Hospital.
Born March 3, 1920, in Port Republic, Va., she was the daughter of the late George W. Nicholas and Ollie B. Good Nicholas Mason.
She attended schools in Port Republic.
She was a homemaker and did occasional domestic work.
She was a member of Hawley Memorial Presbyterian Church, Blue Ridge Summit.
She also was a member of Cascade American Legion Post 239 Ladies Auxiliary, Blue Ridge Sportsmen Association and National AARP.
She is survived by her husband, Howard F. "Sandy" Sandridge, whom she married
Feb. 12, 1942; one daughter, Norma Ann Jackson of Shelbyville, Tenn.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one niece; and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobbie Nicholas and Edsel Nicholas.
Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, Pa. The Rev. Eugene M. Cline will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Hilda C. Dale
QUINCY, Pa. - Hilda Catherine Overcash Dale, 83, a resident of Quincy United Methodist Home, and formerly of 8715 Capitol Hill Road, Waynesboro, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, Aug. 27, 1999, at the nursing home.
Born Sept. 14, 1915, in Greencastle, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Reuben Calvin and Elsie Mae Thompson Overcash.

Aug. 28, 1946.
She attended Oakhill School.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna L. Wagaman of Waynesboro and Shirley A. Moser of Rouzerville, Pa.; three sons, Walter F. Dale of Quincy, and Ronald C. Dale and Donald E. Dale, both of Waynesboro; 13 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five sisters, four brothers and two grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Dwan N. Newsome will officiate. Burial will be in Grindstone Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Rudolph A. Fordham

She taught school for 19 years in Pennsylvania and for 18 years in Baltimore-area schools.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, Pa.
She was a member of Franklin County Teachers Association, Pennsylvania State Education Association, National Education Association and AARP.
She is survived by a daughter, Landa K. Miller of Chambersburg, and a brother, Hayward V. McLaughlin of Fort Loudon.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg. The Rev. Clyde DeShong will officiate.
There will be no viewing.
Memorial donations may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 150 Norlo Drive, Fayetteville, PA 17201.
Arrangements are by Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
Sherman W. Carson

Born Oct. 30, 1925, in Amaranth, Pa., he was the son of the late James and Achsah Giffin Carson.
He was a 1943 graduate of Warfordsburg High School.
He was a farmer.
He was a member of Amaranth Church of the Brethren, where he was a Sunday School teacher and church treasurer.
He is survived by one brother, Herbert R. Carson of Greencastle, Pa.; one niece; one nephew; one great-niece; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ada B. Carson and Irene M. Carson.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Amaranth Church of the Brethren, Route 2, Warfordsburg. The Rev. Frank Teeter will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock, and at the church Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. The funeral home will be open Sunday from 2 p.m..
The family requests that memorial donations be made to Amaranth Church of the Brethren Building Fund, Route 2, Warfordsburg, PA 17267.
Raymond T. Rock

Born Aug. 21, 1925, in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late C. Walter and Anna Harmon Rock.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine A. Lineburg Rock, in 1988.
He attended Waynesboro area schools.
He worked at Letterkenny Army Depot for 31 years at the sewage disposal plant as an operator. He previously worked for Waynesboro Knitting Mill; and at Waynesboro Movie Theatre.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he serving during World War II.
He was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waynesboro.
He was a member of William McLaughlin VFW Post 695; DAV; Joseph Stickle American Legion Post 15; AARP South Chapter and National; was a social member of A.T.H.&L. Fire Co., and was a volunteer at Waynesboro Human Services and Lunch Place.
He is survived by his wife, Marian Sinner Rock; one son, Rick R. Rock of Gettysburg, Pa.; two sisters, Thelma Brown of Fayetteville, Pa., and Katherine Mae Shade of Waynesboro; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brothers, Clyde Rock, Richard Rock, Floyd Rock, Bernard Rock, Edwin Rock and Paul Rock.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Richard Seaks will officiate. Burial will be in Burns Hill Cemetery.
