QUINCY, Pa. - Mae G. Sheeley Myers, 90, a resident of Quincy United Methodist Home, Quincy, and formerly of 208 East Baltimore St., Greencastle, Pa., Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Saturday, May 15, 1999, in Waynesboro Hospital, Waynesboro, Pa.
Born Nov. 20, 1909, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Calvin and Nettie Belle Painter Sheeley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Myers, whom she married

She attended Washington Township schools.
She was a member of Otterbein United Brethren Church, Greencastle, where she taught Sunday School for a number of years.
She is survived by one daughter, Phyllis M. Myers of Greencastle; one son, Charles W. Myers of Greencastle; one sister, Margaret Fortney of Five Forks, Pa.; one brother, Frederick Shelley; two grandsons, one great-grandson, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Alice Sheffler, and six brothers, Merle Sheeley, Ora Sheeley, Charles Sheeley, Roy Sheeley, Russell Sheeley and John Sheeley.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Miller-Grove Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St., Greencastle. The Rev. David G. Rawley will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Norman Runyon Jr.
CRYSTAL RIVERS, Fla. - Norman "Sonny" Runyon Jr., 54, of 8550 Mayo Drive, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, May 13, 1999, at Cyprus Cove Nursing Home, Crystal Rivers.
Born May 17, 1944, in Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son of Norman Runyon Sr. of Caledonia Manor Nursing Home, Fayetteville, Pa., and the late Pearl Jones Runyon.
He had worked as a telephone installer for Global Phone Technical Co., when he was in Chambersburg, and since living in Florida, he most recently worked for Circle K Stores.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was a member of Crystal River Bass Club; he enjoyed fishing and boating.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a daughter, Norma Likely of Hagerstown; two sons, David Runyon of Fayetteville, Pa. and James Runyon of Fort Myers, Fla.; two sisters, Faye E. Helman of Chambersburg and Nancy Welsh of Fayetteville; a brother, Richard Runyon of Chambersburg; and four grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg. The Rev. Ron Cook will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour before the services at the funeral home.
Marguerite L.W. Herman
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Marguerite L.W. Herman, 78, a resident of Shook Home, and formerly of 541 Montgomery Ave., Chambersburg, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Thursday, May 13, 1999, at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Aug. 20, 1920, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late John G. and Olive M. Black Wingert.

She was a 1939 graduate of Chambersburg High School.
She was employed by Chambersburg Area School District in the cafeteria of J. Frank Faust Junior High School in Chambersburg. She previously worked for Pennsylvania Department of Health's Bureau of Vital Statistics in Harrisburg, Pa.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Chambersburg, where she was formerly active with the Cub Scout and Boy Scout programs.
She also was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Burt J. Asper Post 46 American Legion, Chambersburg.
She was the winner of the 1937 Miss Chambersburg contest, which was sponsored by the American Legion.
She is survived by two sons, Douglas W. Herman and John W. Herman, both of Chambersburg; one sister, Betty Oyer of Chambersburg; and three grandsons.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Stephen W. Hoffman will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shook Home, 55 S. Second St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
D. Jean Bream Martin
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - D. Jean Bream Martin, 62, of 265 Alley No. 1 North, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch" target="_blank">died Friday, May 14, 1999, in the emergency room of Waynesboro Hospital.
Born June 26, 1936, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of Margaret E. Brown Bream of Waynesboro and the late Raymond G. Bream.
She was employed with Waynesboro Shoe Factory; Regency Thermographers; and most recently with Landis Machine Co. as an inspector. She retired in July 1998.
She was a member of New Baltimore Church of God.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Paul V. Martin, whom she married
July 17, 1954; four daughters, Verna J. Martin, Margaret R. Smith, Paula K. Welsh and Wanda S. Hammonds, all of Waynesboro; three sisters, Ella J. Caraway of Lewisville, Ala., Margaret Bowman and Katrine Izer, both of Waynesboro; five brothers, James Bream of Hamlet, N.C., Raymond L. Bream, Donald M. Bream, Mervin Bream and Marvin Bream, all of Waynesboro; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Boyd G. "Bud" Bream.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at New Baltimore Church of God, 4947 Spruce Road, South Mountain, Pa. Pastor C. Roy Daywalt will officiate. Burial will be in Strang's Cemetery, South Mountain.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
Alverta E. Matthews
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Alverta E. She attended Fairview schools.

She had been employed at orchards; as a presser at Waynesboro Knitting Mill; a machine operator at Waynesboro Shoe Factory; and a presser at Waynesboro Laundry. Prior to retiring in 1986, she was a presser at Connie's Sportswear in Waynesboro.
She attended Fox Hill Union Church.
She was a member of AARP.
She is survived by three daughters, Helen A. Wagaman of Mont Alto, Pa., Joyce L. Hartman of Carlisle, Pa., and Jacquline M. Baer of Waynesboro; three sons, Kenneth A. Naugle of Fairview, Conrad R. Naugle of Waynesboro and Gilden R. Naugle of Greencastle, Pa.; one sister, Barbara Summers of Fairview; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, B. Annalee Ridenhour and Gladys Naugle; two sons, Alfred G. Naugle and Glen D. Naugle; eight sisters, Sarah A. Monn, Emmie Monn, Lilly B. Welsh, Rosie B. Monn, Alice M. Monn, Goldie I. Freeman, Ella M. Tarman and Grace V. Freeman; two half-sisters, Mary C. Monn and Ida M. Monn; one brother, James Monn; one half-brother, John A. Monn; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Wayne Kuhns will officiate.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
