Born April 5, 1945, in Everett, Pa., he was the son of Helen A. Gogley Garlock of McConnellsburg, and the late Marl H. Garlock Sr.
He was a self-employed contractor.
He was a member of United Methodist Church in McConnellsburg.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sandra Jo Doyle Garlock, whom he married
in 1963; two sons, Joseph MacKinlay Garlock Jr. of Three Springs, Pa., and Jonathan Allen Garlock of McConnellsburg; one sister, Mary Lou Taylor of Ebensburg, Pa.; one brother, Robert L. Garlock of McConnellsburg; one grandchild; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, John Gogley Garlock, Marl H. Garlock Jr., Richard L. Garlock and Patrick G. Garlock.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Sipes Funeral Home Inc. in Harrisonville, Pa. The Rev. Donald Bard will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in McConnellsburg.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 to 9 p.m.
Richard Wagaman Sr.
GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Richard Wagaman Sr., 72, of York Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, July 1, 1999, at his home.
Born May 13, 1927, in Adams County, Pa., he was the son of the late Clarence and Dorothy Cease Wagaman.
He owned and operated Wagaman's Iron and Metal in Gettysburg for the past 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Riser Wagaman; five daughters, Susan Baublitz of Abbottstown, Pa., Peggy Beard of Hanover, Pa., Lynda Racer of McSherrystown, Pa., Robin Barton of Spring Grove, Pa., and Holly Biggins of Cashtown, Pa.; two sons, Richard Wagaman Jr. of Gettysburg and Bobby Wagaman of Hanover; two sisters, Gladys Runkle and Bobby Wagaman, both of Hanover; 20 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Wagaman.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg. The Rev. Charles E. Falk Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Flohrs Cemetery, McKnightstown, Pa.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Bertha Q. Monn
MECHANICSBURG, Pa. - Bertha Q. Monn, 101, of Messiah Village, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, July 1, 1999, at Messiah Village.
Born Sept. 8, 1897, in Chambersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William R. and Frances Dohner Moore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry B. Monn, in 1953.
She and her husband owned and operated Palms Trailer Park in Orlando for many years.
She was a member of Brethren in Christ Church, 465 Center St., Chambersburg; and was affiliated with Brethren in Christ in Orlando, Fla.
She is survived by two nieces, Sue Bachtell and Eleanor Henry, both of Chambersburg; and a nephew, Casimer Kriechbaum Jr. of Waynesboro, Pa.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg. The Rev. Maurice Bender will officiate.
There will be no viewing.
The family requests the omission of flowers.

Born June 24, 1923, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Fred N. and Olive Mae Kline Drury.

She retired in 1982 from the former Stanley Co. in Chambersburg, where she was a seamstress.
She was a member of Solomon's United Church of Christ in Chambersburg and the Ladies Aide Society of the church.
She was a member of Chambersburg chapter of AARP.
She is survived by one son, Robert E. Robinson of Fairfield; one sister, Betty Davis of Williamsport; two brothers, Preston Drury and Ira Drury, both of Hagerstown; and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Nelson Drury and Donald Drury.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Peter W. Emig will officiate. Burial will be in Grindstone Hill Cemetery in Chambersburg.
Visitation will be Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

William J. Hartman
SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - William J. Born Dec. 18, 1923, in Mount Union, Pa., he was the son of the late Ralph and Margaret A. Price Hartman.
His wife, Mary Jane Johnston Hartman, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died in 1996.
He retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in 1973 with 28 years of service. He was then employed by Roadway Express in Camp Hill, Pa., for five years and later worked at Arnold Graphics in Chambersburg for 10 years. He last worked part time for Service Master in Chambersburg.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II.
He was a member of Abundant Life Chapel in Chambersburg, and helped to construct the new addition to the church.
He is survived by three daughters, Julia L. Coy of Shippensburg, Susan A. Sucik of Greencastle, Pa., and Pam R. Valdez of Chambersburg; five sisters, Sarah DiNardi of Mount Union, Pa., Jane Martz of Export, Pa., Helen Reed of Hustontown, Pa., Hazel Donat of Ohio, and Edna McIntire of Mount Union, Pa.; one brother, Jesse Hartman of Mount Union; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Wagner and LaVonda Jean Hartman; and infant twin brothers.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Sampson R. Myers will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg, with military graveside services conducted by members of Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW Honor Guard.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday one hour prior to the service.

She was postmaster/telephone operator for Scotland School for Veterans Children in Scotland, Pa., retiring after 25 years of service.
She was a member of King Street United Brethren Church in Chambersburg.
She was a former member of Martha Custis Chapter No. 342 Order of the Eastern Star in Chambersburg.
She is survived by a son, James P. Howard of Chambersburg; two sisters, Marie McLaughlin of Chambersburg and Mary Ellen Martin of Colonial Heights, Va.; and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by 14 sisters and brothers.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
Visitation will be Saturday one hour before the services at the funeral home.
