Born Sept. 7, 1928, in New Bavaria, Ohio, he was the son of the late Floyd J. and Loretta Weaver Rothman.
He retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg in 1985.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg.
He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Rothman; a daughter, Theresa Ramsey of Chambersburg; a brother, Robert Rothman of St. David, Ariz.; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg. Monsignor Thomas Brenner will be celebrant. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
There will be no viewing.
The family requests the omission of flowers.

Garnet C. Rotz

Born Oct. 18, 1917, in St. Thomas, Pa., he was the son of the late William C. and Ruth Keller Rotz.
He worked as a meat cutter for Swift Co. until the plant closed. Later, he worked as a custodian at Guilford Hills School until his retirement.
He was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church in Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife, Helen M. Armstrong Rotz, whom he married
Jan. 4, 1941; two sons, Marlin R. Rotz of Camp Hill, Pa., and Lynn C. Rotz of Chambersburg; a sister, Evelyn Sites of Chambersburg; a brother, Percy S. Rotz of Chambersburg; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 6492 Lincoln Way West in St. Thomas. The Rev. Robert E. Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mary J. High
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Mary Jane High, 71, of 38 Kock Circle, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, Pa.
Born April 8, 1928, in McConnellsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Arthur M.F. and Elsie N. Naugle Ewing.
She was a graduate of St. Thomas High School in St. Thomas, Pa.
She retired in 1985 from her position as a naturalist at Caledonia State Park in Fayetteville.
She was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Chambersburg, Pa.
She was a member of Conococheague Audubon Society.
She is survived by her husband, James S. High, whom she married
Oct. 28, 1955; one stepson, Reynolds Fortney of St. Thomas; one sister, Norma J. Adkins of Scotland, Pa.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a number of nieces and nephews; and one goddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Earl L. Summers will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to services.
Neal F. Randell
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Neal Franklin Randell, 63, of Chambersburg, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at his home.
Born Oct. 14, 1936, in Malden, Mass., he was the son of the late Herbert Maxwell and Agnes Tavenor Randell.
He was an actor and director in the tri-state area, and later, a professional actor in New York and abroad.
He worked as chief interpreter and park historian for the National Park Service in Harpers Ferry National Historical Park in West Virginia.
He was elected mayor of Harpers Ferry in 1981.
He served in the U.S. Marines.
He was an active member of The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, where he campaigned and marched for equality, and he worked to increase public understanding of African American history.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Lloyd Randell; three sons, Neal Jeremy Randell, Jeffrey Eugene Randell and Timothy Michael Randell; two brothers, Herbert William Randell and Ralph Tavenor Randell; and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael John Connors, and a grandson.
At his request, there will be no services or visitation.

Noah H. Meyers
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Noah H. Meyers, 89, of Penn Hall Nursing Center, and formerly of Browns Mill Road, Greencastle, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at the nursing center.
Born March 28, 1910, in St. Thomas, Pa., he was the son of the late Lloyd and Rhoda Hollinger Meyers.
He was an implement dealer in the Greencastle area, retiring in 1971.
He was a member of King Street United Brethren Church of Chambersburg, served on the church board and was a member of Burtons Men's Bible Class.
He was a former member of Kauffman Ruritan Club and Greencastle Rotary Club. He was on the board of directors of First National Bank of Greencastle; and was an associate director of F & M Trust Bank of Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Phyllis P. Chamberlin Meyers; five daughters, Nancy M. Pensinger, Mary Lou Goetz and Lois M. Pittman, all of Greencastle, Carol A. Hoffman of Finksburg, Md., and Brenda S. Denisar of Chambersburg; a brother, Nathan L. Meyers of Greencastle; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St. in Greencastle. Chaplain Robert Keener will officiate. Burial will be in Browns Mill Cemetery in Kauffman, Pa.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
