CARLISLE, Pa. - Marian B.F. Born Aug. 5, 1904, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Margaret Bealer Frank.
Her husband, Dixon Scott Zacharias, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died in 1982.
A registered nurse, she worked in hospitals in the Philadelphia area and as a private duty nurse.
She attended Market Street United Church of Christ in Harrisburg.
She was an honorary citizen of Boystown, Neb.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, Pa. The Rev. Anna Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice, or to Boystown, Neb.
David G. Simmers
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - David G. "Dave" Simmers, 78, of 12377 Pen Mar Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at Waynesboro Hospital.
Born Jan. 28, 1921, in Fox Hill, Pa., he was the son of the late John W. and Emma L. Baker Simmers.
He attended Zullinger School and Washington Township High School.
He had been employed by Potomac Motorlines and Eastern Trailways, both in Hagerstown; worked at Mack Trucks and Fairchild, both in Hagerstown, as a machinist; for Grove Worldwide in Shady Grove, Pa., in the sales department. Prior to retiring in 1983, he was a machinist for Anvil Products in Greencastle, Pa. He then drove cars for Dean Hebb in Waynesboro.
He formerly attended Rouzerville United Methodist Church.
He was a member of Sinne-Mahoning Rod and Gun Club in Sinne-Mahoning, Pa., and National AARP.
He played accordion and organ in bands.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret L. Brinkley Simmers, whom he married
Dec. 21, 1940; two sons, Dale R. Simmers of Hagerstown, and Gordon R. Simmers of Newville, Pa.; three sisters, Esther Miley of Greencastle, Pa., Josephine McFerren of Waynesboro, and Mildred Lowman of Chambersburg, Pa.; six granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Simmers, Robert Simmers, Ralph Simmers and Joseph Simmers.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Eugene M. Cline will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery near Quincy, Pa.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
Paul W. Nally III

He was employed by Howard Robson, Landisville, Pa., as a carpenter.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Burnt Cabins Independent Bible Church.
He was a member of Burnt Cabins Civic Association.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Burnt Cabins Independent Bible Church. The Rev. Robert Benson will officiate.
Arrangements are by Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, McConnellsburg.
Harold L. Crider
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Harold L. Born Sept. 27, 1922, near Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Frederick and Florence Hock Crider.
He was a 1941 graduate of Chambersburg High School.
He was a self-employed dairy farmer in Chambersburg. He had been a salesman at Chambersburg Ford, and at Forrester's Lincoln-Mercury in Chambersburg.
He was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church in Chambersburg, and was board chairman and chairman of the trustees.
He was a member of Franklin County Farm Bureau; former president of 4-H Dairy Council; and served on the local county board of the Dairy Herd Improvement Association.
He is survived by his wife, Esther J. Alleman Crider, whom he married
July 22, 1951; two daughters, Susan Fagan of McVeytown, Pa., and Carla Carey of McConnellsburg, Pa.; three sons, Ronald E. Crider, Dennis H. Crider and John G. Crider, all of Chambersburg; one brother, Robert F. Crider of Chambersburg; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Park Avenue United Methodist Church, Chambersburg. The Rev. Robert E. Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
Visitation will be at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home in Chambersburg Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., and at the church one hour prior to the service.
Memorial donations may be made to Park Avenue United Methodist Church, 125 Park Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
Sherry A. Sweeney

She was a medical assistance resource specialist for Dauphin County Mental Health-Mental Retardation Management Unit.
She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in McConnellsburg, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Robert Sweeney; two daughters, Kelly Ann Thomas and Kimberly Ann Bloomer; three sons, Kristoffer Edward Bloomer and Jason Scott Bloomer, both of Harrisonville, and Peter Edward Boomer Jr.; three sisters, Nancy Tenpenny of New Jersey, Robin Linster and Jennifer Trojan, both of Pennsylvania.
Services will be Thursday at 9 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church in McConnellsburg. The Rev. David Becker will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Visitation will be at Sipes Funeral Home in Harrisonville today from 4 to 9 pm.

H. T. Zurgable Jr.

Born Dec. 5, 1940, in Gettysburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Henry T. Sr. and Anna V. Antolick Zurgable.
He graduated from St. Joseph's High School and attended Mount Saint Mary's College, both in Emmitsburg, Md.
He retired in 1983 from the Purchasing Department of Mack Trucks in Hagerstown. He then owned and operated H. T.'s Consultant and Services Co. in Greencastle.
He was a member of Williamsport Redmen; Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1790 in Mercersburg; Knights of Columbus; American Quarter Horse Association; and Pheasants Forever.
He is survived by two daughters, Nicole E. Zurgable of Waynesboro, Pa., and Leigh Anna Zurgable of Chambersburg; one son, Patrick T. Zurgable of Waynesboro; three grandchildren; a companion, Sue C. Whitmore of Greencastle; Ms. Whitemore's daughters, whom he helped raise, Kimberly L. Brewer of Greencastle and Kelli A. Whitmore of Hagerstown; two sisters, Dolores Zurgable of Maryland and Wanda J. Zurgable of South Carolina.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 12 N. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Michael Kennedy will be celebrant.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.
