CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Amelia A. Rossi, 95, a resident of Manorcare Health Services and formerly of Waynesboro, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, April 6, 2000, at Manorcare.
Born Sept. 12, 1904, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Catherine S. Mancone Rossi.
She graduated from high school and nursing school.
She was employed as a registered nurse.
She is survived by three sisters, Edith C. Woodland of Wallingford, Pa., Virginia T. Neigh of Perryville, Md., and Victoria M. Mitchell of Cincinnati; a brother, John P. Rossi of Greensburg, Pa.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 12 N. Broad St. in Waynesboro. The Rev. Thomas J. Hemler will be celebrant.
It was her request to have no public viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew Cemetery Fund, 12 N. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA 17268.
Arrangements are by Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
Ronald M. Sprenkle
AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ronald M. Sprenkle, 60, of Augusta, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, April 1, 2000, at his home.
Born July 11, 1939, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of C. Leone Sprenkle of Waynesboro and the late Merle H. Sprenkle.
He was a 1957 graduate of Waynesboro High School.
He retired from the U.S. Army as a Sergeant 1st Class.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
He was a Protestant.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pauline Sprenkle of Augusta; three stepchildren; two brothers, Rodger H. Sprenkle of Chambersburg, Pa., and Randall Sprenkle of Waynesboro; four step-granddaughters; a niece; four nephews; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
Services were held Tuesday, April 4, 2000, in Augusta with full military honors conducted by the U.S. Army Ceremonial Detachment from Fort Gordon, Ga.
Elizabeth A. Worhach
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Elizabeth Ann Worhach, 72, of 130 Ritchey Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, April 7, 2000, at Chambersburg Hospital in Chambersburg, Pa.
Born Oct. 29, 1927, in Atlas, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Theresa Berenic Kovalovich.
She had been a restoration aid at South Mountain Restoration Center prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg.
She is survived by her husband, John M. Worhach, whom she married
April 6, 1951; two daughters, Teresa A. Kissinger of Cleona, Pa., and Frances W. Staley of Fayetteville; three sons, John Worhach of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Mark Worhach of Newton, Va., and David Worhach of Greencastle, Pa.; three sisters, Mary Mills of Wilmington, Del., Theresa Pluta of Levittown, Pa., and Josephine Starinshak of Stowe, Pa.; three brothers, Paul Kovalovich of Johnstown, N.Y., Andrew Kovalovich of Mount Carmel, Pa., and Joseph Kovalovich of East Fallowfield, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Kovalovich.
Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.

Irene L. Hogle
SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Irene L. Hogle, 72, of 195 Park Heights Ave., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, April 8, 2000, at her home.
Born March 17, 1928, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Fecso Matesz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Hogle, in 1983.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg, Pa.
She sang with the Corpus Christi Folk Choir, and was a member of Columbia Ladies.
She is survived by four daughters, Cheryl Adams of Powhatan, Va., Marge Tavarez of Anaheim, Calif., Jean Majewski of Everett, Wash., and Kathleen Dillon of Chambersburg; a son, Richard Hogle of Schenectady, N.Y.; five sisters, Ann Gasser, Betty Gueli and Mary Bukowski, all of Toledo, Helen Pratt of London, Ontario Canada, and Rose Simpson of Sun City, Calif.; a brother, John Matesz of Toledo; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Matesz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Ave. in Chambersburg. The Rev. Luis R. Rodriguez will be celebrant. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. with a rosary prayer service at 8 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road in Chambersburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cline, in 1981.
She worked at Sagner Inc. in McConnellsburg, Pa., for 12 years.
She was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church in Needmore.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Mellott of Warfordsburg, Pa.; two sons, Lester Guessford of Dover, Pa., and Robert Guessford of Needmore; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Elvey Seiders, Edmond Seiders, Herman Seiders and Norman Seiders.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Sipes Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Pa. The Revs. Denver Plessinger and Delmas Bard will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in McConnellsburg.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
