Hospital.
Born Feb. 9, 1915, in Upton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles K. and Irma Noonan Palsgrove.
Her husband of 47 years, Warren L. Shaner, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died in 1983.
She was last employed for 10 years as a cook for Meals on Wheels.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Chambersburg, sang in the choir, served on the Altar Guild and W.E.L.C.A.
She was a member of AARP and Golden Age Club and a volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley I. Shaner of Chambersburg; one son, Charles F. Shaner of West Chester, Pa.; and one brother, Dale C. Palsgrove of Chambersburg.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg. The Rev. Steven D. Dorsett and Chaplain Samuel J. Troyer will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens near Chambersburg.
Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday at 10 a.m.

Ralph W. Lawrence
GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Ralph W. Lawrence, 80, of 12270 Malissa Drive, and formerly of Irwin, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at ManorCare Health Services in Chambersburg, Pa.
Born Sept. 27, 1919, in Monroeville, Pa., he was the son of the late George and Lillian Anderson Lawrence.
He retired in 1983 after 22 years with Mack Trucks in Hagerstown. He previously was employed by Pennsylvania Railroad in Pittsburgh, and in construction and home building in the Pittsburgh area.
A U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he served in the European Theater.
He was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greencastle, was an usher and Sunday school treasurer.
He was a member of Golden Bulldogs of Mack Trucks, Waynesboro Y.M.C.A., Greencastle Senior Citizen Center, Harry D. Zeigler V.F.W. Post 6319 of Greencastle, Chambersburg Cancer Support Group, and delivered for Meals on Wheels locally.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 52 years, Betty L. Long Lawrence; three daughters, Patty Pietropoali of Delmont, Pa., Bonnie Hade and Barb Gayman, both of Greencastle; one son, Brian M. Lawrence of Baltimore; one sister, Alice Pentz of McKeesport, Pa.; one brother, Roy Lawrence of Monroeville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, one brother and a great-grandson.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Evangelical Lutheran Church, 130 N. Washington St., Greencastle. The Rev. Martin Horn will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg with military honors by Chambersburg V.F.W. Post 1599 Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St. in Greencastle Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Friday at the church at noon. Greencastle V.F.W. Post 6319 will hold a memorial service Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Stanley C. Sweeney

Born April 16, 1926, in Shepherdstown, W.Va., he was the son of the late Victor and Nora Otzelberger Sweeney.
He retired in 1981 from Mack Trucks in Hagerstown, after about 15 years.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during World War II.
He was a member of Greenwood Hills Assembly in Fayetteville.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Fulton Sweeney, whom he married
Nov. 15, 1957; one daughter, Sue Keck of Fayetteville; one son, Stanley C. Sweeney II of Fayetteville; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mina Foltz; and a brother, Percy Sweeney.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road in Chambersburg. Scott Blair will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
Visitation will be Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Eyer George, whom he married
June 27, 1959; two daughters, Denise Marie Rhodes of Marina, Calif., and Teresa Lynch of Chambersburg; and two grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Ave., Chambersburg. The Rev. Daniel H. Kelchner will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, with military services by Chambersburg VFW Post 1599.
The family will receive friends Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

She was a member of King's Apostle Holiness Church of God of Cove Gap, served as a missionary and sang in the choir.
She is survived by her husband, William E. "Willie" Cuff, whom she married
Nov. 1, 1958; five daughters, Jessica A. Cuff, Suzanne R. Cuff and Bonita R. Cuff, all of St. Thomas, Tanya R. Wells of Fayetteville, Pa., and Candice E. Cuff of Chambersburg; a son, Timothy L. Cuff of St. Thomas; four sisters, Helen McCoy of Hagerstown, Betty Keith, Janice Keith and Carolyn Keith, all of Mercersburg; three brothers, Joseph Keith of Arizona, Kenneth Keith of Greencastle, Pa., and Harry Keith of Mercersburg; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, two sisters and a brother.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, 47 N. Park Ave., Mercersburg. The Revs. Patricia Tillman and Vera M. Keith will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Union Cemetery, Mercersburg.
A viewing will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday at noon at the funeral home.
