Born July 30, 1954, in Paris, France, she was the daughter of Ethel Melhorn Etzler of South Mountain, Pa., and the late Robert W. Etzler Sr.
She was a 1974 graduate of Waynesboro High School.
She was employed for 11 years as a nurse's aide at South Mountain Restoration Center.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Daniel Ringenary of Waynesboro; three brothers, Richard Etzler of Decatur, Ala., Robert Etzler Jr. of Florida and Donald Etzler of Robbinsville, N.J.; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Mervil R. Stambaugh will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends Friday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family requests the omission of flowers.
Mabel H. Berkenbaugh
QUINCY, Pa. - Mabel H. Harvey Berkenbaugh, 89, of Quincy United Methodist Home, and formerly of Trinity House, 25 N. Potomac St., Waynesboro, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, at the nursing home.
Born Nov. 5, 1910, in Kitzmiller, Md., she was the daughter of the late George W. and Grace M. Rawlings Harvey.

in 1934.
She worked for Kelly Tires in Bethesda, Md.; for Hecht's Department Store in Bethesda for 20 years; and was a home care nurse in the Bethesda area until 1977.
She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cumberland, Md., St. Paul's Catholic Church in Portsmouth, Va., and St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Waynesboro.
She was a member of AARP.
She is survived by a son, Howard R. Berkenbaugh of Pamona, N.J.; a stepson, John G. Berkenbaugh of Cumberland; a sister, Elizabeth Richards of Manassas, Va.; a brother, Dewey E. Harvey of Hagerstown; two grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John T. Harvey.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Thomas J. Hemler will officiate. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday at 9:30 a.m. There will be no public viewing.

Hazel V. Black
McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Hazel Victoria "Peg" Black, 84, of Long Term Care Unit of Fulton County Medical Center, and formerly of HC 2, Waterfall, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, at the medical center.
Born March 31, 1915, in Six Mile Run, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Fred and Myrtle Hedges Black.
She was a homemaker and retired from the Waterfall post office, where she was a part-time clerk.
She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Waterfall.
She is survived by her husband, Cloyd "Pat" Black, whom she married
Nov. 5, 1936; four sons, Fred Black of Waterfall, Charles Black of Breezewood, Pa., Leonard Dale Black of Connellsville, Pa., and Rex Black of Hustontown, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Patrick Black; two sisters; four brothers; and a granddaughter.
Services will be Saturday at noon at M.R. Brown Funeral Home, Hustontown. Pastor George Clippinger will officiate. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, New Grenada, Pa.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m.

Florence C. Remson

Services will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Robert Keener will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Lawn National Cemetery, Long Island, N.Y.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Ralph B. Middaugh

May 15, 1986; two daughters, Judy E. Johnson of Fort Loudon, Pa., and Stella M. Coldwell of Altoona, Pa.; three sons, William B. Middaugh of Shippensburg, Bruce E. Middaugh of Concord, Pa., and Blain E. Middaugh of Doylesburg; two sisters, Lottie Harris of Doylesburg, and Violet Hobble of Norristown, Pa.; one brother, Jesse L. Mddaugh of Doylesburg; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 30 stepgrandchildren; and 40 stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Donald Middaugh; two sisters, and one brother.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at John L. Agett Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run. The Rev. Marlin A. Neil will officiate. Burial will be in Doylesburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday at 10 a.m.

She was a member of Hollowell Brethren in Christ Church in Waynesboro, the Goldenaires, sewing circle, and Kingdom Builders Sunday School Class.
She also was a member of AARP.
She is survived by two sons, Larry E. Shew and Marvin L. Shew, both of Greencastle; three sisters, Janet Shew, Loretta Mickey and Esther Baer, all of Chambersburg; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Kathryn Anderson; and one brother, Richard Davis.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. James Sollenberger will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
