WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Pauline V. Burkholder Helfrick, 74, of 20 N. Born May 22, 1925, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Ida Niswander Burkholder.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Melvin Helfrick, in 1966. They were married
June 12, 1943.
She attended Brown's Mill School in Kauffman Station.
She was a waitress at Newberry's in Waynesboro; Waynesboro County Club; and Best Western of Waynesboro, where she retired in the mid-1980s.
She was a member of William Max McLaughlin VFW Post 695 Ladies Auxiliary of Waynesboro; and National AARP.
She is survived by two daughters, Doris M. Rogers and Rosalie A. Price, both of Waynesboro; two sons, Harold E. Helfrick and Kenneth L. Helfrick, both of Waynesboro; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro. Pastor Michael V. Newman will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Nancy J. Ray
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Nancy J. Ray, 58, of 1024 Warm Spring Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999, at Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, Pa.
Born July 31, 1941, in Fort Loudon, Pa., she was the daughter of the late James Watson and Gladys Viola Hill Mellott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Congdon, in 1993.
She was a 1959 graduate of James Buchanan High School in Mercersburg, Pa.
She retired in 1994 from Corning Glass in Greencastle, Pa.
She was a member of Zion Reformed Church in Chambersburg.
She was a member of Wesley Yeager American Legion Post 606 Auxiliary of Fort Loudon; and BPO Elks 600 Auxiliary of Chambersburg.
She is survived by three sons, C. Gregory Ray of Fort Loudon, Steven K. Ray of Hardin, Ky., and Randall E. Ray of Chambersburg; seven sisters, Louise Nelling, Shirley Mellott and Monica Dysinger, all of Fort Loudon, Ruth Johns, Joan Coldsmith and June Gearhart, all of Chambersburg and Rose Wilson of St. Thomas, Pa.; a brother, Jack Mellott of Fort Loudon; and a grandson, Stewart K. Ray, who lived with her.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Ray Witmer; and two brothers, Charles Mellott and James Mellott.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road in Chambersburg. The Rev. Robert Dean Morrison will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
Visitation will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mary Jane F. Timmons

Born Nov. 29, 1921, in Mercersburg, she was the daughter of the late Samuel W. and Sarah Catherine Hawbaker Hawbaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent H. Timmons, in 1987.
She was a former employee of Maryland Ribbon Co.; and Fairchild Industries, both of Hagerstown. She also had worked at Corning Glass Works of Greencastle, Pa. She was last employed by Clarence Armstrong VFW Post 6241 of Mercersburg.
She was a member of Locust Level Full Gospel Church of Greencastle.
She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 6241.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary E. Keefer of Fayetteville, Pa., Cathy J. Landis and June E. Reed, both of Mercersburg; five sons, Dean E. Walker, Darrell L. Walker, Vaughn R. Timmons and David N. Timmons, all of Mercersburg and Douglas G. Timmons of Hagerstown; a sister, Ruth Roher of Wells Tannery, Pa.; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister; and four brothers.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Welsh Run Church of Brethren in Welsh Run, Pa. The Rev. Johnathan Laye will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, 47 N. Park Ave. in Mercersburg; and Monday at 1 p.m. at the church.

Cleda J. Kinsey

Born Nov. 29, 1915, in Franklin County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late David and Mary F. Hoke Kinsey.
She was a 1934 graduate of Greencastle High School.
She worked at Scotland (Pa.) School for Veterans' Children, was a telephone switchboard operator and worked at Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown. She retired from Potomac Edison Co.
She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ of Greencastle and was on the flower committee.
She volunteered with Meal on Wheels in the Greencastle area.
She is survived by cousins.
Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 29, at 10:30 a.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle. The Rev. Mary C. Wehr will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Mercersburg, Pa.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Dec. 28, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

William T. Flagle Sr.

Born Jan. 14, 1919, in Fort Loudon, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph and Susan E. Fisher Flagle.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen I. Daley Flagle, in 1996. They were married
Jan. 15, 1937.
He was employed as an inspector by Landis Tool Co. in Waynesboro, retiring in 1980.
He served in the U.S. Navy in the North Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea during World War II.
He was a Protestant.
He is survived by four sons, Ralph E. Flagle and Darrell L. Flagle, both of Fayetteville, Pa., Donald L. Flagle of Waynesboro and William T. Flagle Jr. of Greencastle, Pa.; a sister, Ethel M. Mayhugh of Fort Myers, Fla.; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deloris Vaughn; a sister; and five brothers.
Services will be today at 8 p.m. at Miller-Grove Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St. in Greencastle. Pastor Wilber L. Sites Jr. will officiate.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family requests the omission of flowers.
Audrey M. Zilling
WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Audrey M. "Dolly" Ridgely Zilling, 69, of West Chester, and formerly of Havertown, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1999, at Chester County Hospital in West Chester.
Born Oct. 13, 1930, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Herbert M. Ridgely and Audrey M. Mackenzie.
She worked as a real estate agent and for the state of Pennsylvania in social work.
She is survived by her husband, Richard G. Zilling; two daughters, Susan M. McKim of Phoenixville, Pa., and Kathryn E. Siedel of Ardmore, Pa.; a son, James R. Zilling of Denver, Pa.; a brother, Herbert M. Ridgely Jr. of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
Services and burial will be private. A memorial service will be held later.
There will be no visitation.
