McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Ruby Charlotte Swope, 76, of the Extended Care Unit of Fulton County Medical Center, and formerly of Wooden Bridge Road, Three Springs, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2000, at Fulton County Medical Center.
Born June 13, 1923, in Fulton County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Pearl Ott Miller.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in McConnellsburg.
She is survived by three sisters, Shelby Foster, LaGretta Runk and Beverly Cutshall, all of Three Springs; two nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Floyd J. Miller.
Services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at M. R. Brown Funeral Home, Hustontown, Pa. The Revs. Henry Johnson and Dan Porterfield will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in McConnellsburg.
Friends may call today from 2 to 9 p.m. and Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m.
Robert G. Quinn
MALVERN, Pa. - Robert G. Quinn, 63, of Malvern, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, in Florida.
Born June 14, 1936, in Beaver Falls, Pa., he was the son of the late Edwin and Gertrude Quinn.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rosalie Werley Quinn of Malvern, Pa.; five children, Loretta J. Brooks of Damascus, Md., Thomas A. Quinn of Gulph Mills, Pa., Maria L. Quinn of Leesburg, Va., Stephanie R. Sherer of Lansdale, Pa., and Christopher F. Quinn of Fort Mill, S.C.; one brother, the Rev. Kieran Quinn of Charleston, W.Va.; one sister, Lucille M. Stape of Mesa, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; 24 nieces and nephews.
A memorial Mass was held Saturday, Feb. 5, at St. Norbert's Catholic Church in Paoli.
Memorial donations may be made to Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Dr. Robert G. Quinn Scholarship Fund, Drexel University, 3141 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, PA 19104.
Arrangements were by Alleva Funeral Home in Paoli.

Born July 10, 1910, in Wenksville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Wilfie R. and Carrie Freed Peters.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Chambersburg.
She is survived by her husband, Earl W. Crum, whom she married
May 4, 1935; one son, Gary L. Crum of Chambersburg, Pa.; one sister, Vesta Peters Jessop of New Oxford, Pa.; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at noon at St. John's United Church of Christ, Chambersburg. The Rev. Stephen W. Hoffman will officiate. Burial will be in Center View Cemetery in Biglerville.
There will be no viewing. Friends will be received in the church parlor one hour prior to the service.

Harold A. Palmer
WARFORDSBURG, Pa. - Harold A. Palmer, 88, of White Oak Hollow Road, and formerly of Stafford County, Va., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Nov. 27, 1911, in Fulton County, Pa., he was the son of the late Walter Howard and Opal Ella Sharpe Palmer.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lola Riehl, in 1948; and by his second wife, Maude Holmes, in 1993.
He was a 1931 graduate of Warfordsburg High School.
He was a construction project supervisor for the Department of Defense based in Quantico, Va.
He was a member of Triangle Baptist Church in Triangle, Va.
He was a former member and officer of Stafford County Red Cross; a member of Warfordsburg I.O.O.F. 601; and Stafford Virginia Lions Club.
He is survived by a son, Larry W. Palmer of Warfordsburg; a brother, Floyd S. Palmer of Warfordsburg; and two grandsons, Chris H. Palmer and Bret L. Palmer.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Cedar Grove Christian Church in Warfordsburg. The Revs. Tim Close and Clint Bahrenburg will officiate. Burial will be in the church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock; and Friday at 1 p.m. at the church. The funeral home will be open today from noon.

She is survived by her husband, Lyle E. Bowers, whom she married
Nov. 22, 1950; two daughters, Ginger Barnhart of Mechanicsburg, Pa. and Bonnie Clugston of Chambersburg; a son, Richard Bowers of Chambersburg; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Wiestling.
Services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Second Evangelical Lutheran Church, 240 E. Washington St., Chambersburg. Pastors Ruth I. Smith and David W. Kreider will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
There will be no public viewing.

She was a member of Orrstown United Brethren Church, Orrstown, Pa.
She is survived by three daughters, Gail Caufield of Fort Smith, Ark., Bonnie Robison of Chambersburg and Eileen Kane of Marion; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Orrstown United Brethren Church, 3701 Orrstown Road. The Rev. Robert P. Conway will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
There will be no public viewing; the family will receive friends Friday at 10 a.m. at the church.
The family requests the omission of flowers.
