STATE LINE, Pa. - Vera Genevieve Livengood Hickman, 75, of 171 East Ave., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, April 2, 2000, at Waynesboro Hospital in Waynesboro.
Born March 21, 1925, in Farmington, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John H. and Stella May Bingaman Livengood.
Her husband, James T. Hickman, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Jan. 9, 1992.
She attended Canaan School in Gibbon Glade, Pa.
Early in her life she was employed by Greencastle Shoe Factory in Greencastle, Pa. Prior to retiring in 1986. she was employed as a presser at Stanley Co., later known as J.J. Schoeneman Co. in Chambersburg, Pa.
She had been a member of Canaan Church of the Brethren.
She was a member of National AARP.
She is survived by two daughters, Audrey L. Lester of Strasburg, Va., and Sheila M. Burkett of State Line; two sons, Timothy M. Hickman of State Line and Matthew J. Hickman of Williamsport; one sister, Wyona Dennis of Gibbon Glade; five brothers, Darrow Livengood of Madison Heights, Wis., William Livengood of Gibbon Glade, Wendall Livengood, Stayton Livengood and Landis Livengood, all of Farmington, Pa.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Fenton Livengood and Earl Livengood.
Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at State Line United Methodist Church. The Rev. Guy W. Camp III and the Rev. Harold Hollister will officiate. Burial will be in Beautiful View Cemetery, State Line.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Miller-Grove Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St. in Greencastle.

Robert J. Reeder
MCCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Robert J. Reeder, 63, of 1180 Lincoln Way East, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, April 2, 2000, at Fulton Co. Medical Center, McConnellsburg.
Born Aug. 17, 1936, in Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Charles M. and Ruth Hendershot Reeder.
He had been a teacher for East Berlin Schools for six years and then for 12 years in the Greencastle schools. For the past 22 years he owned and operated the Flower Basket and Gift Box in McConnellsburg. He had also owned and operated the Robert J. Reeder Video business in Fulton County.
He was a member of McConnellsburg United Methodist Church, where he had been in the choir for many years. He started the Video Ministry in the church about 15 years ago.
He was a member of Mount Zion Lodge 774 F. & A.M. and had been a past master of the lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Gordon Reeder, whom he married
June 30, 1962; two sisters, Nellie R. Kelso and Almyra Keefer, both of McConnellsburg, and a brother, C. Harry Reeder of McConnellsburg.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Ella Mae Reeder.
Memorial services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at McConnellsburg United Methodist Church. The Rev. Donald Bard will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, which will be open from 2 to 9 p.m.

Emma E. Wingert

Born Feb. 28, 1915, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Lizzie Snoke Wingert.
She was retired from the former Stanley Co., Chambersburg, after many years of service.
She was a member of New Guilford Brethren in Christ Church, Chambersburg, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the sewing circle.
She is survived by five sisters, Rachel Wiles, Hannah Winger, Naomi Nicarry and Clara Ashway, all of Chambersburg, and Pearl Musser of Orrstown, Pa.; a brother, Ernest Wingert of Chambersburg; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Wingert.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at New Guilford Brethren in Christ Church, 1575 Mont Alto Road, Chambersburg. The Revs. Robert D. Verno and Maurice Bender will officiate. Burial will be in Air Hill Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, and Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.

Lowell A. Lauver
MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Lowell A. Born Aug. 31, 1919, near Mercersburg, he was the son of the late J. Alvy and Lillian Potts Lauver.
He was a farmer.
He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mercersburg and had served on the council.
He is survived by his wife, Almira Mellott Lauver, whom he married
Sept. 9, 1942; one daughter, Wynell M. Lauver of Atlanta.; two sons, Lindy C. Lauver of Great Falls, Va., Dr. Phillip E. Lauver of Mount Lake Park, Md.; and four grandchildren.
He was the last of his immediate family.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, 47 N. Park Ave., Mercersburg. The Rev. Michael R. Brendle will officiate. Burial will be in Cito Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, Pa.
Viewing will be Friday at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services.

Frances E. Kell
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Frances E. Born Oct. 13, 1911, in Washington County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Denton and Edith Oberholzer Berger.
She was a homemaker and in her earlier life she had worked at the former Fairchild Aircraft of Hagerstown and Landis Machine of Waynesboro, Pa.
She was a member of Marion United Methodist Church and a member of Women's Bible Class of the Sunday School.
She helped in the food preparation for the banquets and sales served by the Kauffman Ruritan Club at Kauffman Community Center.
She was a member of South Chapter of the Waynesboro AARP.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lloyd F. Kell, a daughter, Lois J. Shatzer of Waynesboro; two sons, Lloyd F. Kell Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., and James A. Kell of Girard, Pa.; four sisters, Helen Gsell of Waynesboro, Anna Rock of Chambersburg, Edith Miller and Beulah Harshman, both of Greencastle, Pa.; a brother, Paul Berger of Waynesboro; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle. The Rev. Guy W. Camp III will officiate. Burial will be in Browns Mill Cemetery, Kauffman.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
