Born March 17, 1915, in Antrim Township, Pa., he was the son of the late Rev. John F. and Almeda Landis Grove.
His first wife, Evelyn P. Grove, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died May 6, 1970.
He was a graduate of Greencastle High School; and attended Eastern Mennonite College in Harrisonburg, Va.
He co-founded and served as the former president and CEO of Grove Manufacturing, now known as Grove Worldwide, for 25 years.
He was a member of Cedar Grove Mennonite Church near Greencastle.
He was a former member of the board of directors of First National Bank of Greencastle; and served on various of the company's board of directors.
He was a member of Waynesboro Country Club.
He is survived by his second wife, Leona A. "Lee" Wehry Grove, whom he married
Aug. 28, 1971; two sisters, Ruth G. West of Edgewater, Md. and Esther G. Johnson of Chambersburg; two brothers, John L. Grove of Greencastle and Ethan L. Grove of Berlin, Md.; a foster brother, Robert Lockbaum of Chambersburg; a stepson, James D. Davis of Camp Hill, Pa.; two stepgranddaughters; two stepgreat-granddaughters, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Naomi A. Shohat and Lois G. Baer.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle. The Revs. Robert Cahill and Nelson Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Lucille B. Brewer
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Lucille B. Weller Brewer, 82, of Hoover House, 227 W. Main St., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, March 25, 2000, at Hoover House.
Born Dec. 21, 1917, in Wheaton, Md., she was the daughter of the late Parker L. and Marry Surratt Weller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Brewer, whom she married
Nov. 5, 1938.
She was a 1938 graduate of the University of Maryland.
She taught math and physical education at Kensington Junior High School in Maryland for four years.
She was a member of St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, Waynesboro; and a former member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Barnesville, Md.
She helped at the Lunch Place.
She is survived by two daughters, Purdence Jane Egan of Reno, Nev., and Elisabeth B. DeGraft of Pfaftown, N.C.; a son, Charles R. Brewer of Waynesboro; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis P. Weller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Barnesville. Burial will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville, Md.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lochstampfor Funeral Home, Waynesboro. A Christian wake service will be held at 8 p.m. by Father Thomas Hemler.

Leah M. Hollengreen

Born Feb. 16, 1906 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. and Cora M. Morgal Fisher.

Oct. 4, 1930.
She attended Clayton Avenue and Snider Avenue schools. She was a graduate of George School in Newtown, Pa., and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Maryland College for Women in 1925.
She was a member of Waynesboro Presbyterian Church, had sung in the choir; and served as an elder.
She was a member of Waynesboro College Club; Waynesboro Hospital Auxiliary; Waynesboro Country Club; Waynesboro Historical Society; and Antietam Humane Society of Waynesboro.
She is survived by a son, Jon F. Hollengreen of Waynesboro; three granddaughters, Laura H. Hollengreen of Arizona, Katherine M. Hollengreen of Virginia and Amy H. Hollengreen of New Hampshire; a great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Milburn A. Hollengreen Jr.; a sister, Evelyn F. Miller; and brother, Carl L. Fisher.
Services will be announced in mid-April by Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

Gerald B. Strite

Born Nov. 18, 1936, in Washington County, Md., he was the son of the late Earl C. and Ada M. Burkholder Strite.
He retired in 1999 from Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, after 26 years. He worked in Electronics.
He was a member of Air Hill Brethren in Christ Church, Chambersburg, was a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and sound technician. He was on the Sound Committee at Roxbury (Pa.) Holiness Campa.
He is survived by his wife, Esther J. Crider Strite, whom he married
Oct. 19, 1957; three daughters, Deborah A. Sollenberger of Waynesboro, Mary G. Bert of Fayetteville, Pa., and Lois M. Allen of Chambersburg; a son, Carl E. Strite of Chambersburg; a sister, Louise B. Hunsecker of Chambersburg; three brothers, Clarence B. Strite and Mahlon B. Strite, both of Chambersburg, and Russell B. Strite of Gettysburg, Pa.; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Orville B. Strite.
Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Air Hill Brethren in Christ Church, Chambersburg. The Revs. R. Leroy Eberly and James Sollenberger will officiate. Burial will be in Air Hill Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, and Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the church.

She was a gradate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School; and Hagerstown Junior College, Hagerstown.
She had been employed by Sprint Telephone Co. for 30 years.
She was a member of Zion Covenant Church, Chambersburg, taught Sunday school and was active in church activities.
She had been a Girl Scout Leader in Chambersburg.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sisters, Deborah Brookens of Fayetteville, Bobbi Gillespie and Wendy Grove, both of Chambersburg; three nieces; three nephews; aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Zion Covenant Church, Chambersburg. The Rev. Robert C. Kochert will officiate. Private burial will be Wednesday in Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg, prior to the service.
There will be no viewing.
The family requests the omission of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201; or to Zion Covenant Church, 1102 Locust St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
