McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Inez B. Crouse, 85, of 416 N. Born Jan. 30, 1914, in Clear Ridge, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Cinda Rella Chestnut Brown.

She was a school teacher in Fulton County Schools.
She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in McConnellsburg, the choir and was active in other activities.
She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star in McConnellsburg, McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, PSEA, and Fulton County Teachers Association.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Crouse of Dunbar, Pa., and Robert C. Crouse of Spring Grove, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Crouse; and two sisters, Hazel Decker and Blanche Deshong.
Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul United Church of Christ in McConnellsburg. The Revs. Barron Barley and E. Loy Garber will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in McConnellsburg.
The family will receive friends at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 322 N. Second St., McConnellsburg, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. For the convenience of friends, the funeral home will be open from 2 to 9 p.m. today.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ Memorial Fund, 203 E. Walnut St., McConnellsburg, PA 17233.
Ruth A. Clarke
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Ruth A. Clarke, 95, of 5368 Philadelphia Ave., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999, at her home.
Born Aug. 25, 1904, in Canada, she was the daughter of the late Wellington and Grace Johnson Rombaugh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Clarke, in 1998.
She had worked as a clerk at City Hall in Philadelphia.
She is survived by two sons, Harvey A. Clarke of Lexington Park, Md. and Robert E. Clarke of Chambersburg; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Ave. in Chambersburg. The Rev. Jerry Traister will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Holly Cemetery in Mount Holly, N.J.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
George H. Carbaugh
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - George H. Carbaugh, 67, of 198 Black Gap Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at his home.
Born March 9, 1932, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of the late James O. and Sylvesta Pearl Ruthrauff Carbaugh Sr.
He was employed by Frick Co. in Waynesboro, as a machinist, retiring in 1994.
He was a life member of South Mountain Fish and Game Association.
He is survived by a companion of 20 years; three daughters, Wanda M. Koons and Roxanne S. Patterson, both of Waynesboro, Pa., and Rebecca P. Butts of Fayetteville; two sons, George H. Carbaugh Jr. of Waynesboro and Jack U. Carbaugh of Fayetteville; three sisters, Almeda R. Wolford of Waynesboro, Mary Ball of Alaska and Betty J. Shaw of Fayetteville; a brother, James O. Carbaugh Jr. of Fayetteville; a half sister, Doris Carbaugh; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a half brother, Charles Anders.
Service will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro. The Rev. George S. Mouer Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Strang's Cemetery, South Mountain, Pa.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Katherine L. Young
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Katherine L. Born Dec. 19, 1913, in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Irene Barron Russell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey S. Young Sr., in 1976.
She was a member of Frederick Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by two children, Irene McCaffrey of Pittsburgh and Harvey Young Jr. of Thurmont, Md.; two sisters, Charlotte Willingham and Betty Lou Nicewarner; four brothers, Pittman Russell, Alan Russell, John Russell and Jim Russell; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Shirley Russell.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. The Rev. Lerry W. Fogle will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Born March 17, 1924, in Elkhorn City, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Albert Wilson and Essie Ratliff Bartley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter F. Klimaszewski, in 1996. They were married
May 26, 1944.
She received her GED from Waynesboro High School in Waynesboro, Pa.
She had been employed by Waynesboro Knitting Mill; Public Shirt Factory; and Carl's Market on Main Street, all of Waynesboro. She was a homemaker most of her life.
She was a member of Waynesboro Church of the Brethren and Fidelis Sunday School Class; she also served as a teller of the church.
She was a member of National AARP.
She is survived by six sisters, Fay Appleby of Sarasota, Fla., Glema Thomas of Hellier, Ky., Shoma Rowe of Margate, Fla., Dorothy Rowe of Columbus, Ohio, Evelyn Fowler of Oakland, Md., and Sue Freeman of Charlotte, N.C.; two brothers, Alex Bartley of Elkhorn City, Ky., and Roger Bartley of Columbus; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Barnett; a brother, Victor Bartley; and a half brother, Raymond Ratliff.
A memorial service will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Waynesboro Church of the Brethren, 117 S. Church St. in Waynesboro. Pastor Prudence Yelinek will officiate.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Waynesboro Church of the Brethren, 117 S. Church St., Waynesboro, PA 17268; or American Cancer Society, 452 E. King St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.

She was employed by the former Sylvania Shoe Co. of Greencastle for 11 years, and last worked at Greencastle-Antrim Elementary School cafeteria for 10 years.
She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of Greencastle.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Calvin H. Souders; four daughters, Lisa Bowers, Donna Monninger and Carol Talhelm, all of Greencastle, and Bobbie Strait of Chambersburg, Pa.; one son, Douglas Carr of Newville, Pa.; five sisters, Lorraine Shoemaker, Carolyn Kendle and Judy Myers, all of Greencastle, Lyndell Smith of Chambersburg and Kaye Emerick of Falling Waters, W.Va.; seven brothers, Merle Oberholzer, Donald Oberholzer, Richard Oberholzer, Vaughn Oberholzer, and Dwaine Oberholzer, all of Greencastle, Bernard Oberholzer of Williamson, Pa., and Daryl Oberholzer of Wakarusa, Ind.; 21 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Justina A. Smith, in 1986; a brother, Linford Oberholzer, in 1993; and one grandson.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Evangelical Lutheran Church, 130 N. Washington St., Greencastle. The Rev. Martin Horn and the Rev. Donald Bohn will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Greencastle.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, and Friday at the church one hour before services.
