MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Ruth V. Harmon, 91, of 13979 Buchanan Trail West, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at her home.
Born Oct. 9, 1908, near Mercersburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ida Trogler Brindle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Harmon, in 1975.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ of Lemasters, Pa.; and a former member of the Women's Guild.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Patti V. Piper and Dixie L. Gordon, both of Mercersburg; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Piper; a sister; and seven brothers.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's UCC of Lemasters. The Rev. Douglas N. Hodges will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery in Lemasters.
Visitation will be Saturday at noon at the church.
Arrangements are by Lininger-Fries Funeral Home in Mercersburg.
Spencer C. McCullough
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Spencer Curtis McCullough was stillborn Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Chambersburg Hospital.
He is survived by his parents, Rebecca R. Mason and Richard Curtis McCullough of Chambersburg; a brother, Shawn Richard McCullough, at home; maternal grandparents, David and Doris Mason of Mercersburg; paternal grandmother, Mary Spencer of Mercersburg; and paternal grandfather, Ralph Curtis Spencer of Cumberland, Md.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Pathway Full Gospel Church of Marion, Pa. The Rev. Christy R. Stouffer will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Mercersburg, Pa.
There will be no viewing.
Arrangements are by Lininger-Fries Funeral Home in Mercersburg.
Mabel C. Harrison
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Mabel C. Harrison, 97, formerly of 373 Lortz Ave., and of Menno Haven Nursing Home, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at Menno Haven.
Born Feb. 9, 1902, in Marion, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Samuel H. and Mary Jane Crider Garns.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Robert S. Harrison Sr., in 1991.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Heidelberg United Church of Christ in Marion, Pa.; a founding member of Heidelberg's Senior Citizens Group; and a former member of Ladies Bible Class.
She is survived by a son, Robert S. Harrison Jr. of Chambersburg; and two granddaughters, Emily Weir of Northampton, Mass., and Sue Michalski of Chambersburg.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Kuhn and Ethel Hartzok; and two brothers, Walter Garns and J. Irvin Garns.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Heidelberg United Church of Christ, 166 Colorado St., Marion, Pa. The Revs. John Toms and Donald Moul will officiate. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Ave., Chambersburg; and on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the church. The funeral home will be open Saturday from 2 p.m.
Thelma C. Needham
ZULLINGER, Pa. - Thelma C. Parks King Needham, 82, of 11868 Grace St., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, in the emergency room of Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.
Born Feb. 18, 1917, in Altoona, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Samuel Parks and Grace Lightner Parks Knepper.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Bush King, in 1943. They were married
in 1938.
She received her GED from Waynesboro Senior High School.
She was employed as a beautician in Waynesboro, Pa.; then as a secretary at Waynesboro High School.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Waynesboro, and played the organ.
She was a member of National AARP.
She is survived by her husband, Alton S. Needham, whom she married
Oct. 24, 1943; a daughter, Barbara Ann Montgomery of Greencastle, Pa.; two sons, Gary L. King and Dwight I. Needham, both of Waynesboro; a sister, Emma Hoffman of Zullinger, Pa.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Adda Parks Singer.
Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Revs. Lynn D. Trutt and John L. Rauch will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro.
There will be no public viewing. The family will receive friends Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Eugenia M. O'Brien
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Eugenia M. Rosinski O'Brien, 75, of United Towers Apartments, 200 N. Born Jan. 27, 1924, in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Reinhold and Eugenia Seifert Rosinski.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John O'Brien, in 1987. They were married
May 7, 1943.
She attended schools in Iselin, N.J., graduating from Woodbridge High School in 1942.
She was a homemaker; and worked as a night bookkeeper for a motel while living in Iselin. In Chambersburg, she worked at Wilson College with alumni fund raising.
She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg.
She is survived by a son, Michael R. O'Brien of South Brunswick, N.J.; a sister, Suzanne R. Vineyard of Bridgewater, N.J.; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Farber; and a brother, John Paul Rosinski.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 452 E. King St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
Arrangements are by Cumberland Valley Crematorium, Waynesboro.
Katherine Forsythe

in 1982; a daughter, Mitzi Hoffman of Phoenix; two stepdaughters, Trene Antone of Chestertown, Md. and Elsie Kinter of Spring Hill, Fla.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Nov. 18, at Menno Haven Chapel, 2075 Scotland Ave. in Chambersburg. Chaplains Sammuel J. Troyer and Vernon Isner will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by Cumberland Valley Crematorium in Waynesboro.
