Born Dec. 4, 1920, in Bedford, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Jenny Wertz Sleaster.

She retired in 1992 from Knouse Food Corp.
She was a member of Life Assembly of God Church, Chambersburg.
She is survived by three nieces and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ellen Price and Mary Brown and two brothers, Hiriam Sleaster and Russell Sleaster.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Inc., 6492 Lincoln Way West, St. Thomas, Pa. The Rev. Leroy Wiley will officiate. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to the services.
Rose M. Kuykendall
GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Rose Marie "Rosie" Potter Kuykendall, 66, of 59 S. Carl Ave., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pa., following an illness of four months.
Born July 3, 1933, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles S. and Martha Rae Bitner Potter.

She was a 1951 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School.
She was employed at the former Potter's Restaurant, Greencastle until 1978 and then worked at Grove Worldwide, Shady Grove, as a food server and then as a cook at Frank L. Carbaugh American of Greencastle and then at Hillcrest Drive in Greencastle. She was also a former Avon representative.
She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ of Greencastle.
She is survived by four daughters, Carla Wright, Vicky Frazier, Kathy Lundquist and Martha Hornbaker, all of Greencastle; one son, Curtis Kuykendall of Greencastle; one sister, Joanne Walck of Greencastle; one brother, Thomas A. Potter of Greencastle; her cousin and companion, Delores Cook of Mont Alto, Pa.; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Evelyn Potter.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle. The Rev. Mary C. Wehr will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Grace United Church of Christ, 128 E. Baltimore St., P.O. Box 448, Greencastle, PA 17225.
Lois E. Humbert
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Lois E. She is survived by one daughter, Jane Wright of Fayetteville, Pa.; one son, Fred Humbert Jr., of Big Cove Tannery; two grandsons; two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Bertha Mellott and one brother, Charles Swisher.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Inc., 322 N. Second St., McConnellsburg, Pa. Chaplain Ray Geigley and Chaplain Bob Keener will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday one hour prior to the funeral.

She attended St. Paul United Methodist Church, Chambersburg and she was a member of Mizbah Bible Class.
She was a member of St. Thomas Sportsmans Club, St. Thomas, Pa.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn H. Burkholder of Harrisburg, Pa., and Christine E. Hartman of Congers, N.Y.; one son, John W. L. Hartman of Indiana, Pa.; two sisters, Lillian Ridenour of Hagerstown and Millie Morrill of Hyattsville, Md.; one brother, Theodore F. Landis of Adelphi, Md.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one half brother, James Landis and one half sister, Rachael Evans.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home Inc., 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. A. Robert Cook will officiate. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Thelma M. Murphy

She was last employed at Nassau County General Hospital, Long Island, N.Y., in the dietary department.
She is survived by two sons, the Rev. Edward Murphy of Pittsburgh and the Rev. Rich Murphy of San Jose, Calif.; one sister, Christine Houston of Chambersburg; one brother, Dwight S. Spencer Jr. of College Park, Md.; two granddaughters and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 2695 Luther Drive, Chambersburg. The Rev. Rich Murphy and the Rev. Edward Murphy will officiate. Burial will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Md.
There will be no viewing.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg. The Rev. Arthur Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.
