SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Eleanor E. "Ella" Hoch, 95, of 222 E. Garfield St., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at her home.
Born July 22, 1904, in Newburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Mina Miller Bricker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Hoch, in 1965.
She was a member of Shippensburg First Church of God, Loyalty Sunday School Class and Women's Ministries.
She is survived by three daughters, Wanda E. Sommerville, A. Louise Lytle and Dona H. Helm, all of Shippensburg; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home in Shippensburg. The Revs. Paul L. Tatum and Patrick E. Kelly will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Southampton Township.
Visitation will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Raymond E. Crawford
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Raymond Ellis Crawford, 81, of Alterra Clare Bridge Cottage, and formerly of Barton, Md., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at Alterra Clare Bridge Cottage.
Born Aug. 14, 1918, in Barton, he was the son of the late James Christopher and Mary Rosanna Green Crawford.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beula Adene Beeman Crawford.
He worked as a coal miner. He also worked for the Allegany County Board of Education, retiring in 1983.
He attended Bible Baptist Church in Barton.
He is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Ferry of Spring Run, Pa., Helen Sniecienski of Barton and Linda Ruppenthal of Hancock; two sisters, Myrtle Fagner of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Della Bardo of Orlando, Fla.; four brothers, Roy Crawford of Williamsport, the Rev. Christopher Crawford of Midland, Md., Lester Crawford of Frostburg, Md., and Paul David Crawford of Cumberland, Md.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson and a great-grandson.
Services will be Friday at 12:30 p.m. at Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home in Lonaconing, Md. The Rev. Ted Hale of Lower Path Valley Presbyterian Church in Fannettsburg, Pa., and Pastor Dallas Bunch of Bible Baptist Church in Barton will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Moscow Mills, Md.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

She retired from Stanley Co. in Chambersburg, Pa., in 1978; and previously was employed by Sagner Inc. of McConnellsburg.
She was a member of Sideling Hill Christian Church in Needmore, Pa.
She is survived by nine sisters, Irene Feight, Goldie Kerlin, Betty Mellott, Florence Fix and Fay Koontz, all of McConnellsburg, Opel Raker and Helen Keefer, both of Mercersburg, Pa., Alice Mellott of Needmore, and Sue Yeager of Hustontown, Pa.; one brother, David H. Welsh of McConnellsburg; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Welsh; and a brother, James A. Welsh.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Sideling Hill Christian Church, Needmore. Pastors William Swope and Christian Elliott will officiate. Burial will be in Sideling Hill Christian Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church.

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - T. He was a member of F&AM Lodge 524 in Everett; and Pioneer Club for retired phone company employees.
He is survived by his second wife, Arlene Clingerman Border Brantner; one daughter, Joyce Clark of Camp Hill, Pa.; one son, Daniel W. Brantner of Phoenix; three stepsons, Michael W. Border of Hagerstown, Martin E. Border of Greencastle and Matthew D. Border of Jacksonville, Fla.; four grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Vera Garlick, Nancy Hoover and Mabel Deremer; and a brother, Bernard Brantner.
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Main Street, Everett. The Rev. Tim Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Everett Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Everett Masonic Lodge will conduct services Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Kelsey R. Shauf, one-month-old infant, of 691 Broad St., Apt. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Kyra Nichole Shauf, at home, and Shanequa Marie Woodley of Chambersburg; a brother, Jason C. Shauf Jr., at home; maternal grandparents, Richard and Rosetta Starliper White of Chambersburg; paternal grandparents, Glen Shauf of Greencastle, Pa., and Sandra Nye of Ohio; maternal great-grandparents, Norman and Carol Starliper of Orrstown, Pa., and William and Betty Lanly of Fort Loudon, Pa.; and paternal great-grandfather, Paul Shover of St. Thomas, Pa.
Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
Viewing will be at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to the service.
William F. Bennett
WARFORDSBURG, Pa. - William Felton Bennett, 86, of Fairview Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.
Born July 8, 1913, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Edward James and Amy Rohm Hixon Bennett.
He attended Fairview School in Amaranth.
He ran a grocery store and garage. He retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in Hartford, Conn., after 20 years of service.
He was in the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1935 and 1936.
He was a member of Amaranth Church of the Brethren.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Leone Householder Bennett, whom he married
Dec. 24, 1936; two sons, James Daniel Bennett of Milford, Del., and William F. Bennett Jr. of Mount Union, Pa.; a daughter, A. Jeanne Lovenguth of Milton; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Paul Bennett, and a sister, Julia Traux.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Amaranth Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Frank Teeter will officiate. Burial will be in Union Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the services at the church.
Arrangements are by Dalla Valle Funeral Services, Everett, Pa.
