Born March 16, 1922, in Mount Pleasant Township, Pa., he was the son of the late John H. and Marie E. Gebhart Weaver.

He was owner and operator of Weaver's Antique Shop, John's Discount and Weaver's Gifts and Novelties, Tyrone, Pa.
He served overseas with the Army during World War II.
He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Bonneauville.
He also was a lifetime member of Catholic War Veterans 1342, Bonneauville, Littletown V.F.W. 6954, Gettysburg American Legion 202, Hagerstown AMVETS 10 and Hanover Loyal Order of Moose Post 227.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Weaver; two daughters, Elaine E. Hamm of Hanover, Pa., and Darby J. Steele of Altoona, Pa.; five sons, John E. Weaver of Arendtsville, Pa., Wayne J. Weaver and Larry F. Weaver, both of Altoona, Michael N. Weaver and Russell G. Weaver, both of New Oxford, Pa.; one stepdaughter, Valerie J. Conger of Sciota, Pa.; four sisters, Mary Moser of Gettysburg, Catherine Weaver and Helen Osborn, both of Hanover, and Jane Benner of Sheltonham, Pa.; four brothers, Richard E. Weaver of Bonneauville, Roger Weaver, Robert Weaver and William Weaver, all of Gettysburg; 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Steven R. Weaver; one grandson, Steven R. Weaver, Jr.; one sister, Dorothy Shanebrook and two brothers, Norman Weaver and Nelson Weaver.
A funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 10 E. Hanover St., Bonneauville. The Rev. Philip DeChico will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be presented by Catholic War Veterans of Bonneauville.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 66 E. Hanover St., Bonneauville, with a prayer service at 8 p.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Mt. St. Mary's Grotto, Emmitsburg, MD 21727, or St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 10 East Hanover Street, Bonneauville. PA 17325.
Mary C. Pilgrim

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Lester Stine, the Rev. Paul Baker and the Rev. Robert Timmons will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Christine H. Funston

Funston, retired CWO2 in the U.S. Navy, both of Buffalo Mills; three sisters, Betty Lou Shank and Mary Alice Kelly, both of Clear Spring, and Katherine King of Hagerstown; two brothers, Eldon Hawbaker and Carl Hawbaker, both of Buffalo Mills; eight grandchildren, two-step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Harvey H. Ziegler Funeral Home, P.O. Box 636, Hyndman, PA 15545.
Kenneth R. Tate
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Kenneth R. "Mike" Tate, 78, of 760 Franklin Square Drive, and formerly of Ridgway, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, Aug. 27, 1999, at the home of his daughter, with whom he resided the past two years.
Born Oct. 20, 1920, in Ridgway, he was the son of the late Fred B. and Ida Zurfluh Tate.
He has been employed by Airco-Speer Corp. and Stackpole Corp., retiring in 1986.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War in the Pacific Theater.
He was a volunteer fireman in Ridgway.
He was a member of Presbyterian Church of Falling Spring and served over 40 years in many church offices of Faith United Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Helen Miller Tate; three daughters, Autumn Beck of Pleasant Gap, Pa., Caron Decker of Chambersburg and Lisa Garner of Ridgway; one son, Riley K. Tate of Philadelphia; one sister, Marion Schmimmel of Reading, Pa.; 14 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Gretchen Tate, Lois Hyden, and Connie Simon, and one brother, Ted Tate.
Memorial services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Faith United Church of Christ, 400 Ash St., Ridgway. The Rev. Stephen R. Robertson will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Ridgway.
There will be no viewing.

He was preceded in death by one son, one granddaughter, one great-grandson, one sister and one brother.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. George A. Mouer, Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Thomas N. "Tommy" Kingsley, 83, a resident of ManorCare Health Services, Chambersburg, and formerly of 114 N. He was a member of First Christian Church of Wellington.
He was a former member of Wellington Elks Club.
He is survived by his wife, Dot Morene Chase Kingsley, whom he married
in 1936; two daughters, Connie Farrar of Greencastle, Pa., and Cindy Hossfeld of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sons, Larry Kingsley of Houston and Kenny Kingsley of Corvallis, Ore.; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was the late of his immediate family.
Funeral services will be held at Hawks Funeral Home in Wellington. Burial will be in the Sumner Memorial Gardens in Wellington.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to First Christian Church, Wellington, Kansas.
