Born Jan. 26, 1913, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Ira F. and Emma Wenger Foust.
Her first husband, John W. Her second husband, Albert Ricker, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died in 1985.
She was employed as a seamstress at the former Stanley Co., Chambersburg, for over 35 years.
She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Brethren Church, Chambersburg.
She was a member of Jolly 60's, Golden Age Club, AARP and Chambersburg Mall Walkers.
She is survived by a daughter, Janet L. Zeigler of Chambersburg; three sisters, Ruth Bless and Alice Burkholder, both of Chambersburg, and Emma Bless of Wilmington, Del.; two brothers, Ira F. Foust Jr. of Shippensburg, Pa., and Wilbur Foust of Chambersburg; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Kirkpatrick in 1986, a sister and seven brothers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Daryl M. Elliott will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Joseph J. Karvois
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Joseph J. Karvois, 74, of 435 Larkspur Lane, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, April 29, 2000, at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born March 10, 1926, in Shenandoah, Pa., he was the son of the late Peter and Francis Petskus Karvois.
He was a 1944 graduate of Butler Township High School in Butler, Pa., and was in the pre-med program at Penn State University in State College, Pa.
He was employed with Joseph E. Seagrams in Relay, Md., and Williamson, Pa., for 34 years, retiring in 1985 as plant manager. As a teenager he worked in the coal mines in Schuylkill County, Pa.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg, where he served as lector for more than 10 years.
He was a member of Penn State Mont Alto Alumna Association, Knights of Columbus 1426, Catholic War Veterans, AMVETS Post 224, B.P.O. Elks Lodge 600, Loyal Order of Moose 842, Chambersburg Mall Walkers, and National and Falling Spring Chapter 2840 of AARP. He was a life member of Penn State Alumna Association, Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW, Burt J. Asper Post 46 American Legion, and a social member of Landis McCleaf Detachment of the Marine Corps League.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine M. Forester Karvois, whom he married
July 28, 1951; two daughters, Nancy Lockman of Mechanicsburg, Pa., and Trina Black of Chambersburg; a son, Paul J. Karvois of Voorhees, N.J.; a sister, Eleanor Connel of Girardville, Pa.; a brother, Leo Karvois of St. Clair, Pa.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg. Monsignor Thomas R. Brenner will be celebrant. Entombment will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg. Military graveside services will be conducted by members of Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW Honor Guard.
Visitation will be Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by three sons, Edward Palmer Jr. and Kenneth D. Palmer, both of St. Thomas, Robert J. Palmer of Fort Edward, N.Y.; two brothers, Robert Rowe of West Glens Falls and Carl Rowe of Vineland, N.J.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held later in the week. Burial will be in Pineville Cemetery, Glens Falls.
Visitation will be held today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.

He was a life member of Knights of Columbus and a member of Rockville Centre N.Y. Lions Club, where he was active for 66 years. In March 2000, three members of his club presented him with a proclamation from Mayor Eugene Murray and N.Y. State Senator Dean Skelos honoring him for his untiring volunteerism.
He is survived by five nieces and two nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. The Rev. Daniel F. Lawler S.J. will be celebrant. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lions Club.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Burns Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro. The Rev. Christopher Frye will officiate.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 220 N. Charles St., Red Lion. The Rev. Anne-Rose Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in Falmouth United Church Cemetery near Elizabethtown, Pa.
There will be no viewing.
