Born May 26, 1903, near Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late David L. and Florence Cluck Rowe.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Albin Hanson, in 1959; and by her second husband, Paul Santo, in 1981.
She was a graduate of Chambersburg High School; and Shippensburg Teachers College.
She taught school in Guilford Township, Pa., and Townsend, Mont.
She was a member of Menno Haven Christian Fellowship.
She is survived by a brother, Russell Rowe of Chambersburg; three stepdaughters, Marjorie Watt of Brandon, Manitoba, Canada, Eleanor Mills of London, Ontario, Canada, and Rose Hamilton of Nepean, Ontario, Canada; and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by three sisters.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave. in Chambersburg. Chaplains Vernon Isner and Samuel J. Troyer will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.
Visitation will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Allan D. Ommert
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Allan D. Ommert, 44, of 5500 Lincoln Way East, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1999, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.
Born March 17, 1955, in Chambersburg, he was the son of John M. and Mary Ricker Ommert of Chambersburg.
He was a 1973 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.
He retired in January 1999 from Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg.
He was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fayetteville.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Deborah A. Smith and Sherry L. Bennett, both of Biglerville, Pa.; two brothers, Dennis R. Ommert of South Mountain, Pa., and Donald E. Ommert of Frederick, Md.; three nieces; five nephews; and a great-nephew.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road in Chambersburg. The Rev. David L. Hefner will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Kenneth R. Kerns

Born March 9, 1955, in McConnellsburg, Pa., he was the son of Robert J. and Carrie Divelbliss Kerns of Warfordsburg.
He was a 1973 graduate of Southern Fulton High School.
He was employed as a truck driver for Kerns Trucking Co. and K.L. Grimm Trucking Co.
He was a Protestant.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sons, Kenneth Robert Kerns, Shawn Casey Kerns and Corey Lynn Kerns, all of Hancock; two sisters, Gloria Hoffman of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and Alicia Stotler of Williamsport; three brothers, Robert E. Kerns, Roger Lee Kerns and Gary Kerns, all of Warfordsburg; a granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Highland United Methodist Church. The Rev. Mary Gebe Stevens will officiate. Burial will be in the church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 306 Union St., Berkeley Springs. The funeral home will be open from noon.
James A. Gomez Sr.
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - James A. Born Sept. 20, 1937, in Carmichaels, Pa., he was the son of the late Rafael and Phyllis Philips Gomez Sr.
He was a 1956 graduate of Cumberland Township High School in Carmichaels. He received a bachelor's degree in social studies from Waynesburg (Pa.) College, and a master's degree in elementary education from Shippensburg (Pa) University.
He retired as a Spanish teacher from Scotland (Pa.) School for Veterans' Children.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW in Chambersburg; Burt J. Asper Post 46 American Legion in Chambersburg; Hume-McNeil-Byers AMVETS Post 224 in Chambersburg; Detrich-Brechbill Post 46 American Legion in St. Thomas, Pa.; Marine Corps League in Chambersburg; and 40 et 8 in Chambersburg.
He was a member of National Woodcarvers Association.
He is survived by two daughters, Veronica Bowers of Chambersburg and Kara Haas of Middletown, Pa.; a son, James A. Gomez Jr. of Duncannon, Pa.; two brothers, George S. Gomez of Nemacolin, Pa., and Rafael Gomez Jr. of Carmichaels; two grandchildren, including Kayla Gomez of Chambersburg, whom he helped raise; and his former wife, Ellen Poskgay Gomez of Chambersburg.
He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Services will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate.
Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Friday at 10:30 a.m.

He had worked as caretaker at Rhodes Grove Campground in Kauffman, Pa.; and at Sunnyway Foods in Greencastle. He last worked at Grove Worldwide in Shady Grove, Pa.
He was a member of Berean Bible Fellowship Church in State Line, Pa.; and attended Calvary Bible Church near Greencastle.
He was a member of Rescue Hose Co. No. 1 of Greencastle. He coached for Greencastle Little League.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley J. Myers Walck, whom he married
Nov. 10, 1962; two daughters, Elissa M. Parsons of Greencastle and Angelina M. Tressler of El Paso, Texas; two sons, Allen G. Walck of Greencastle and Kevin M. Walck of State Line; three sisters, V. Ruth Dawson of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Gladys L. Forney of Marion, Pa., and Emma C. Swope of Greencastle; four brothers, Jaye N. Walck, Richard E. Walck, Franklin L. Walck and Ronald E. Walck, all of Greencastle; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Miriam Overcash; and a brother, Robert C. Walck.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Bible Church, 3845 Buchanan Trail West in Greencastle. The Revs. Glen A. Miller and Bruce Dick will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle; and Thursday at 1 p.m. at the church.

Robert W. Phipps
HARRISONVILLE, Pa. - Robert William "Bob" Phipps, 54, of 131 N. He retired with the rank of sergeant from the Pennsylvania State Police. He was a station commander at McConnellsburg, Newville and and Everett, Pa.
He attended Harrisonville Holiness Church in Harrisonville.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Sparks Phipps, whom he married
Feb. 17, 1968; two daughters, Paula Michele Phipps and Cynthia Dawn Daniels, both of Harrisonville; a sister, Judy Phipps of Six Mile Run, Pa.; two brothers, David Phipps and Michael Phipps, both of Dillsburg, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Sideling Hill Christian Church in Needmore, Pa. Pastor Frank Heidler II will officiate. Burial will be in Sideling Hill Christian Cemetery in Needmore.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sipes Funeral Home in Harrisonville.
