Born June 26, 1948, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Paul J. and Harriet E. Tosten Baer.
She was a 1966 graduate of Harrisburg Senior High School in Harrisburg, Pa.
She was a sales person for Sellers Television and Appliance Sales in Chambersburg.
She was a member of Chambersburg Brethren in Christ Church.
She is survived by four brothers, Floyd E. Baer, Donald L. Baer, Glen P. Baer and Ronald R. Baer, all of Chambersburg.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Caroline Baer and Betty Jane Stevens.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road in Chambersburg. The Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Upper Strasburg Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association Franklin/Fulton Division, 225 E. King St., Chambersburg, PA 17201; or American Diabetes Association Franklin County Chapter, c/o Mrs. Doris J. Goetz, 219 W. Second St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.

Born Sept. 2, 1909, in Chambersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Ralph H. Sr. and Violet H. Harsh Patterson.
Her husband, Joseph A. Etter, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died May 31, 1973.
She was a 1927 graduate of Waynesboro High School in Waynesboro, Pa., and attended Penn State University in State College, Pa.
She worked in the office with her husband who was manager for Frick Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was a member of Westwood Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati.
She is survived by two nephews, Michael Patterson of Pickerington, Ohio, and Joseph McGranaghan of Selinsgrove, Pa.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Agnes McGranaghan and Esther Patterson; and one brother, Ralph H. Patterson Jr.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Burns Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro. The Rev. Richard A. Seaks will officiate.
There will be no public viewing.
Arrangements are by Grove Funeral Home in Waynesboro.
Alberta M. Hallquist
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Alberta M. Hallquist, 94, a resident of Caledonia Manor Nursing Home for the past four years and formerly of 418 W. Born Feb. 28, 1905, in Wichita, Kan., she was the daughter of the late Lucius Green and Etta Maria Hartzell McPherson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Byron Ganson, in 1932; and her second husband, Edward A. Hallquist, in 1958.
She was a beautician, owning her own shop in Kansas.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She was a member of Falling Spring Court 139 Order of Amaranth Eastern Star Chapter of Kansas City, Mo.
She is survived by a son, Delbert Garth Ganson; her friend and caretaker, Luella E. Smith of Scotland, Pa.; and a grandson, Garth B. Ganson.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Leo McPherson.
Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home in Chambersburg.
Cecil M. Oberholzer
GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Cecil M. Oberholzer, 75, of 11532 Worleytown Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999, at Waynesboro Hospital.
Born March 4, 1924, in Washington Township, near Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of the late Preston W. Sr. and Esther A. Hoover Oberholzer.
He was preceded in death by his first wife whom he married
in 1942, Betty J. Shimer Oberholzer, in 1975.
He attended the Hollowell School in Greencastle School District.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a corporal in the 5th Ranger Battalion serving in the European Theater.
Following the military he worked construction on his own for a number of years and then worked for Lanehart Construction Co., Greencastle. He then worked at Frick Co., Waynesboro, for 10 years and then returned to construction work.
He is survived by his second wife, whom he married
in 1983, Joan V. Mowen Oberholzer; two daughters, Gloria J. Wachter of Zullinger, Pa., and Pamela L. Beaver of Greencastle; four sons, John M. Oberholzer, Michael D. Oberholzer and Gregory Z. Oberholzer, all of Greencastle and Brian K. Oberholzer of Chambersburg; four stepdaughters, Beverly S. Brindle of Greencastle, Lori A. Gibson of Sanford, N.C., Susan M. Woodal of McConnellsburg, Pa., and Kimberly S. Smith of Seven Springs, N.C.; three stepsons, Walter E. Morrison of Chambersburg, Gregory L. Smith of Fort Loudon, Pa., and Michael T. Smith of Hanover, Pa.; two sisters, Velma V. Gossert of Quincy, Pa., and Gloria G. Martz of Waynesboro; two brothers, Preston W. Oberholzer Jr. of Greencastle and Ronald E. Oberholzer of Waynesboro; 10 grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Timothy W. Oberholzer; two sisters, Janet Vanderau and Emma Oberholzer; five brothers, Reginald H. Oberholzer, Samuel O. Oberholzer, Maurice J. Oberholzer, R. Dean Oberholzer and Lloyd Oberholzer.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Miller-Grove Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St., Greencastle. The Rev. Victor E. Miller will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Kathleen S. Thomas

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Thomas, in 1987.
She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and Legion of Mary.
She is survived by one son, Tom R. Thomas of Chambersburg; one brother, Peter Schaffnit of Hagerstown; one sister, Susie Rowles of Pleasant Hall, Pa., and three granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church. The Msgr. Thomas R. Brenner will be celebrant. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Arrangements are by Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
