WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Pearl E. Reed Warren, 88, of 224 S. Church St., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at her home.
Born Sept. 12, 1911, she was the daughter of the late John Elmer and Sarah Elizabeth Cashman Reed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guernon C. "Jack" Warren, in 1988. They were married
Dec. 20, 1947.
She had been employed as a machine operator at Landis Machine Co. in Waynesboro; was a nurse's assistant in Dr. Harmon's Chiropractic Clinic in Hagerstown; and prior to retiring in 1976 was a home health aide in the Waynesboro area.
She was a member of Wayne Heights Brethren Church in Waynesboro.
She was a past member of Waynesboro Chapter of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Club. She volunteered at Quincy United Methodist Home in Quincy.
She is survived by a daughter, Christine Smith of Hapeville, Ga.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a niece and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Laura Elizabeth Wetzel and Grace Eva Sanders.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro. The Rev. Harold W. Walton will officiate. Burial will be in Harbaugh Church Cemetery in Rouzerville, Pa.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Frances M. Jenkins
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Frances M. Jenkins, 70, of 11951 Oakton Drive, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, March 8, 2000, at Waynesboro Hospital.
Born Oct. 11, 1929, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late William Collier and Lillian Irene Siegrist Jenkins.
She was a graduate of Quincy High School. She attended American University in Washington, D.C.
She was employed as a data processor at A.H. Robins Pharmaceutical Co. in Richmond, Va., retiring in 1990.
She attended St. Andrew Catholic Church in Waynesboro.
She is survived by cousins.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro. The Rev. Thomas J. Hemler will officiate.
Private burial services will be held at the convenience of the family at Quincy Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Priscilla L. Ray

She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee "Robbie" Ray Jr., whom she married
April 29, 1996; and a brother, Richard Walker Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.
Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro, Pa. The Rev. Charles B. Jessen will officiate. Burial will be in Grindstone Hill Cemetery in Chambersburg, Pa.
The family will receive friends Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Alice L. Weddle
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Alice L. She attended Washington Township High School.
She was a member and past president of William Max McLaughlin VFW Post 695 Ladies Auxiliary of Waynesboro; a member of Joe Stickell American Legion Post 15 Ladies Auxiliary of Waynesboro; and National AARP.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph G. Weddle Jr., whom she married
Nov. 18, 1944; a daughter, Karen L. McLucas of Ortanna, Pa.; two sons, Paul E. Weddle and Ken E. Weddle, both of Waynesboro; four sisters, Florence Miller of Quincy, Pa., Katherine Mowen of Chambersburg, Pa., Phyllis Lightner of Marion, Pa. and Darlene Bricker of Waynesboro; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Wyatt W. Weddle and Lee A. Weddle; and a brother, Earl Harbaugh.
Services will be Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro. Pastor Steven Amundson will officiate. Burial will be in Jacob's Church Cemetery in Liberty Township, Pa.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Sylvia J. Truax

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Filmore Samuel Canby.
She retired as a seamstress from Darjan Mills of Lebanon.
She was a Methodist.
She is survived by her husband, Roger J. Truax Sr.; three sons, Ricky L. Canby Sr., Preston K. Truax and Roger J. Truax Jr., all of Lebanon; six sisters, Janice Thompson of Doubs, Md., Roberta Janesko and Cheryl Updegraff, both of Lebanon, Brenda Riegel of Schuylkill Haven, Pa., Mary Susan Schell of Hummelstown, Pa. and Cindy Lou Keller of Palmyra, Pa.; three brothers, Dennis D. Shade of Lebanon, Oscar L. Thompson of Schuylkill Haven and Steven C. Thompson of Tucson, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Shade.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. Dr. G. Edward Grove will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Glenn B. George
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Glenn B. George, 88, of Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and formerly of 334 S. Born Dec. 10, 1911, in Quincy, Pa., he was the son of the late Curtis L. George and Stella M. Binkley George Koons.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie I. Detrich George, in 1988.
He retired after 25 years with T.B. Woods Sons of Chambersburg.
He was a member of Open Door Church in Chambersburg.
He is survived by a son, Glenn E. George of Chambersburg; a stepson, Wesley Cool of Shippensburg, Pa.; a sister, Janet Newcomer of Waynesboro, Pa.; two brothers, Kenneth E. George of Chambersburg and Russell M. George of Shady Grove, Pa.; two stepsisters, Naomi Doll of Hagerstown and Ruth Plum of Martinsburg, W.Va.; a stepbrother, George Koons of Greencastle, Pa.; two grandchildren; a step-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister; a brother; and two stepbrothers.
Services will be private. The Rev. Arthur Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Chambersburg.
Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
