He was 90 years old. Raymond was born October 6, 1911 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Christian Eckert and the late Anna Eckert (nee - Heusser).
He is the beloved husband of Ruth E. Eckert (Baringer) and the late Mabel Eckert; Father of Robert C. Eckert and his wife Gretchen and the late Raymond C. Eckert, Jr. and his wife Gail; Grandfather of Robert C. Eckert, Jr., Karen LaRose and Lynn Daly. He is also survived by his five great grandchildren.
Raymond was born and raised in Philadelphia. He was the owner and operator of the "I" and Tioga Streets Esso (then Exxon) service station in Philadelphia from the 1930's until his retirement in 1976. During World War II he also worked in the defense industry for the Budd Company. Mr. Eckert was a resident of Gloria Dei Farm and was formerly of Frontenac Street in Philadelphia.
Relatives and friends were invited to call Saturday, November 10, 2001, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Grace Presbyterian Church, Old York and Vista Roads, Jenkintown. Relatives and friends were invited to his Funeral Service Saturday, November 10, 2001, at 10:00 A.M. at Grace Presbyterian Church. Interment at Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn followed the Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Sisters of the Holy Redeemer, 1602 Huntingdon Pike, Meadowbrook, Pa. 19046.
Joseph Stelmach
March 16, 1918 - November 7, 2004

He was 86 years old. Joseph was born March 16, 1918 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late John Stelmach and the late Anna M. Stelmach (nee - Matuszak).
He is the beloved brother of Jean Griffith, Stanley Stelmach, Anna Stelmach, the late Mary Stelmach, the late John Stelmach and the late Helena Stelmach. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and their families.
Joseph was born and raised in Philadelphia. He worked for the Civil Conservation Corps and then served in the United States Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater.
Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing Saturday, November 13, 2004, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. and to his funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 North Easton Road, Willow Grove. Interment at Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine Cemetery, 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown followed the funeral service.

He is the dear brother of Janice, Mary and James Pearson, Patricia Moran and Dorothy Montgomery; loving uncle of Paul Montgomery, Lauren Moran, James Pearson II, Erin Moran, Trevor Pearson and Brandon Pearson.
Robert was born and raised in Elkins Park and was a student at Cheltenham High School. He operated his own business in tire sales during his working career.
Relatives and friends were invited to his viewings Thursday, November 11, 2004, from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. and Friday, November 12, 2004, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. and to his funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 6902 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia. Interment at Hillside Cemetery, 2156 Susquehanna Road, Roslyn followed the funeral service.
Margaret Ellen Chubb

She was 84 years old. Margaret was born July 23, 1917 in Coshocton, Ohio, daughter of the late William Henry Sorn and the late Bessie Leone Sorn (nee - Wheeler).
She is the beloved wife of the late Herbert H. Chubb; Mother of Donna J. Estler of Wheaton, IL and Elizabeth Ellen Harms on Aloha, OR; Grandmother of Stephen and Angela Harms and David H. and Holly Lyn Estler and the Great Grandmother of Matthew Harms. She is also survived by her brother William Wheeler Sorn of Fayettville, NY.
Mrs. Chubb was a recipient of the 1997 Penn Jersey Distinguished Blood Services Award and the 1998 Clara Barton Award for the Southeast PA Chapter. She was formerly of Oreland. Mrs. Chubb was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority, she was a graduate of Ohio State University in 1939. She was a 33 year volunteer with the American Red Cross.

Interment at Forest Hills Cemetery in Lower Moreland followed the Funeral Service.

Iva R. She worked as a receptionist for the Pennwalt Company on Tabor Road in Philadelphia during her working career, retiring in June of 1973. Eva was formerly of Tabor Avenue in Philadelphia and was a member of Presentation B.V.M. Roman Catholic Church.
