Born July 16, 1937, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Ray C. Sr., and Bessie Margaretta Mills Burns.
He retired in 1996 from Hess Self-Serve Gasoline Station, Chambersburg, as a cashier after 13 years.
He was a member of Hume-McNeal-Byers AmVets Post 224, Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife, Alberta "Louise" Kump Burns, whom he married
in 1971; four sisters, Betty Schooley and Barbara Pitras, both of West Palm Beach, Fla., Arlene Rice of Fayetteville, Pa., and Linda L. Helman of Shippensburg, Pa.; a brother, V. Michael Burns of Richmond, Va.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Services will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Lester F. Stine will officiate. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Victor R. Andreine
STATE LINE, Pa. - Victor Robert Andreine, 77, of State Line, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Sunday, July 25, 1999, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.
Born Nov. 21, 1921, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Harry and Margaret McLucas Andreine.
He was a 1941 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School in Davidsville, Pa.
He worked for Mack Trucks in Hagerstown as a machinist/toolmaker and was department supervisor from 1962 to 1982, retiring after 20 years.
He served with Company H, 281 Engineering Battalion in Central European, African and the Middle East during World War II.
He was a member of Clayton Memorial Church of God, Mercersburg, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis L. Albright Andreine, whom he married
in 1942; one son, Victor L. Andreine of Chambersburg; one brother, Harry Andreine of Santa Clara, Calif.; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherene Marie Andreine.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Miller-Grove Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St., Greencastle. The Revs. David E. Pine and Phyllis J. Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Madley Cemetery, Hyndman, Pa., with military services by Fort Bedford V.F.W. Post 7527 Honor Guard, Bedford, Pa.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Vernon C. Dillon
GREENSBURG, Pa. - Vernon C. "Red" Dillon, 74, of Greensburg, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Monday, July 27, 1999, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg.
Born July 20, 1925, in Mount Pleasant Township, Pa., he was the son of the late Beryl B. and Wilda Ruth Dillon.
He retired from Mack Trucks in Hagerstown with 25 years of service.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was a member of South Greensburg Methodist Church, the church choir and was a church trustee.
He was a former EMT with Williamsport Ambulance Service.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Jean Keener Dillon; one daughter, Paulette Long of Greensburg; two sons, Rusty Dillon of Boyds, Md., and Don Dillon of Yreka, Calif.; a sister, Peggy Gettins of Greensburg; an aunt; and three grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. The Rev. Thomas Hindman will officiate. Burial will be in Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park, Greensburg.
The family will receive friends today from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Benjamin S. Shrader, Jr.
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Benjamin S. "Ben" Shrader Jr., 78, of 808 S. Born March 14, 1921, in Greencastle, Pa., he was the son of the late Benjamin S. Sr. and Helen Wagner Shrader.
He was a 1941 graduate of Greencastle High School.
In his early life he worked for Wolfe Co., Chambersburg, then for Greencastle Ice and Cold Storage. Prior to retiring in 1985, he worked at Teledyne Landis Machine Co., Waynesboro, in the Tap Division.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the South Pacific Theater.
He was a member of King Street Otterbein United Brethren Church, Chambersburg.
He was a member of National A.A.R.P.
He is survived by his wife of more than 52 years, Delia C. "Deelie" Chamberlin Shrader; one sister, Vivian Chamberlin of Greencastle and two granddaughters, Stacie Noll and Jaimie Shrader, both of Waynesboro.
He was preceded in death by one son, Samuel L. Shrader; and two brothers, Fred K. Shrader and Jacob Shrader, an infant.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Miller-Grove Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St., Greencastle. The Rev. David G. Rawley will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Military graveside services will be conducted by Charles M. Nitterhouse V.W.F. Post 1599 Honor Guard, Chambersburg.
B. Frank Wagaman Jr.

Born Aug. 29, 1936, in Franklin County, Pa., he was the son of Verna E. Mowen Wagaman of New Oxford, Pa., and the late Rev. B. Frank Wagaman.
He was a 1953 graduate of the former Quincy High School and a 1957 graduate of Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa.
He retired in 1997 from Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, where he worked 34 years as an analytical chemist in the laboratory.
He was a member of Hades Church of the Brethren near Waynesboro, Pa.
He is survived by two sisters, Esther Witmer of Greencastle, Pa., and Lois George of Farmington, N.M.; a brother, Ralph M. Wagaman of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; 10 nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Hades Church of the Brethren near Waynesboro. The Revs. Dean Gearhart and Samuel L. Sheffler will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Quincy, Pa.
There will be no viewing.
Arrangements are by Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Greencastle.
Glenn R. Baker
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Glenn R. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Revanna J. Monn Baker.
A machinist, he was employed by Frick Co. in Waynesboro until 1963, and at Mack Truck, Hagerstown, from 1963 until his retirement in 1987.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946. He was stationed in Germany and Central Europe during World War II.
He was a Protestant.
He is survived by his second wife, Frances L. Zeigler Baker, whom he married
July 5, 1989; two daughters, Nancy Phinicie of Mont Alto, Pa., and Phyllis Baker of Waynesboro; three sons, Glenn R. Baker Jr. of Mont Alto, Ronald E. Baker of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa., and Dale A. Baker of Rouzerville, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Sharon K. Daywalt of Candor, N.C., and Tina K. Hahn of Waynesboro; a stepson, Douglas F. Zeigler of Waynesboro; two sisters, Mary Fox of Rouzerville and Doris Melvis of Philadelphia; two brothers, David Earl Baker Jr. of Wayne Heights, Pa., and Gene Baker of Waynesboro; 19 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, James E. Baker.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Burial will be in Harbaugh Church Cemetery, Rouzerville.
The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour before the services at the funeral home.
