeShong, 95, of Pleasant Ridge Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, at Fulton County Medical Center in McConnellsburg, Pa.
Born Aug. 24, 1904, in Harrisonville, he was the son of the late William Henry and Elsie Rebecca DeShong.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Estella M. DeShong, in 1991.
He retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, Pa. He was a farmer.
He was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by two daughters, Marlene Newman of Chambersburg, Pa. and Helen DeShong of McConnellsburg; three sons, Henry DeShong of Hustontown, Pa., Herbert DeShong of Greencastle, Pa. and Martin DeShong Jr. of Rose, N.Y.; a sister, Bernadine Brant of McConnellsburg; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three daughters; four sisters; seven brothers; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Sipes Funeral Home in Harrisonville. Pastor Frank Heidler will officiate. Burial will be in Asbury United Methodist Cemetery in Harrisonville.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m.
Stanley L. Flohr
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - Stanley Lee Flohr, 84, of Masonic Homes, and formerly of 13121 Welty Road, Waynesboro, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, May 27, 2000, at the home.
Born Aug. 16, 1915, in Highfield, he was the son of the late Daniel C. and Susan McClain Flohr.
He attended Smithsburg schools.
He worked at Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a mechanic at Landis Machine Co. in Waynesboro.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Waynesboro.
He was a member of Acacia Lodge 155 Free and Accepted Masons of Thurmont, Md.; and Washington Township Fire Police.
He was a recipient of the Carnegie Honors Medal Award in 1978 for saving a life during a fire.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean McKelvey Hahn Flohr, whom he married
July 3, 1968; two daughters, Susan Cramer of Waynesboro and Candace Moffatt of Hagerstown; two stepdaughters, Sally Bercaw of Waynesboro and Barbara Gunter of Hagerstown; a stepson, Roger Hahn, stationed in Puerto Rico in the U.S. Navy; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 13 sisters and brothers.
Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family at Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro. The Rev. Jay E. Zimmerman will officiate.
It was his request there be no public viewing.
The family requests the omission of flowers.
Memorial donations may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 6 W. Second St., Waynesboro, PA 17268.
Arrangements are by Cumberland Valley Crematorium, Waynesboro.
Bernadette R. Nunemaker
QUINCY, Pa. - Bernadette R. She was a member of Waynesboro Church of the Brethren.
She was a member of National AARP.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Nunemaker, whom she married
Sept. 14, 1956; four sons, Joel E. Nunemaker of Waynesboro, Pa., Cliff A. Nunemaker of Greencastle, Pa., Bradley L. Nunemaker of North Branch, Minn. and Clay D. Nunemaker of Quincy; two sisters, Bonnie L. Sharrah of Waynesboro and Linda L. Urgola of Chambersburg; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro. The Revs. Prudence B. Yelinek and Wilbur F. Besecker will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in Quincy.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
