Hospital.
Born April 7, 1949, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of Chancie L. and Ethel E. Naugle Blizzard Sr. of Caledonia Manor Nursing Home in Fayetteville.
He attended school in South Mountain, Pa., and in Quincy, Pa.
He was employed by South Mountain Restoration Center in the housekeeping department and the kitchen.
He was a member of South Mountain Volunteer Fire Co.; South Mountain Fish and Game Association; and Adams County Fish and Game Association.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Esther D. Wolford Blizzard, whom he married
Aug. 15, 1979; aunts; uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn M. Blizzard; and a brother, Michael E. Blizzard.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Mervil R. Stambaugh will officiate. Burial will be in Strang's Cemetery in South Mountain.
The family will receive friends Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
John R. Cosey
HUMMELSTOWN, Pa. - John R. Cosey, 68, of Hummelstown, and formerly of Chambersburg, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Monday, Sept. 20, 1999, at his home.
Born in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Daniel W. and Kathryn Mosser Cosey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Bing Cosey, in 1978.
He was a graduate of Chambersburg High School.
He retired as a sales representative from Sun Oil Co.
He was a former member of Hummelstown Lions Club.
He is survived by four sons, Barry K. Cosey of Linglestown, Pa., Richard A. Cosey of Yuma, Ariz., Bradley J. Cosey of Hummelstown and Craig R. Cosey of Elizabethtown, Pa.; three grandchildren; and his companion, Elizabeth Stinson.
Services will be Friday at 6 p.m. at Trefz and Bowser Funeral Home, 114 W. Main St., Hummelstown. The Rev. Ronald G. VanBlargan will officiate.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5:30 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Elsie C. Lehman

Born May 19, 1912, in Greene Township, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Henry B. and Fannie Caufman Lehman.
She was a member of Chambersburg Mennonite Church.
She is survived by a sister, Edna C. Lehman of Menno Village; two nieces and three nephews.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Chambersburg Mennonite Church. The Revs. Jerry Roth and Preston Frey will officiate. Burial will be in the church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to Benevolent Fund at Menno Haven, 2075 Scotland Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201.

MCCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Mary K. Born Jan. 2, 1908, in McConnellsburg, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Sarah Knauff.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn S. Bard, in 1995.
She was a 1929 graduate of Juniata College. She received her master's degree from Drexel University.
She worked as a teacher and librarian in Irvington (N.J.) High School.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, McConnellsburg.
She was a member of the Auxiliary of McConnellsburg American Legion, Fulton County Historical Society, Friends of the Library and McConnellsburg Garden Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Carole Helman of Chambersburg; one son, Paul N. Bard of Strattonville, Pa.; one sister, Mildred McCormick of DeWittville, N.Y.; five grandchildren; two nieces and five nephews.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, McConnellsburg. The Rev. Barron Barley will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday at 9 a.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fulton County Library, 227 N. First St., McConnellsburg, PA 17233; or to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 203 E. Walnut St., McConnellsburg, PA 17233.
Effie C. Geedy

She worked for Howard Johnson's Restaurant in Path Valley, Pa., as a waitress. She and her second husband owned and operated Stanley Steamer Carpet Cleaning in Chambersburg.
She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Lake of Mercersburg, Pa., and Cathy Schaffer of Chambersburg; one son, James Locke Jr. of Edenville, Pa.; one sister, Isabelle Gearhart of Hagerstown; two brothers, Richard Jaymes of Mount Vernon, Ohio, and George Jaymes of Miamisburg, Ohio; seven grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Locke; and a brother, Sherman Jaymes.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 6492 Lincoln Way West, St. Thomas, Pa. The Revs. Clarence Dehart Jr. and John Semple will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, George F. Crider Jr.; three daughters, Julia McKee and Frances D. Crider, both of Shippensburg, and June M. LeMaster of Florida; one son, Paul F. Crider Sr. of Newville, Pa.; one sister, Gladys M. Hershey of Shippensburg; 13 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg. The Rev. Russell Huffman will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. at Peoples Gospel Tabernacle, Security Road, Hagerstown; and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
