McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Glenn Eugene Barnett, 71, of Lincoln Way East, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, Jan. 7, 2000, at his home.
Born June 16, 1928, in Waterfall, Pa., he was the son of Iva Strait Barnett of Hustontown, Pa., and the late Clarence Barnett.
He was retired from Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, Pa.
He was a Protestant.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Taylor Barnett, whom he married
Oct. 26, 1949; five daughters, Linda McLaughlin of Chambersburg, Diane Stine, Dolores Kelly, and Glenda Swartz, all of McConnellsburg, and Teresa Lake of Needmore, Pa.; two sons, Glenn Barnett Jr. of Chambersburg and Roger Barnett of McConnellsburg; three sisters, Madeline Ulsh of Hustontown, Gayle Harris of McConnellsburg and Genevieve Cutchall of Danville, Pa.; six brothers, Gerald Barnett of Columbia, Pa., Harty Barnett of Harrisonville, Pa., Clarence Barnett Jr. and Karl Barnett, both of Hustontown, Gary Barnett of Danville and Clair Barnett of Dudley, Pa.; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Mellott.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at M.R. Brown Funeral Home, Hustontown. The Revs. Belvy C. White and Paul Nolan will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery, Harrisonville.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 9 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Tuesday.
H. Josephine Wenger
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - H. Josephine Wenger, 72, a resident of ManorCare, and formerly of 3471 Wayne Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, at ManorCare Health Services.
Born Sept. 21, 1927, in New Franklin, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Emma Walburn Coover.
She was a 1945 graduate of Chambersburg High School.
She was retired from the former Stanley Co., Chambersburg, after more than 30 years.
She was a member of Open Door Church, Chambersburg, where she and her husband had taught Sunday School for a number of years.
She was a member of Martha Custis Chapter 342 Order of Eastern Star and Falling Spring Court 139 Order of Amaranth, both of Chambersburg.
She is survived by her husband, Richard J. Wenger; a sister, Jeannette Crider of Chambersburg; a granddaughter, Melody Stull of Wisconsin; a grandson, William Stull of Chambersburg; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Wenger Stull, on Jan. 28, 1997.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Open Door Church, Chambersburg. The Rev. Keith Skelton will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.

Dorothy L. Peters
MARION, Pa. - Dorothy L. Peters, 75, of 247 Colorado St., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, Jan. 7, 2000, at Union Memorial Hospital, Baltimore.
Born April 23, 1924, in Chambersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Leo F. and Mary C. Moore Peters.
She was a graduate of Chambersburg High School and a 1945 graduate of nursing school from Mercy Hospital in Baltimore.
She was a registered nurse and had worked for Chambersburg Hospital before working as head nurse for Wilson College. She retired in 1985.
She attended Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Chambersburg.
She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Chambersburg VFW Post 1599; AARP; and Franklin County Area Agency Senior Citizens Center, Greencastle.
She is survived by a son, Douglas E. Peters Sr. of Marion; a brother, Robert Peters of Elizabethtown, Pa.; a granddaughter, Toshia L. Peters of Pasadena, Calif.; and a grandson, Douglas E. Peters Jr. of Chambersburg.
She was preceded in death by two infant brothers.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Chambersburg. The Rev. Luis Rodriquez will officiate. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Ave., Chambersburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 225 E. King St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
C. Edgar Fisler

Born July 17, 1917, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Elsie Schellhase Fisler.
He worked at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, retiring in 1974.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Chambersburg.
He was a member of Detrich-Brechbill Post 612 American Legion in St. Thomas, Pa., BPOE 600 in Chambersburg, Mercersburg Sportsman Association in Mercersburg, Pa., AARP Chapter 2287, and National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Catharine Clark Fisler; two brothers, A. Eugene Fisler Sr. of Greencastle, Pa., and James R. Fisler of Chambersburg; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1811 Lincoln Way East in Chambersburg. The Rev. Stephen W. Hoffman and the Rev. Herman Fisler will officiate. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery near Chambersburg.
Visitation will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ, 1811 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
Arrangements are by Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home in Chambersburg.
Zella M. Carbaugh
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Zella M. Carbaugh, 95, a resident of Hearthstone Retirement Home, and formerly of South Mountain, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at Waynesboro Hospital.
Born Sept. 7, 1904, in South Mountain, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Levi and Katie Wagaman Carbaugh.
She attended South Mountain School.
She was employed by Samuel Dixon State Hospital, now known as South Mountain Restoration Center, in the housekeeping department for 42 years. She retired in 1969.
She was a member of South Mountain Bible Church.
She is the last of her immediate family and is survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Alverna M. Verider; and two brothers, Lawrence Carbaugh and Glenn Carbaugh.
Services will be held Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Mervil R. Stambaugh will officiate. Burial will be in Strang's Cemetery in South Mountain.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
