GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Donald L. "Donnie" Wingert, 48, of 35 Orchard Circle, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999, at the scene of an automobile accident south of Chambersburg, Pa., on Route 11 near Loop Road.
Born June 6, 1951, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of Helen Keller Wingert of Greencastle and the late George S. Wingert Jr.
He was a 1969 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School.
He was currently an insurance agent with Dillow Insurance Agency in Kearneysville, W.Va., and formerly worked at Grove Worldwide in Shady Grove, Pa.
He had attended First Assembly of God Church of Greencastle. He was currently attending Antrim Brethren in Christ Church near Chambersburg.
He was a coach for Greencastle Little League, coached basketball at Greencastle-Antrim Middle School, and coached in the Y.B.A. League.
He managed and played on the former Geor-Don's Softball team.
He was a member of Greencastle Sportsman Association.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 29 years, Glenda "Punch" Wingert; two daughters, Tammy R. Brown of Greencastle and Kayla L. Wingert at home; a son, Brian L. Wingert of Greencastle; two sisters, Diane M. Wesley of Greencastle and Linda J. Seville of Mercersburg, Pa.; a brother, Larry D. Wingert of Greencastle; a paternal grandmother, Estella Wingert of Greencastle; and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Ernest and Martha Keller; and paternal grandfather, George Wingert Sr.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Antrim Brethren in Christ Church, 24 E. Kauffman Road, in Chambersburg. Pastor Ky Searcy and Pastor Walter Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Greencastle.
The family will receive friends Monday at noon at the church.

Glenn F. Metz
GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Glenn F. Metz, 83, of 200 Orchard Circle, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at his home.
Born Aug. 29, 1916, in Guilford Township, Pa., he was the son of the late Jacob Milton and Mary Dunlap Metz.
He graduated from technical school.
He was employed at the former Fairchild Aircraft of Hagerstown, from 1938 to 1980 when he retired.
He was a member of Greencastle Presbyterian Church, where he served as an usher.
He was a member of Chambersburg Rod and Gun Club and William Penn Pistol League.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda Gift Metz, whom he married
Feb. 20, 1943; a son, Mark L. Metz of Woodbridge, Va.; and a grandson, Eric G. Metz of Woodbridge.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Walter, and a brother, Jay Metz.
Services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St. in Greencastle. The Rev. Rawley Boone will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery in Chambersburg, Pa.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Grace M. Pfoutz
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Grace Mae Spangler Pfoutz, 83, a resident of Falling Springs Nursing Home and formerly of 313 Commerce St. in Waynesboro, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999, at the nursing home.
Born April 2, 1916, in Zullinger, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Roy Howard and Emma Viola Price Spangler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Enniss Samuel Pfoutz, in 1969. They were married
Jan. 6, 1940.
She was a 1934 graduate of Waynesboro High School. She attended Harrisburg School of Beauty Culture.
Earlier, she worked at Wayne's Beauty Shop in Waynesboro. Later, she worked as a machine operator at Stanley Co. in Chambersburg. She retired in June 1978.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Waynesboro, where she was a member of Rose Circle Sunday School class. She also was a member of United Methodist Women of the church.
She was a member of Waynesboro South Chapter 2977 AARP and national AARP.
She was the recipient of the School Award of the Joe Stickell American Legion Post 15 Ladies Auxiliary of Waynesboro.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Louise Deibler of York Springs, Pa.; two sons, Robert S. Pfoutz of Herndon, Va., and William H. Pfoutz of Waynesboro; two sisters, Mary Kichman of Harrisburg, Pa., and Viola Rebok of Waynesboro; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro. The Rev. Lynn D. Trutt will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro.
It was her request to have no public viewing; however, the family will receive friends Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Endowment Fund of Faith United Methodist Church, 104 N. Potomac St., Waynesboro, PA 17268.
Daniel Ramsey
HUSTONTOWN, Pa. - Daniel Ramsey, 91, of North Clear Ridge Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999, at his home.
Born Jan. 24, 1908, in Springfield Township, Pa., he was the son of the late Robert and Sarah Jane Lane Ramsey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Zelda Pearl Wible Ramsey, in 1998. They were married
March 23, 1929.
He retired from Harbison-Walker Refractories in Mount Union, Pa. He was a farmer.
He was a member of Hustontown Church of God, was church clerk, treasurer and a Sunday school teacher.
He is survived by six daughters, Betty R. Amsley of Mercersburg, Pa., Stella McCleary of Chambersburg, Pa., Margaret J. Reeder of McConnellsburg, Pa., Thelma Mellott of Needmore, Pa., Darlene Ramsey of Breezewood, Pa., and Judy Kagarise of Loysburg, Pa.; two sons, Reuben Ramsey and Melvin Ramsey, both of Hustontown; 21 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Miriam Kelly; a son, Donald Ramsey; four sisters, Mabel Shields, Omeda Utley, Mary Ellen Ramsey and Ruth Runk; four brothers, Elwood Ramsey, Dice Ramsey, Stewart Ramsey and Robert Ramsey; and five grandchildren.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hustontown Church of God. The Rev. John Warner will officiate. Burial will be in Hustontown Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. at M. R. Brown Funeral Home in Hustontown; and Sunday at 1 p.m. at the church. The funeral home will be open Saturday from 4 p.m.

ST. She attended Franklin Learning Center in Chambersburg.
She was a member of Horsemanship for the Handicapped of Chambersburg.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Elissa Michelle Holtry at home; paternal grandmother, Pauline Sheaffer Holtry of Shippensburg, Pa.; maternal grandmother, Gloria M. Jackson of Holly Hills, Fla.; and maternal grandfather, Milton Robertson of New York City.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road in Chambersburg. The Rev. James W. Herman will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
