CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Robert C. Heberling, 74, of 574 Woodstock Road, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, May 18, 1999, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.
Born March 8, 1925, in Williamstown, Pa., he was the son of the late John A. and Susan E. James Heberling.
He attended Shippensburg University.
He retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg after 37 years.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, and was a Sunday school teacher for Good News Sunday School Class.
He was a member and past commander of Burt J. Asper American Legion Post 46 and adjuctant of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 46. He was a member of George Washington Lodge 143 Free and Accepted Masons, Royal Arch Chapter 176, George Washington Council 66, Continental Commandry 56, Valley Forest 145 Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Chambersburg VFW and Greencastle VFW posts, Landis McCleaf Detachment Marine Corps League, AMVETS Post 224, Chambersburg Club, B.P.O.E. 600, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 842, Kittochtinny Historical Society, AARP Chapter 3261, and received the Legion of Honor Award from the Chapel of the Four Chaplains.
He is survived by his wife, Doris J. Gipe Heberling, whom he married
Feb. 17, 1950; one son, Robert A. Heberling of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; two sisters, Gladys Troutman of Williamstown, and Cecilia Wise of Tower City, Pa.; and two brothers, John C. Heberling of Tower City and William E. Heberling of San Antonio.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg, Pa. The Revs. Donald C. Nolder and Ray L. Kauffman will officiate. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery, Greene Township, with military services by Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m., with Masonic services by George Washington Lodge 143 F.&A.M. at 8:30 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 225 S. Second St., Chambersburg, PA 17201; or to American Cancer Society, Franklin County Unit, 452 E. King St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
Millard H. Robison
TARENTUM, Pa. - Millard H. Robison, 90, of RD 1, Box 348, Crawford Run Road, and formerly of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Tuesday, May 18, 1999, at Citizens General Hospital in New Kinsington, Ill.
Born Dec. 7, 1908, in McConnellsburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Edward and Alice Weller Robison.
His wife, Laura Paul Robison, preceded him in death
He was a brakeman for Western Maryland Railway for 35 years.
He was a Protestant.
He was a member of Owls Club in Hagerstown, and the Stuart, Fla., Eagles.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary McCuen of Mount Eden, Ky., and Laura Mowen of East Deer Township, Pa., with whom he resided; five sons, Jack O. Robison of Brackenridge, Pa., William Robison and Charles T. Robison, both of Falling Waters, W.Va., Richard Robison of Coco, Fla.; and Paul Robison of Bedford, Pa.; three sisters, Dolly Cross and Stella Nuss, both of Maryland, and Lollie Wilderman of Pennsylvania; four brothers, Lloyd Robison of Arizona, Merle Robison and Kenneth Robison, both of Maryland, and Carl Robison of Virginia; 24 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry Lee and Robert Robison.
Services will be Saturday, May 29, at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown. The Rev. Robert V. Robinson will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Duster Funeral Home, 10th Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum, today from 2 to 4 p.m.
Frances V. Blickenstaff
GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Frances V. Blickenstaff, 82, of 867 York Road, and formerly of Fairfield, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Wednesday, May 19, 1999, at Gettysburg Hospital.
Born March 11, 1917, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Levi Evers and Mary Ruth Moore Holtzman.

She was a registered nurse.
She is survived by one son, Gary E. Blickenstaff of McSherrystown, Pa.; one sister, Jeanne Parks of Hagerstown; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Monahan Funeral Home, 27 E. Main St., Fairfield, Pa. The Rev. Carroll C. Luckenbaugh will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Clear Spring.
Marie D. Crider
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Marie Dora Furlow Crider, 80, of Manorcare Health Services, and formerly of 12166 Blue Mountain Ave., Rouzerville, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Monday, May 17, 1999, at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born June 5, 1918, in Sunnyside, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Elmer Clarence and Loretta Tiny Obaker Furlow.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson "Pete" Crider Sr., in 1995. They were married
Oct. 15, 1942.
She attended schools in Cumberland, Md.
She worked at Celinise in Cumberland; then transported school children. She subsequently was a machine operator at Freeman's Shoe Factory in Waynesboro, Pa., retiring in 1985.
She attended Rouzerville Lutheran Church; at Hearthstone, she attended services at the home.
She was a member of Joe Stickell American Legion Post No. 15 Ladies Auxiliary; Eagles Club Inc. Ladies Auxiliary; and South Chapter No. 2977 AARP, all of Waynesboro; and National AARP.
She is survived by a son, Woodrow W. Crider Jr. of Rouzerville; a stepson, Charles Crider of Smithsburg; a sister, Loretta Merbaugh of Cumberland; a brother, Lester Furlow of Cumberland; two grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Furlow.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Pastor Steven Amundson will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends Friday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jacob S. Miner

He was a 1963 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.
He was a warranty officer for Grove Worldwide in Shady Grove, Pa., for 32 years.
He was a Protestant.
He was a member of Order of Moose Lodge No. 842, Chambersburg; and West Side Cruisers Car Club, Inc., of Greencastle, Pa.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Diane S. Stepler Miner, whom he married
Nov. 20, 1973; a foster daughter, Darlene R. Fremgen, at home; two stepsisters, Yvonne McClure of LaPlata, Md., and Bonita Pieper of Waldorf, Md.; and a stepbrother, Dennis L. Forsythe of Costa Mesa, Calif.
An informal memorial gathering will be held Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. in Meadows Conference Dining Room at Rhodes Grove Camp, Kauffman, Pa., across from the old Brown Mill School.
Burial will be private.
There will be no public viewing.
The family requests the omission of flowers.
