Born June 6, 1909, in Newtown Square, Pa., he was the son of the late Henry and Anna Hutton Forsythe.
His first wife, Dorothy Brown Forsythe, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Oct. 22, 1981. His second wife, Katherine Lampkin Forsythe, whom he married

He graduated from high school in 1926 in Barnesville, Ohio; and attended Drexel Institute of Technology in Philadelphia, where he trained in drafting and mechanical engineering.
He retired in 1972 from Boeing/Vertol in Morton, Pa., where he was employed as a mechanical engineer.
He was a member of Springfield Friends Meeting in Springfield, Pa.
He volunteered at Menno Haven.
He is survived by two daughters, Elsie Kinter of Spring Hill, Fla., and Irene Antone of Still Pond, Md.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Forsythe and Helen Satterthwait; and one brother, Richard Forsythe.
A memorial service will be held Saturday with details to be announced. Burial will be in Oaklands Cemetery in West Chester, Pa., at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by Cumberland Valley Crematory, Waynesboro, Pa.
Goldie M. Evans

Born Jan. 4, 1913, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Lillian M. Brant Wible.

She was a self-employed domestic worker for more than 20 years.
She is survived by a son, Laroy Evans of Chambersburg; two stepdaughters, Nancy Grant of Ephrata, Pa., and Sally A. Vaughn of Chambersburg; and two granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Kendall and William Kendall; and two brothers, Melvin Wible and Earl Wible.
Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Lincoln Cemetery, 990 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg. The Rev. Stephen W. Hoffman will officiate.
Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
Lucille M. Beatty
MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Lucille M. She was preceded in death by two sons.
Services will be Wednesday at noon at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg. The Rev. Wilbur F. Besecker will officiate. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.

He was a member of George Washington Lodge 143 F & AM, Harrisburg Consistory, Zembo Temple and Tall Cedars of Lebanon. He was a member of B.P.O. Elks 600, Chambersburg Club, Penn State Alumni Association, Izaak Walton League, CV Hose Co. 5; and a social member of Charles Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW and Landis McCleaf detachment Marine Corps League. He was a former member of Chambersburg School Board and had served on the advisory board for Penn State Mont Alto campus.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Gontz Beardslee; one daughter, Lois I. Weaverling of Chambersburg; two sons, Paul W. Beardslee of Elkins, W.Va., and Edward C. Beardslee of Millersville, Pa.; two sisters, Barbara Lynch of Towanda, Pa., and Helen Eddy of Troy, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Chambersburg. The Rev. Neal O. Hively will officiate. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Neal Chapel, where members of George Washington Lodge 143 F & AM will conduct a Masonic service at 10 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 26 W. Commerce St., Chambersburg, PA 17201; or Penn Hall, 1425 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Vernon D. Isner will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
Visitation will be Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army Corps, 159 Lincoln Way West, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
