She was born Oct. 11, 1999, in Harrisburg.

She is survived by her quadruplet sisters, Abrial Saige Hummer and Jalene Ivria Hummer, and a quadruplet brother, Rylan Tate Hummer, all at home; maternal grandparents, David and Denise Ross Cartwright of Due West, S.C.; paternal grandparents, Eugene L. and Delores Stinson Hummer of Chambersburg, Pa.; paternal great-grandparents Levi A. and Janet V. Brown Hummer of Chambersburg; and paternal step-great-grandfather and great-grandmother, Norman and Pauline Young Feldman of Chambersburg.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.

Arrangements by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home in Chambersburg are incomplete.

Alan L. Pile

MILL CREEK, Pa. - Alan L. Pile, 52, of Mill Creek, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon, Pa.

Born Oct. 2, 1947, in Somerset, Pa., he was the son of Cletus E. Pile of Greencastle, Pa., and the late Verna Zimmerman Pile.

He was a 1969 graduate of Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pa.

He was the owner and operator of Alan L. Pile Septic Tank Cleaning Co. from 1970 to 1996, when he retired for health reasons.

He was a member of State Line United Methodist Church in State Line, Pa., and attended Mill Creek United Methodist Church.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Jean A. Piper Pile, whom he married June 6, 1970; two sons, Ryan Pile and Shane Pile, both at home; one sister, Diane Pile of Gaithersburg, Md.; his mother-in-law; brothers- and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Burial services were private.

Memorial donations may be made to American Lung Association or to Mill Creek United Methodist Church Organ Fund.

John D. Timmons

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - John D. Timmons, 89, a resident of Shippensburg Health Center, and formerly of Roxbury, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, at the health care center.

Born Nov. 23, 1909, in Upper Strasburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph E. Sr. and Jessie Holtry Timmons.

He was a mechanic at the Letterkenny Army Depot roundhouse in Chambersburg, Pa., retiring in 1970.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by two sisters, Martha Hepfer and Gladys Bent, both of Chambersburg; one brother, Philip Paul Timmons of Chambersburg; one half-sister, Ruby Deitrich of Edenville, Pa.; two half-brothers, Marvin Timmons and Franklin Timmons, both of Chambersburg; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Lincoln Cemetery in Chambersburg. The Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate.

There will be no viewing.

Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home in Chambersburg.

Faye Faust

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - M. Faye Faust, 61, of 4562 Molly Pitcher Highway South, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, at her home.

Born June 21, 1938, in Huntingdon County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Earl G. and Mary I. Hershey Hamman

She was retired from Corning Glass Works in Greencastle, Pa., after 23 years of service.

She was a member of Independent Baptist Church in Saltillo, Pa., and attended Chambersburg Bible Church.

She was a member of Corning Glass Flint Union in Greencastle.

She is survived by her husband, Harvey D. Faust; three daughters, Stephony E. Cook of Fayetteville, Pa., Jackie M. Kirby and Mandy L. Olson, both of Chambersburg; four sisters, Cora Rogers of Pittsburgh, Calif., Winifred Peters, Ann Hackenburg and Clara Pisle, all of Chambersburg; nine brothers, Paul Hamman of Saxton, Pa., Gerald Hamman of Myrtle Creek, Ore., Emory Hamman of Shippensburg, Pa., Thurman Hamman of Fort Loudon, Pa., Howard Hamman and Bill Hamman, both of McVeytown, Pa., Cecil Hamman, Fred Hamman and Ronald Hamman, all of Three Springs, Pa.; four grandchildren; and one step-granddaugther.

She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

Services will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. John R. Springer will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.

Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201.

David R. Myers

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - David R. Myers, 81, of 6287 Findley Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Monday Oct. 25, 1999, at his home.

Born Dec. 10, 1917, in Lemasters, Pa., he was the son of the late C. Aden and Ida Meyers Myers.

He was a farmer.

He attended Old Order River Brethren.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie Mae Horst, five daughters, Evelyn White, Lana Stone, both of Greencastle, Pa., Myra Byers of Mercersburg, Rebecca Sollenberger of St. Thomas, Pa., and Lois Gayman of Chambersburg, Pa.; three sons, Laban Myers of Chambersburg, Paul Myers and Benjamin Myers, both of Mercersburg; one sister, Rhoda Benedict of Fayetteville, Pa.; 31 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Myers and Clement Myers.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Upton Church of the Brethren. The Bishop J. Howard Meyers, the Bishop Raymond Bricker, and the Rev. Carl Meyers will officiate. Burial will be in Meyers Cemetery, Welsh Run.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 and Thursday one hour prior to the funeral at the church. For the convenience of friends the funeral home will be open Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m.

Arrangements are by Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Inc., 6492 Lincoln Way West, St. Thomas, Pa.

David F. Oden Sr.

MERCERSBURG, Pa.- David F. Born Jan. 29, 1940, in Hancock, he was the son of the late Franklin and Anna Mae Braithwaite Oden.

He was employed by Grove Worldwide of Shady Grove, Pa., for 20 years.

He was of the Protestant faith.

He was a member of Mercersburg Moose Lodge 1790, Mercersburg.

He is survived by his wife, Stella Clem Oden, whom he married in 1958; two daughters, Joanne Daywalt of Waynesboro and Linda Jean McKendrick of South Mountain, Pa.; one son, David F. Oden Jr. of Waynesboro; one sister, Judith Hammel of Morattico, Va.; one brother, Carter Oden of Milpitas, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home Inc., 47 N. Park Ave., Mercersburg. Lewis Braithwaite will officiate.

There will be no viewing, however, the family will receive friends one hour prior to the services Wednesday evening in the funeral home.

The family requests the omission of flowers.
