WEST SPRING RUN, Pa. - Daisy L. Born Jan. 26, 1933, in Poe, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Roy and Rebecca E. Meck McKinley.
She had been employed as a seamstress at her home.
She was a member of Spring Run Bible Church; and had worked with Child Evangelism in Waynesboro, Pa.
She is survived by her husband, Harry D. Evitts, whom she married
July 8, 1950; three daughters, Betty Jane Irvin and Brenda E. Miller, both of Shippensburg, Pa., and Barbara J. Buterbaugh of McConnellsburg, Pa.; a son, Barry E. Evitts of Great Mills, Md.; three sisters, Omena J. Sheeder, Fay Peterson and Lula C. Parsons, all of Spring Run; two brothers, Harry C. O'Donnell of Burnt Cabins, Pa., and Richard R. O'Donnell of Spring Run; 14 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Spring Run Bible Church. The Rev. John E. Semple will officiate. Burial will be in Upper Path Valley Cemetery, Fannett Township, Pa.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at John L. Agett Funeral Home, Dry Run.

Thelma H. Knepper
THREE SPRINGS, Pa. - Thelma H. Born Jan. 23, 1918, in Sipes Mill, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Jacob A. and Dovie Mellott Hann.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. Knepper, in 1990.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Knobsville (Pa.) Church of the Brethren, and was a deaconess.
She is survived by two daughters, Harriet Peak of Carlisle, Pa., and Judy Appleby of Waterfall, Pa.; a son, R. Lynn Knepper of Three Springs; two brothers, Russell Hann and Cletus Hann, both of Sipes Mill; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Hann.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Knobsville Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Christian Elliott will officiate. Burial will be in Center United Methodist Cemetery, Doran Road, Three Springs.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sipes Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Pa., with visitation from 2 p.m.; and Wednesday one hour prior to the service.

James L. Middleton

Born Jan. 4, 1919, in Strasburg, Va., he was the son of the late Harry Lee and Anna Irene Marshall Middleton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille I. Middleton.
He had been employed by USAir as an aircraft mechanic.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ann Harmison of Cranberry Township; three sons, H. Wayne Middleton of Martinsburg, W.Va., Kenneth Lee Middleton of Leechburg, Pa., and Craig A. Middleton of Harmony, Pa.; a sister, Naomi V. Reed of Shenandoah Junction, W.Va.; and a grandchild.
He was preceded in death by six half sisters, Phyllis Riggs, Imogene Johnson, Mable Barrett, Evelyn Grove, Lena Riggs and Reva Hess; a half brother, Raymond Butts; and a grandson.
Services will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. The Rev. James D. Riley Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Oscar J. Cramer Jr.
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Oscar J. "Whitey" Cramer Jr., 76, of ManorCare Nursing Home, 1070 Stouffer Ave., and formerly of 391 Wayne Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at ManorCare.
Born Dec. 23, 1922, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of the late Oscar J. Cramer Sr. and Minnie J. Gipe Cramer.
He attended Chambersburg schools.
He worked for Crunkleton Electric, Waynesboro; and at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, in the Post Engineers Department as an electrician from 1952 until his retirement in 1980.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the European Theater during World War II.
A member of Solomons Lutheran Church, Chambersburg, he was on the Church Council and served as Sunday School superintendent.
He was a member of Charles M. Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599, Chambersburg; and National AARP.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Florence L. Kayhoe Cramer; a daughter, Patti Jo Goulet of Waynesboro; a son, Barry E. Cramer of St. Thomas, Pa.; a sister, Helen E. Heckman of Fayetteville, Pa.; two brothers, Richard E. Cramer of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Robert F. Cramer of Chambersburg; four grandchildren; a stepgrandson; two great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer J. Cramer.
A graveside memorial service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. at Grindstone Hill Cemetery, Guilford Township, Franklin County. The Rev. Michael E. Allwein will officiate.
There will be no viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Solomons Lutheran Church Building Fund, 486 Wayne Road, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
Arrangements are by Cumberland Valley Crematory, Waynesboro.
Daniel Grabill

Born Dec. 25, 1904, in Peters Township, Franklin County, he was the son of the late Daniel and Susanna Jacobs Grabill.
He was employed by the former H.J. Heinz Company, as a mechanic for over 40 years, retiring in 1969.
He was a member of 4th Street Church of the Brethren.
He is survived by seven nieces, Rhoda Gayman of Penn Hall, Pa., Ruth Haldeman and Dorcas Sharar, both of Greencastle, Pa., Bertha Kenepp of Marion, Pa., Naomi Hunsberger of St. Thomas, Pa., June Marie Ness of Dover, Pa., and Ruth Rebenolt of Milton, Pa. and five nephews, Chalmers Young, Jr., and Harold Young, both of Greencastle, David G. Negley of Mt. Aetna, Md., Clarence Negley, Jr., of Mercersburg, Pa. and Paul Negley of St. Thomas.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave. The Rev. Don Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
